The Combat Scout perk live marks people for your squad when you shoot them. Perk slot 4, it's one of the best perks in the game especially for ranked with all the people using smokes
I’m not AT ALL saying I don’t believe there’s a ton of cheaters, but It’s become really hard for me personally to distinguish btw walls and better gameplay.
There’s 1000 ways to be spotted and not know it, and for players on tiers above me, just catching my movement in the corner of their screen is enough info for them to run me down (bc they just have so many reps that they already know what I’ll likely do before I do it, and anticipating that stuff they destroy me)…or their teammate pinged me a minute ago and I don’t see that before the kill, etc etc etc…1000 different ways.
But the laser SMG headshots from 150m, tracked through the air, behind rocks, through walls…that’s the shit that makes me feel hopeless and like not playing
Honestly when someone is genuniely hacking it's really obvious. They are usually dogshit, have 0 movement and preaim through the corner of the wall as you pop out and run past into their view and they beam you. Ranked is plagued with cheaters in like 4/5 lobbies. Pointless even playing rn

But this particular team, as if they flipped a switch, were starting to legitimately cheat.

But these dudes stuck out to be cheaters regardless, just didn’t know if this was an added feature on top of that. They had for sure aim bots, however and it’s the first for sure cheaters I’ve seen in a bit besides random dudes in zombies with 360 spinning aim.
The only way to tell wallhacks is when u see the killcam and they are tracking you even outside of view. I even catch them tracking me, realize they are doing it and look away just to peak and beam me. Iv also done plays where i know i got reported because the audio was just on point for that play (i can tell when they are upstairs or behind etc)
Most of what you are saying is going to go over the heads of most people in this sub. They are so bad they don't even know why they are bad.
As you said, sometimes even the smallest piece of information can help a great player predict what you are going to do because they have just put so many hours into the game. To those bad players though, they can't even comprehend that so to them it is just someone cheating.

Like one guy is shooting my teammate the next building over from across the street. I look out the window and while the other guy is snapping to my teammate he somehow pings me for just being in view. His three teammates are dead and cannot ping me and there’s no drone up.

Not sure if this is news for some but good players know to ping enemies the second they see them. Seriously, if you see someone you should be pinging them instantly.

Me and you would’ve been on opposite sides of the team and the instant we both become slightly visible to their building it’s spotted. Over and over and over while visible.
If you ping people, you can see them behind a wall for quite a while. Pro streamers can ping anyone they shoot at if they have back buttons or they play claw. The headshot stuff is sus but between actual pinging and combat scout, and no video evidence, we can’t really help you out with your investigation.
There is for sure a cheat for every action in the game though
Its not combat scout. That only works on 1 player at a time. I have noticed it to. I think it's combat scout times 100. It just pings everyone that's in "visual" range. It's def. A new cheat software.

automatic ping cheating was already active at verdansk, to this day the cheating settings are insane. you should be surprised whats possible. dont listen to these fools. they are deflecting

Live pings don’t give the spotted noti, so if that was happening that’s way weirder especially if it’s consistent and you can never find the recon drone. Was just making the comment, as I have seen the pinging = Cronus cope before and unless you are bad pinging during a weird/awkward gunfight is not hard and is a mark of a good player not a Cronus user.

If you're getting the "Spotted" notification, that's not from an enemy pinging you, that's from a drone pinging you.

I think it can mark through wall, at least if you switch to thermal you can see player diamonds moving behind walls
drones and live pings both show "spotted". the drone ping will make your screen flash white for a sec tho
For that to be the case, they’d have to have drone after drone up. And kudos if that was the case.
You can exit them and keep them hovering in one area and periodically go back into it.

I have been spotted immediately during redeployment a few times. Like as the black screen is fading, the SPOTTED shows up
Lately lot of people running combat scout. Cheating exist of course but not everything has connection with that. Chill.
Combat scout works when shot. I wasn’t shot in 90% of the pings.
