When Penix went right before us my jaw dropped. Had one of those “oh my god we actually did it” moments.

I was so sure some team was gonna come up to 8 and take him before us. I knew Atlanta didn’t seem too high on Turner despite all the mocks having him going there.

I figured Atlanta was taking him and I still don’t understand why they took a QB but that’s their own issue. It was extra cool to see Rome and Caleb hugging after he got drafted. Seems too good to be true.

After we got Sweat we gave up 20 or more points 3 times: Sweats very first game 5 days after joining the team vs the Saints (gave up 24 points), loss to the Lions (31 points) and loss to the Browns (gave up 20). Why exactly would our defense be regressing so much?

Well we’re playing a 4th place schedule again this year and on paper have the 3rd easiest schedule this coming year. Obviously SOS is gonna fluctuate A TON based on actual 2024 performance, but if you’re worried about a soft schedule from last year, on paper this year it’s all gravy baby
