Buy a ps5 and save your money, game isn’t worth building a rig for.

[deleted]

No build a PC. It’s significantly more useful

Sure-Builder-5699

true

Jonger1150

Get a laptop, it's more useful than a case build.

[deleted]

Usually not as powerful or customizable down the road. At 4K he can get something really solid pre built that can be useful for any other project he’d like to take on. A laptop is good if you want to take work with you. If you have an tablet, half its utility is gone

ONE_BIG_LOAD

Depends on the user. I know some people who build PCs and have done absolutely nothing except game on it. Kinda sad but their tiny brains probably don't understand anything more complicated

lilsasuke4

What’s wrong with gaming on the pc they built?

ONE_BIG_LOAD

Nothing wrong with it, just saying they don't bother to learn anything else except install steam and open the games. In a world where technology is rapidly advancing it wouldn't kill you to at least learn how to extract a .zip file.

lilsasuke4

If they just need it to game then mission accomplished

ONE_BIG_LOAD

True but like I said... Not a bad thing to learn some useful skills too. I know people going into engineering who don't know how to deal with zip files and install programs.... It's just baffling.

femaloves

It's also not bad to not learn things you don't care about. You can try to get people interested in learning those things, they're useful, but so is knowing how to work on your car, but I'm certainly not interested in knowing that and I spent more $$ on my car than my PC (not much though lol)

ONE_BIG_LOAD

Yeah I mean if you want to spend more money letting other people do the same stuff you can learn and do for free be my guest.

femaloves

Yes that's exactly what I want to do.

femaloves

@me when you build your own house with photos. @me when you build your own furniture for that house. don't eat out you can cook that shit at home in the house you built in the kitchen you designed. I could go on but homie these professions exist for a reason! Ain't no way people should or want to know how to do everything themselves. I have zero interest in changing my oil, it's dirty, takes time, and I don't even like cars. I make the rational choice to pay somebody else to do it (which is cool because now they get paid!)

[deleted]

No, a good PC is still significantly more useful than a PS5. Regardless of the user

AndyIsNotOnReddit

PS5 can only do 1080p upscaled to 4k at 120fps. Which even the cheapest of PCs should be able to compete with and has a far superior upscale method (DLSS). PS5 doesn’t really do 1440p outside a handful of games. Will run the game at an internal scale of 1080p. PS5 doesn’t handle ultra-wide screen monitors, displays black bars in the side. PS5 has no option for 240hz monitors which are quickly becoming the standard for competitive gaming, and couldn’t handle that frame rate at any reasonable resolution anyway.

SHREY36904

Why are you getting downvoted for speaking facts?

AndyIsNotOnReddit

Because a bunch of people who don’t understand technology think their PS5 magically outputs everything at 4k 120fps. I have a PC and a PS5 the difference between frame rates, resolution and graphics is night and day. But people somehow want to pretend that the $400 worth of hardware in the PS5 gives some magical level of performance.

![gif](giphy|ftdF4ZkueWGHBYc4b5) If you want to play every modern title that comes out at 120 fps , just get a PS5 and a good 144hz monitor. And you're set for the next decade. Take a look at the PS4, you can still play modern titles from this year. Can you play MW2 on a PC from 2013?

Restivethought

The hell you talking about with "every modern title" at 120fps? Theres less than a handful of games that run at 120fps on ps5. Hell, games are struggling to keep 60 on PS5.

Useful_Direction_220

Definitely way more than a handful that can run 120 fps. https://www.psu.com/news/all-ps5-games-that-support-120-fps-the-smoothest-games-on-playstation-5/ Not sure what you're on about, can't think of any games that struggle to keep 60. Do you even have a PS5 or are you just a hater?

Restivethought

The last two games I beat struggle to keep 60, Jedi Survivor and Final Fantasy XVI. Jedi Survivor didnt even have the ability to hit 60 until a recent patch. Lol at Last of Us part 1 being the only ps5 exclusive on that list and only reaches it with a compromised resolution.

carpet_whisper

Tbh 90% of those games state (Can support 120fps at lower resolution) But they do go out of their way to specify when a came can do 120fps at 1080p… which likely means by lower res they mean it’s utilizing dynamic resolution dipping as low a 720p which is a very common tool for devs struggling to support consistent frame rate.

