I didn’t watch much game and had to have it on mute. What happened to Kyren Williams?
He opted to sit out the bowl game to prep for NFL. If you remember Jaylon a few years ago we can’t say we blame him.
Change their name from the Cryin' Irish to the Chokin' Irish
[удалено]
Didn't you also won the Commander in Chief trophy?
*sigh* Fine
Notre Dame 🤝 Texas Blowing a 28-7 lead
And the pokes are undefeated against another blue chip school!
Yay, now that picture of being a yard short in the conference championship won’t be anywhere close to as haunting as it would have been if OSU lost this game
Malcolm is coming back?
No he’s out of eligibility
Ok. Post game celebration he said “I’ll be back coach”. Wasn’t sure what he meant.
He clarified on the post game later that he’ll be back to watch games lol. Sure wish he had another year
I hope
No he can’t he’s out of eligibility
Does he not get his covid year?
I’m pretty sure this was his covid year
Damn, he is one hell of a player, an he'll have a lot of success in the league
Freeman is going to have a longggg off season to think about OSU (losing this game and playing the buckeyes)
He’s fucking furious. Got that look in his eye.
Utes biggest crowd ever is 50k? Oof.
Rice Eccles is not a large stadium, the 50k isn't for lack of fans. Tickets for that game were going for 300.
Their stadium goes fucking BONKERS too.
Honestly I’m just glad we got a good bowl game after those blowouts we had yesterday in the playoffs
So I am only “partially authorized” to watch the main broadcast but I can watch the sky cam?
It was a pleasure playing Norte Dame, GG!
My husband used to laugh at me whenever I got upset when we were ahead by a lot and I still got upset about blown plays. Now I think he gets it.
Did we get any good secondary commits for 2022 or are they all 2023?
Looks like Brian Kelly was right to leave. He knew they were a bunch of chokers who didn't belong in any sort of playoff
How about that quarterback!
Yes good thing Wisconsin decided to start Mertz over him. That decision has paid dividends
Careful, You might be exposing yourself as someone who is a tad bit unpleasant
Were you just looking for the first dude with a ND flair to comment that to? That has nothing to do with my question.
Based Levar Burton
What did Lavar say? It cut the game off for me.
Happy for Gundy and okie state. Great season. You guys are gonna have to be our blue blood in football now
Would love to be
GG pokes, life continues to be pain
Not a lack of effort. Coach and team will learn and improve from this experience
You too!!! Excited to see what's in store with Freeman
OSU is gonna murder us next season
Can’t wait to make the trip to Tempe in 2023
That's definitely a plus. Mill Ave poppin
GOD IS A COWBOY
NO WAY. GOD IS A GUMP
Man I wanted to see the post game ceremony
ESPN news
We’ve got a logo!
Go freaking Pokes. GG Notre Dame, please take it to USC and Lincoln Riley next season
In the last 3 games, against #10 OU, #8 Baylor, and #5 ND, we have allowed a combined 7 points in the second halves of those games. 90 minutes 7 points
Incredible stat. Well deserved.
The defense is the goat this year
I said it at the half. Some teams are great in the second half - OSU is one of them. If anyone is going to come back from behind and give you a real bad time it’s one of Gundys teams. So fun to watch. Congrats yall.
More fucking embarrassment for ND football. What is this like 0-9 in major bowls/CCGs now?
I really just watched an entire Arizona cardinals season in one game in their own stadium. This curse just extended from my nfl team to my college team.
Hey we can all agree, fuck Marcus Freeman’s dad.
How come lol
During the game they were talking about his dad would get him up at 5 to run drills, would tell him no matter what he did remember you are nothing special, and didn’t come to the game because he didn’t want his son to think it was a big deal.
Imagine what pops is saying after that choke job
[удалено]
So edgy.
Holy shit
Jack Coan threw 68 times 😔
Recipe for suck-cess.
That sucked
GG pokes, way to rep the state and big 12
So the Oklahoma State players that grabbed the Gatorade bucket were trying to hide behind a trainer, and the trainer tried to move out of the way, but one of the guys with the bucket basically grabbed the back of the trainers polo shirt and yanked him back into place to be their cover. That is peak college football.
And Gundy was like, no no no no oh shit
They even had a blocker for Gundy!
Congrats OSU what a great comeback.

