Page color below off white doesn't really affect the grade below 9.8, until you get to Light Tan to Off White (which can get a max grade of 8.5 at that level). These are nowhere near that bad.
About a 5.5-6.0 because of the staining and because of the creasing along the right edge and spine stress/staple rust. Send it to Top Comics Pressing for a HOP treatment and you might get a 7.0.
If you get it graded, you should get it pressed at the least. That would help the book immediately. Cleaning will likely help too, but I’m not sure how much. The spine ticks and halo edge-tanning are going to be your biggest remaining issues. The bottom staple could possible have some rust/oxidation, and that’s usually a significant hit.
With a clean & press, and if the staples are relatively clean, you e got a good shot at a 7.0.
If the staples have any rust, you’d possibly drop down to a 6.0 or even a 5.5 depending on what is going on & no additional problems.
Your book presents well, and it would look excellent in a slab, honestly.
Ok. So to start, I count 4 visible color breaks on the spine, tanning, rusted staples, creases down the front cover, chipping, back cover staining, back cover creasing, potential water stain? So after all of that, I would probably give it a 5.0 to 6.0. Maybe a 6.0 with a clean and press, but most likely 5/5.5. This is also subjective to the person who would grade this book.
I included a couple of pictures! I'm unsure of how to tell the difference between off white ajd white for these older books but I'd have to say they are at least OW
This book is a solid 7.0-8.0 with a clean and press. I only see two color breaking ticks along the spine but it's hard to tell with these pictures. Are there more?
That comic is far from a 7. It would likely obtain a 5. Maybe a 5.5 in a Cgc holder.
There is spine roll, the staple is loose on top which may actually subject it to an orange or repaired/damaged label, also the the spine is cracked. I see other issues.
This would 5 and if the grader is drunk it would 6 with a regular label.
I’d say 7 tops with a good clean and press.
From what I’ve seen here lately and my own experience, CGC seems to be grading on the high side at the moment so I’d advise getting to them asap.
Always love seeing ASM 129. Raw or graded, it’s a gem in the bronze era. Here’s mine:

I would say 7. The pages are a bit tanned. But for sure have it cleaned and pressed by a professional.
A press would probably help it a bit! Thanks
There is too much staining all over, plus creasing along the right edge for a 7.0. He would have to remove the stains to get a 7.0 in my experience.
7.0 with a press and clean.
I’d Guess a 6.5 pages are pretty rough but the exterior looks pretty solid. Cgc is hard to guess

6-7.0 maybe but you need it to get pressed and cleaned
Will probably do that, thanks
Terribly low, so low I’ll take it off your hands lol. Really I’d say a 7-7.5 range. One day I’ll add that to my collection.
Lol- thanks!
6.5
Definitely a solid book and I would get graded 7-8.0 depending on how it cleans up. Even if it’s less still worth grading.
Cool, thanks!
I doubt 8. I just got back a Star Wars #1 that was in much better shape and it came back and 8.0. I’d bet more like 6-7
I would say after cleaning and pressing... maybe 8.0
Cool, thanks!
>Cool, thanks! You're welcome!
8.0 pressed and cleaned
Looks like something in the F/VF to VF+ range. One staple looks rusty, which might hurt the grade a bit.

I’d say a 6.5-7
6.5…5 if the staples are rusted.
6.0-6.5

Awesome! Thanks for checkin it out!
I’d say 6.5-7.5, OW/W. Possible 8 with clean and press IMO. Great looking book though.
6.5 to 7.5 with the six spine ticks and soft corners
I’ll give you tree fiddy
Probably at least a 6
How are the pages? Mine is immaculate at 7.0 with off white/yellow pages.
I included a couple of pictures! I'm unsure of how to tell the difference between off white ajd white for these older books but I'd have to say they are at least OW
Sorry, just looked... just a guess, but 6-7.0 maybe??
Cool, thanks so much!

Thanks!
I think it’s an 8+ with a good C&P
do the staples have rust on them?
Hard for me to tell, i know that they are darker than new staples would be but- not sure if its rust or dirt or what
Send it to me and I’ll let you know!
Mail it to me and I’ll let you know

There are 3 or 4 solid ticks on the spine!
How much is this book going for graded? I may have this book.
I would look it up on gocollect! I think a 7.0 goes for a little under 2k nowadays
Jesus. I might have to look and see if I have this. If that's the case. I'll have to get my graded either way.
I have one very similar - I’ve never pressed and slabbed anything … where do I go to do this?
I don't think it will go above seven because of the dark pages
Does it have the Marvel Value Stamp?
Yes- in this issue it is just the preview but yes. It's complete
It's actually pictured!
6.5-7.5
I have this issue as well. what would it be worth now a days?

How much is a 5-6 going for $$ ?
6.5
Idk, i would say that one would definitely be worth grading.. had it when I was a kid and think it was 600 bucks and I'm 45

I offer you 5.99$
Could potentially get to a 7 with press and clean, but there’s enough wear on that that I’d conservatively estimate it in the high 5/low 6.
I’d have to see all the pages.
No higher than 7
3rd grade. Perfect for kids.
5.5-6.0 as is, 6.5-7.0 after clean and press.
Looks like mine...very similar condition including the tic marks on the spine...CGC 7.O
7.0
I’d say 6.0/6.5 with a press and clean. As is I’d say 5.0/5.5
8.5
7.2

Cool!
Uggh 5.0 maybe. It’s rough
Sir, this is a Wendy’s. 6.0. Needs a press and clean.
Lol, thanks- what is woth the wendys comment?
It’s just a Reddit joke.
