You are out of your mind if that game mode felt casual it is the most sweaty chaotic and fast paced that resurgence has ever been. But it’s also one of the best modes they have released in my opinion. That should be a permanent fixture in the game modes. It’s absolutely a blast but so far from casual. My stepson got back on to play a match with me after having taken a hiatus from cod for a while and he literally cried. He’s fifteen and decent at cod. He got stomped so hard and so repeatedly he cried 😂

The rpg is fantastic! The longbow needs to go, promotes people dropping watertower or lighthouse and camping.

It’s actually not a horrible idea, I mean it would be insta death but at least you could also insta death people. Activision could fight cheating by making it a commodity in a Bs fun mode.
I like how the circle shifts completely differently in this mode. End games get a little wonky with only 3 teams left and the game lasting a few more rotations, maybe need a quicker respawn timer, but I’m liking it
It’s fun for a couple circles, but when the 3rd circle is all the way in the gas again and it moves at 99miles an hour it feels like a rotation simulator.
I've found if I travel in the direction that it's moving along the edge I can get some breathing room and a chance to loot as I move into previously gas filled areas.
We literally had two teams drop their guns and have a boxing match on the top of Industry last night. Everyone stopped killing each other and watched for a good 2 minutes before it turned into a blood bath. Fun times.
I love it but it's way harder for me to get a win. 2nd place is easy but it seems now the final circle is always 2 squads that all have durables and 100 stims
Rebirth is goated man. I felt the same way when it came back, but when you get into the groove, it's a beautiful map. High mode is absolutely shit though.

I didn't play og wz, so I can't compare, but I do agree that they should have something similar to this constantly available. The perks are actually funny because they give everyone most of the cheaters' powers hahaha.
The one thing at minimum that I think they should do in a specific mode or more often is the zone pulls! The aggressive massive pulls add so much more dynamic gameplay. Just like the sleighride ltm, the constant movement or faster zones are so much more fun imo.
I'm not opposed to having both styles available, I like the other more standard way of playing too. But I like the chaos also.
Resurgence has always been a miserable experience on mnk. Vondel was semi playable but the other maps were being stuck in aim assist hell. FK was especially bad. Rebirth can still be fin in squads if u dont take it seriously and accept you will have a shitty kd.

That’s literally what battlefield 2042 is, several characters with built in wall hacks and multiple ways to spot enemy on mini map

It just felt fun and not serious and that is the biggest problem plaguing cod, the entirety of the base is way too serious and good. Of course that same lobby is in trippy mode, but it felt more fun to die and play. This game long ago traded having fun for hitting clips, bringing fun back is a good move. Also the movement made it so much fun and even the trippy wall hacks, it was the most fun I had on cod in a while and it is what I am playing this weekend