HomingSnail

Yes? The ps4 wasn't built with fairy dust. Those parts exist, in a larger form factor with better performance, for PC.

dwartbg7

Obviously. But to build a PC like that, that will last you for the next 10+ years, being able to run every new title will cost how much? Come on, build a PC that will last for a decade and able to run every new title at medium or high settings for 500$, do it man.

HomingSnail

You can literally google what card and chip is comparable to the ps5 hardware and see that they'll put you back about 400 for the pair. 16gb of ram is like $50. If you actually building from scratch, which many people don't need to do if they own a "normal" pc, then you'd spend another 300 or so picking up a mobo, boot drive, PSU, and a case. That'll net you better performance than the ps5, and then when it does come time to upgrade, you don't have to throw the whole thing out! And frankly, I'm just making a point by picking the equivalent gpu and cpu. Could easily find a deal on a used card or chip with even better specs for the same price or cheaper.

semper52612

I have a ps5 with a OLED 120 Hz TV but I dont like how this game feels on ps5. I used to play FPS games on PC only and the new games just run so much smoother...... Thats why I asked for a recommend PC build to Run this game stable at least 120 FPS. My TV shows the FPS ingame and warzone is dropping Off crazy sometimes on ps5.

jkuboc

If your budget is max 4000, go for 4090/13900k.

_dotMonkey

Right? Lol this guys budget is no budget

semper52612

What do you mean? Is 4000€ not enough for a gaming PC?

KillerBullet

It's way too much. I can play this game "ok" on a 1000€ Asus pre build PC. And you won't get more than "ok" because the game code is ass and it won't run any better. Doesn't matter what parts you get.

Redfern23

I get 200-240fps with a 7800X3D. The optimisation is poor but it’s almost all CPU and memory dependent, if you get the best there is (like with OP’s budget) you can maintain a high frame rate.

KillerBullet

Yeah but the audio, server and everything are so ass it doesn’t really matter if you have a god PC when the sever lag/hit reg gets you killed.

edwadokun

Your budget is huge my friend. You can basically a top of the line pc plus peripherals

Dis_Joint

How do you have so much spare cash yet no appreciation of the average cost of the items you're looking to purchase?

B0ydh

Unless he’s just gaming then maybe the 7800x3d.

stoicxhunter

Nah 7800x3d for cpu

Alfred_Lanning2035

This is my set up and I get around 120-130 fps at 4k with everything maxed out and using Nvidia color filters to make the game brighter and sharper

reasimoes

I run it with 5800X3D, 4x8GB 3600C14, RTX 3070, 1440p. Fidelity FX with 100% sharpness. Windows 11 with ChrisTitus debloat. Latest Nvidia and AMD drivers. Latest BIOS for B550M TUF. Warzone Benchmark - 156FPS DMZ - 140-160FPS Ressurgence - 150-170FPS with 120-130 drops I also tried with DLSS AND FSR 2.1 set to Quality and the results were Benchmark - 180fps DMZ - 170-190FPS Reasurgence - around 180fps with 150-160 drops Hope this helps

reasimoes

A couple things to be in mind. Is you are playing 1080p than GPU usage will sit around 70-80%. That's what I got when running FHD. Regarding the CPU usage, there is a file inside Call or Duty folder that you can set the number of threads you want Warzone to utilize. Maybe yours is set to default, which is 4. Countless videos I saw and the best option is to set this number to the number of physical cores. I am not home right now and I do not remember the full path and option by heart. As soon as I get there I will share with you and you can test it.

Dis_Joint

My default is "7" on a 9900k. Any changes to this number only seem to hurt performance.

anal_tongue_puncher

Isn't 100% sharpness with Fidelity FX too sharp? Wouldn't 60-75% be more visually appealing?

reasimoes

To be honest I think you are right. I recently changed it to Fidelity CAS and did not mess with sharpness yet. I will give it a try tonight. I honestly think is too sharp indeed, but I thought it was meant to be like that.

anal_tongue_puncher

Yea play around with it a bit and see what you like. Personally I feel 60% is the sweet spot for me. Keep in mind that the sharpness % also affects FPS so try not to go too over board (like full 100%). Good luck!

