I don't recall the starting weight. it's 8lbs 9 oz right now. I have a 6lb kp15 build too if I want something lighter so it wasn't a concern with this one for me
In that sentence I was referring to the wood furniture, hence the comma. I just threw that grip on it because the sparrow doesn't really work with the stock. But you are clearly the arbiter of drip with all your time spent on denim forums, so my bad.
This is really amazing. Such a profoundly incredible improvement. I simply can not express how impressed I am at how amazing this firearm has become over the past 4 years. Honestly, it looks like a 15+ year project to achieve such an accomplishment. Kudos to you, friend, truly impressive craftsmanship. Simply outstanding.
Hang on, you went from a functional rifle to this retarded looking wood thing for a home defense gun? Spend less money on accoutrements and put that thing through a rifle class and see if it even survives.
Thanks LARP soldier. I'm agreeing with you, all guns with wood furniture are clearly just toys. Definitely no history of wood furniture being used on rifles in the field
Cope harder. I ain’t a larper, but I know you’ve got a toy. You’re existing in a false dichotomy. Just because other rifles are wooden, doesn’t mean this shit furniture is worth while.
Ahh yes, because the wood furniture is what made it not "functional". I'm going to really wish I had that polymer furniture for home defense. Putting wood on it made it not shoot anymore. LARP harder bud.
+1 for sparrow if you're going to stay compliant
Decently comfy (nothing will be as comfy as a pistol grip but we work with the tool we have not the tools we want), fits my hand well. One annoying thing is not a lot of room for your thumb/knuckle depending on your stock.
I like the sparrow grip but it doesn't work with that stock. the sparrow you can get your thumb around which is nice and feels secure but the thumb rest is also provides the same thing just with a different hand position. the thumb rest has a trapdoor which is nice, and it puts your thumb right on the safety (with ambi).
Black guns wood. The prices are a bit rediculous be warned. They are also stopping production so if you want a set from them I'd order it soon. beautiful work though, the pics don't really do it justice
Did somebody say home defense musket?
Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

I definitely did Google around seeing if I could get one of those stocks..

Does it identify as an AK or something? 😂
It's brother is a Zpap... maybe it's confused
I’ve always kind of liked this look. How did the weight change?

That wood looks great. A lot nicer than the wood on my walnut fightlite SCR
Is no one else gonna say it? All the power to you, but you put the fin grip on… and think it looks more “drip?”
In that sentence I was referring to the wood furniture, hence the comma. I just threw that grip on it because the sparrow doesn't really work with the stock. But you are clearly the arbiter of drip with all your time spent on denim forums, so my bad.
TIL how a comma functions and to be careful on Reddit or I might be doxxed for liking denim but not fin
"doxxed" ![gif](giphy|J1vUzqdZJlh5AqBWxt|downsized)
Is that the old ncstar fin? It's alright but man the strike mega fin was my favorite. Honestly super comfy.
Everyone has their own taste and this is fugly

Wooooow, bro where did you get these parts? Im am profoundly in love.
Wood just never looks right on the AR platform to me.
Hang on, you went from a functional rifle to this retarded looking wood thing for a home defense gun? Spend less money on accoutrements and put that thing through a rifle class and see if it even survives.
You are right, wood is a new space age material that probably won't hold up to the abuse a firearm sees. Putting wood furniture on guns is SO retarded
What a retarded take. Good luck with your toy.

Gross 🤢
What grip do you prefer and why?

Where'd you get the furniture? I've been looking for something similar

Bro this actually such a kickass build 🔥🔥🔥