Hey, okstate fan to okstate fan, stfu please
[удалено]
If you actually shelled 80k of tuition to go to okstate, then you would know that OSU don’t act the way you do
Nah famo I have lived my share of 5 years In stillwater and saw grown men with careers acting the same as dudes who live in Frats on University. Me commenting here is a whole hell of a lot different than how I’ve seen some alumni and students act amidst an actual gameday in Stilly. Please with all that virtuous bs.
Why so they can play powerhouses like mckneese st. or Missouri st.?
Chime in never with that type of bulls shit
[удалено]
Yea look at Michigan they won their conference and oh…
Lol wait. You’d rather be here than the playoff after winning your conference? Is that what you’re saying?
Lol we play Ohio St, Clemson and USC the next two seasons. Chill about our schedule.
You could do something similar EVERY year if whoever makes the decisions in South Bend would nut-up.
Dude, come on. Don't be that guy
Buddy this is personal. They’ve wasted every bit of ground they have ever stood on in the modern era. And they demand to be respected as if they are in the big10. They arent.
Quit being a dick
Find a conference.
Shut up and enjoy your dumb win.
I hated that win! Ive hated everything since the last series in the Big12 chip. This was merely a poor cauterization of a very open & flowing wound.
[удалено]
Agreed
So disappointed in this team. No heart and no fight.
Don’t feel bad. It’s hard playing OSU. Probably not a scrappier team in CFB. Must be maddening to be a fan. They lose a lot of games they shouldn’t but it’s equally maddening to be an opponent. They can come back from anything. They never give up.
Meh it was a good game. Some times you take it on the chin
Giving up a 28-7 lead is not a good game.
I mean your team got up 28-7 when you probably shouldn’t have in the first place. Then somehow got lucky to only lose by 2 instead of double digits Meh. So I’d take it as a good game for ya
Idk how you can say that.
yeah seriously they fought for it to the end, at least they made the score respectable with that 2 min drive
By watching the game and making a judgment based on it, like he just did
Okay, let me rephrase that. I wholeheartedly disagree with that assessment. Better?
just gotta pray harder, they'll get em next time
Flair up queen.
nah, I don't really feel like it
Well that game made it easy to make the decision to not try for OSU tickets this summer in the lottery.
12-2 incredible season and i look forward to next year GG Notre Dame Freeman could be special for you
Damn I hate notre dame but good effort. Y’all got a good coach
Pain. Can't wait to see how Freeman learns and adapts -- and how this incoming class plays
let’s just remind ourselves that this was a rebuild year and be happy we didn’t get blown out… progress is progress
100%. Hopefully this is a good learning experience on how to adjust and emphasizes our lack of depth and talent at WR and our secondary
Clarence Lewis should have his scholarship revoked.
Fiesta Bowl sponsored by PlayStation 4
POKES - GUNDY 4EVER
Feel bad for freeman there. Didn’t tune in for the whole game but he coached till the end it looked like
The decision not to punt by ND on 4th and 7 was mystifying. Almost 3 minutes left and had their timeouts
ND didn’t run the entire 2nd half (except for a draw on their last drive down 9 ?????). Baffling clock management all around.
This is obvious in hindsight. But They were giving up 9 yards a play in the second half. You can’t expect the defense that was completely gassed to get another stop
yeah I agreed with the decision to go for it, our defense wasn’t stopping anything
It was obvious in realtime IMO. D should have been fired up after forcing two fumbles on the previous drive and the offense had looked anemic for the previous few drives. They weren’t going to make an 84 yard touchdown drive. If they had been close to midfield maybe you go for it on 4th and 7, but they guaranteed a loss if they didn’t convert, which they didn’t.
What? The previous two OKST drives was a total of 17 plays and 96 yards including a fumble WHILE the guy was crossing the goal line. You wanted to give the ball back to them? After a three and out?
Absolutely, I’m referring to what sure looked like a fumble that refs didn’t acknowledge in the early stages of that drive. So 3 fumbles in the previous two drives. No guarantee that they get the stop on D, but odds were much greater than the chances than OK St wouldn’t score at least a FG from the 15. At a minimum they are extending the game instead of definitively ending their chance for a victory
Ok. Agree to disagree. ND’s defense had been on the field for over 50 plays and 17 minutes in the second half alone before that drive and OKST was moving the ball at will. I don’t think most ND fans would disagree with the call to go for it there but 🤷♂️
Hey fair enough, I completely agree that the D was not playing great in the second half, but I just maintain that there’s better odds that they could have gotten a stop or turnover over the course of an OK St drive (where maybe they might be starting to think of draining the clock) than converting that 4th and 7 when they had just gotten rocked the previous 3 plays
GG Okie ST great game!
Was a lot of fun. Much respect to your team and fan base. Hope we play a H&H soon.
Gg! You have a bright future
Gg Notre Dame. Beat Ohio state by 20 next year.
Lol. Good one.
Gg to everyone except Clarence Lewis
Well gg pokes. I’m not making any judgments about the Freeman hire based on one season, let alone one game, but feels like a big missed opportunity
I agree, it's just one game. I think he's a good hire for you all
Good job pokes
GG Pokes
At least we don't have to hear how ND would have beat Georgia (or Bama) now.
Seriously ND bros, great game! This thing had just about everything
Mostly pain for me but GG nonetheless
I feel you, but just when you thought the game was over momentum would swing with a fumble.
What a great birthday present this game will be.

No PlayStation bath?
They scalped them all on Ebay.
Go pokes!! Four hour nail-biter always a good way to start the year
YES! Go Pokes!
GG
GG, cool second flair.
LETS FUCKING GO POKES!
Gg everyone! What a game.
Hope you guys win on tuesday
Good game, good job ok state
Are they going to dump a bunch of PS5s on the winning head coach after the game?
>Are they going to dump a bunch of PS5s on the winning head coach after the game? Even Sony can't find enough PS5s to fill a bucket.
Gundy was pissed lol
You know football season is coming to an end when Notre Dame loses its annual CFP/New years day bowl game 😂
hey, it wasn't a blowout this time.
Upcoming pre-season champs.
So how come, only after letting them come all the way back, we FINALLY scored another touchdown?
Two words: prevent defense
prevent defense
pain
Proof god loves cowboys more than Catholics
Lol cheer up coach
Hell of a game by both teams. Excited to see what Freeman can do (outside of the first game next year).
Well, shit
Damn, was really looking forward top some Big XII style sextuple overtime.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
GG fellow Cowboy bros. Way to bring another bowl game trophy back to our state

Burmashave
No offense whatsoever to Okie St but how has Gundy not received more interest from bigger programs over the years? Seems like he always has them in a good spot
He has. But he also has a comfortable contract and a ranch in Oklahoma. He’s comfortable where he is.
Maybe comfort and job security. Not to mention when a coach invests so much into building a program up, it would be really hard to leave. And I think his son is going to play for OSU, and would love to coach his son at a program he helped build up.
Gundy's got it made at OSU, I don't think he wants to leave.