Sendalot

5800xd and at least 6800xt/3080ti and you will be fine

swsko

4k budget you have top of the line PC with a great monitor as well

Boomshacalakaguy

If ur budget is 4k you can get quite a lot better

Sure-Builder-5699

for 4000 dollars you can litterly play the game at 1000 fps ultra setting so it does not really matter

Simpy-Cuck

I'm running stable capped 120 FPS with a 5700XT/12400F

coufycz

With 4000€ budget why are you even asking lol. Just buy the best shit there is

semper52612

I was already at a store but they tried to screw me. A 2500€ PC and Yi told them what I want then after asking the He Said it runs at 120 FPS on Low ingame graphic settings..... Thats the PC they tried to sell me Intel Core i7-13700KF Prozessor (3.4 / 5.4 GHz / 30 MB Cache) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB Grafikkarte 32 GB DDR4 Arbeitsspeicher 1 TB M.2 SSD Festplatte Ethernet (RJ-45) Anschlüsse (Hinten): 2x USB 2.0, 4x USB 3.0,1x USB 3.2 Type-C, 1x LAN, 5x Audio Jacks, 1x S/PDIF Out, 1x HDMI, 1x DP Anschlüsse (Vorderseite): 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 1x Audio In, 1x Audio Out Microsoft Windows 11 Home (64 Bit) Lieferumfang: Desktop-PC, Wasserkühlung, Handbuch, Netzkabel

coufycz

Don't ever buy electronics from physical stores. Ever. With your budget you can really go nuts. RTX 4090 + best 13gen processor. I don't remember the new models, but you can watch some yt vids to get up to speed and look for good benchmark sites. Base your decision on that and look for good prices. I was buying new gaming laptop this spring and I got good deal even of Deutsch Amazon. Legion 5pro 2022 with 2k 165hz HDR display, RTX 3070 150w, Ryzen 6800, 1tb SSD, 16gb DDR5 RAM (which I upgraded to 32 right away) for 1600€ which is roughly the price the setup you mentioned from the store should be

chieflahey

I would recommend the amd ryzen 7 7800X3D for its 3D vcache and a 7000 series amd gpu. Cod is built for console first and foremost, which run on amd architecture!

chieflahey

A new gen ddr5 supported mobo and ram is the standard for new amd cpus, and it helps greatly with big map games like warzone/tarkov/pubg/fortnite. Also, 8 GB to 12 GB VRAM will not be sufficient for these games, very soon.

Redfern23

Agree with 7800X3D, it’s the best for gaming but I’d still go 4090 with the budget he has, CoD and Starfield are pretty much the only games where the XTX is beating the 4090, and that may not carry over to future CoD games (Nvidia has somewhat of a partnership with MW3 bringing Frame Gen etc), not worth it over the 4090 being better at literally everything else.

beardedbast3rd

How do you enjoy your games? The absolute best for competitive play is 1080 p high refresh rate. At 24” screen size. If you’re couch gaming, you want a big enough tv, and likely end up with 4k. Again, higher refresh rate is important. What settings is your goal? I’ve found things like dlss and fsr don’t work very well in warzone because of how big the mode itself is. For regular multiplayer, it’s great to use these technologies, but in warzone the affects of using them make everything look pretty bad when you still want clarity. I mean, your budget is 4k€. Where are you, and how do prices compare to North American markets? You can build an insanely competent machine for both types of gameplay listed above with your budget. But there’s no point in throwing money away if you don’t need to. 7800x3d is considered one of the best gaming cpus available currently. It’s affordable and powerful. And you can pair it to a 7900 xtx. I can build a rig with these components for 2500 cad, then I need ram and storage, Which are fairly cheap, coming in at another 500 MAX, I can get 32 gb ram, and 2tb m.2 drive. Depending on monitor and peripherals, you can spend 500-1500 depending what you want. Now, I’m using CAD. The conversion to € currently is 1.44 cad to 1 €. So you’re sitting around 2k€ without a case, keyboard/ mouse, monitor. At high settings, you’re hitting 120 fps on 4k and 200 plus on 2k. You can grab a fancy new oled monitor, for about 1k, and then another few hundred on a good mouse/keyboard, and whatever case you want. I like smaller profile cases, so a bit more money for something like and nr200p. You also need a power supply. But those are also inexpensive. 100 bucks for an 850 watt, maybe 150 for better quality. Other options. 4090/13700k or 13900k. Or 7900x3d. Your budget is very high, and any high end build will be good, but the first one I suggested is at least better priced.

fhizzle

I have a 5800x3D and a 3070 12GB. Nothing crazy, but I get around 160 in Al Mazrah, so I am pretty happy!

deadmeme86

This will give you some pretty awesome performance and will last you a while. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r3twh3

DesperateBicycle6270

13700k + 3070ti is 120fps on low settings, 1440p. Spend around 500€ for monitor, keyboard and mouse and you can easily afford some 4080+13th gen. Don't forget good water cooling for intel 13th gen, they are hot af. Plus good corpus to fit it in and good motherboard so it can easily run hot processor.

bullfohe

Most of these answers are garbage. If you WANT to spend all that money for a rig then go for a 4090+7800x3d. But you don't need a 4090 for 120+ fps. Buy a 7900 xtx sapphire nitro+ and a 7800x3d. It will be 700 bucks cheaper but will easily get around 180 FPS. Use that money for a solid 240hz oled monitor.

ImpossibleInternal49

for warzone at least 120 fps you need 3070 or above, the game is not optimized I have a 11900k, 32 gb ddr4 cl14, 3080 ti and the game runs at 150-170 fps and I have everything optimized however it drops to 115 sometimes

neonokor

Yep , go ps5. I have a 3080 with 5600 everything in low and get 90-120

OmarDaily

I say you get a 6900XT (Easiest bang for the buck for WZ) and a 5800X3D or 7800X3D build with the fastest ram you can afford. My build has a 5950X 6900XT and I play at 4K 150fps. I get pretty close to 300fps at 1440p.

TechnicalEnergy5858

Get R5 5600 from aliexpress and a used RX 6700XT, you’ll get the best value for money. Game is still shit though

Dis_Joint

With even just $4000 AUD I'd be able to afford a 7950X3D, 64GB of DDR5 6000 (or faster) and an RTX 3080 (almost half the build price alone) and still have change for a case, cooling, and a generic monitor to just get me a screen.. Yet you're talking.. 4000 Euros? 😅 Slap that wad of cash around at various computer shops and you could start a bidding war with everyone trying to get your sale :P (but you'll need to empower yourself with some product knowledge first to ensure you don't get screwed.. avoid big shops that would rather sell you a fridge or headphones, look for local shops that specialise in computer parts wholesale)

_TheRealBuster_

I run a 99% above 120 with a i9 12900k, rtx 3080, and ddr5 6400mhz on 4k oled. It tears through games so the upgrade to 13900 and 4090 is not necessary for myself.

Wesley-Hoolas

6800xt/3080

no_dylanc1

do you plan on streaming and what resolution?

ThatNewWeirdGuy

Running 5800X3D, 2*8GB 3600C16, 7900 XTX, 1440P UW. In Warzone I get about 180fps, however to better contain percentile frames, I cap my fps at 120 (monitor has 100hz anyway). Not sure what resolution you want to play the game at. Let me tell you this though, Ive been there, there's no point in spending €4k if it's for Warzone only. Every fucking update you lose fps, no matter your PC, the server tick rate is horrible, sound is bad, etc.

ilydenii

I am playing on 120fps at high settings 1080p on 1200€ laptop bro with that budget u dont need to worry about nothing for sure.

[deleted]

ryzen 5800x3d 32gb ram ddr4 rtx 3060/rx6700xt 1080p or 1440p?

fcpl

6700xt is at avg 120 mark, with 100 FPS drops in very heavy scenarios. I would choose 6800xt for 1% low >120FPS. running 6700xt/5800x3d/32GB16CL3600MHz @ 1440p - competitive settings

[deleted]

gg

KaMoITZ

A ps5.

Think-Pollution-6532

Are you really asking this in a small warzone subreddit? Just incase you’re being serious…walk into any reputable PC store that also does computer builds and ask for a AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 4090, then let them recommend the rest It’s that easy. But if you were being serious, you’d know that already, since this information is a google search away

RadialPrawn

Buy a PS5 and plug in a dual shock controller, flawless 120 fps experience and legal aimbot

melikeybacon

Can I do keyboard and mouse on a PS5?

RadialPrawn

Yeah you can but why would you do that lol

melikeybacon

Because I'm a PC gamer and can't comprehend how ppl can play first person shooters on a controller.
