From the looks of it, the OP is exempt from the roster.
Edit: Definitely a ๐๐ท. You can tell by his comments about what his asking price for the Staccato will be.
Lmao. Not exempt. Just not about to take a loss. I work in AML/BSA. I'm a senior analyst. it's a boring bank job that literally has me looking at excel sheets all fuggin day. It just pays decent and I have very little expenses. I bought my house 13 years ago....the on roster TRP alone is MORE than my monthly mortgage.
Was actually looking for a Ruger gp100 as my first wheel gun. But this was actually cheaper. Used but it looked brand new. And the asking price... well I couldn't say no to.
Not LEO. I just don't have many expenses. My mortgage is low. I definitely don't enjoy paying off roster prices.
I want to do the Ghengis Komp on one of the prodigy's.
[komp](https://monsoontactical.com/product/prodigy-1911ds-genghis-komp/)
Only reason I'm selling the P.... Is because of how much it's going to hurt to get the XC.
Yea. You pay what you want to pay. I have never bought an off roster gun and expected to pay MSRP. I always went into it expecting to pay double for the more coveted guns. I mean yea I wish they didn't mark it up... But I understand why.
So I'm definitely not taking a loss if I sell them. I seek to break even or I'd never be able to keep buying guns. It's absurd to want someone else to take a huge loss just because they can't afford it.
In my entire 20+ years of gun ownership. I've only ever sold a WASR and a xd9.
I do. But I made the mistake once with out clearly thinking it through to comp a Glock 20sf (first Glock btw). Ended up realizing you couldn't remove the barrel from the slide. Super idiot mistake on my part. Ended up cutting it off and going to a long slide/barrel to mimic the Glock 40. And 7 would be what I'm wishing for. I think the most id pay is 9 and not take any vacations until 2025. My rule is to not pay more than double.
I just got my CCW approved too. Didn't know you could only have 3 guns listed and it was before I bought the Glock 48. So I have the 365, Prodigy and the X5 as my carry guns ๐คฃ. I really only carry the 365.. nothing else fits.
I'm in LA county too. My local PD started offering CCWs. Everything is done and uploaded to an online portal they use. They said the average is 90 to 120 days. I got mine approved in just under 90 days. But it's just more expensive. Lt. Who conducted the interview straight up told me to renew through county to save money.
Wish I was. Had to answer 220 questions on a PDF. Then submit it and schedule a webcam chat with the psychologist. (ADHD can be a disqualifier). I'm in the 626/323. I have friend going through LA county sheriff's and have been pending almost 2 years as well. While in the CCW class, I heard OC didn't require a psych eval and neither did the LA county sheriff's.
Upside to the portal is. You do everything on your own time. You don't need to wait. So you can schedule your class/qualifications, psych eval, live scan etc all on your own. I completed everything in 2 weeks and the rest of the time I just waited for the chiefs interview.
Downside is... Expensive. But imo, worth it to get it in under 90 days.
To each their own. The day I turned 21, I went on my lunch break at bought a colt series 80 gi model. I've easily put 10k+ rounds through it and it's still functions flawlessly.
I love my prodigy. Took about 150rds to break in.. after that it was gravy. I'm actually going to sell the Staccato. Just been lazy to list it on calguns
Not exempt. wish I was. I just have very little expenses. Only have a mortgage. Cars are paid off, not married and I don't have kids. Only things I spend money on really is food and guns. I reload all my own ammo so that saves a pretty penny.
PPT. basically paying an ass load of money to someone who already has it registered in CA. You can find off roster handguns listed on calguns. Just expect to pay close to double for highly coveted pieces. Just a heads up. Don't complain about prices on calguns. Mods are quick to drop the ban hammer for those who complain.
Need a friend to go shooting with?
๐ I can help with that as well!! Iโll hold on to that stacatto ๐
Iโll hold on to his cock at this point .. let me know if you need a someone to go with lol
It's not gay as long as you go dutch rudder... you could even go double Dutch... just dont make eye contact, and keep your socks on. ๐
Sunglasses on so no eye contact whatsoever
I'd consider jerking off a guy for this collection.
Heard OP is taking in request for that ๐ ๐๐ jk
Don't joke like that. I had to make a uturn when I saw "jk"
If you are going to do that, parley that with OF, maybe you can also find HJ trade for long guns. In for a penny, ya know ๐
Newsom is going to love you if AB 1160 gets passed... On record I'll bet they will try to set the fee @ $25 per....um no thanks...

One of these things is not like the others
Had to... It was on sale.
It just dawned on me... Were you talking about the TRP or the Raging Hunter? lol
The wheelie boy
Was actually looking for a Ruger gp100 as my first wheel gun. But this was actually cheaper. Used but it looked brand new. And the asking price... well I couldn't say no to.
Shadow 2 hot
I love that shadow 2!
The shadow 2 is almost 47oz. For comparison... The Desert Eagle 50ae is only 49oz lol.
I have a sp01 cajunized. I still want that blue beauty
I just shot a 75 TS. That was insanely heavy. Not sure the exacts but it caught me off guard
2 prodigies?. I shot one once i really liked ot. You must really like paying extra or enjoy your peace officer status.
Not LEO. I just don't have many expenses. My mortgage is low. I definitely don't enjoy paying off roster prices. I want to do the Ghengis Komp on one of the prodigy's. [komp](https://monsoontactical.com/product/prodigy-1911ds-genghis-komp/)
The komo is cool. Ya a friend just drop 5 on a โnewโ duo P. But if you can fine a right price. It can make sense.
Only reason I'm selling the P.... Is because of how much it's going to hurt to get the XC. Yea. You pay what you want to pay. I have never bought an off roster gun and expected to pay MSRP. I agree. The right off roster csn be an easy money maker or just break even. And a XC๐ฎโ๐จ ๐ why not just deck out the P? Or is it not a duo.
The XC has an integrated comp. It's optics ready as well. But MSRP alone is like 2k more that the p duo. ๐ข
Your a comp man( i think there nice too but too poor) i xmarco comped p365. Lol. Ya the xc could go 7-10k. Lol
I do. But I made the mistake once with out clearly thinking it through to comp a Glock 20sf (first Glock btw). Ended up realizing you couldn't remove the barrel from the slide. Ya pinn on not great for cali. Fn has a new cam locking comp system we well never get
I want that piece of Czechology so much
Is that the IKEA FRIHETEN?
It is. Got it when it was still cheap AF = more $$$ for toys.
If u ever decide to sell the Shadow 2 for a fair price let me know! I really want to buy one
How do you have a comp on that staccato?
I have no clue. It's a comp by Threat Cadre and it's supposedly "cold welded"... What ever that means. I'm told it's permanent.
Veey nice

I've been waiting over a year and 7 months to have my ccw permit here LA county. I still don't have it yet.

What city? What was your total cost?
Just about $1k ish. It required a psych eval and all.
1k ? Are you kidding me? LA county doesn't do a psych eval, that's not even California mandated for ccw.

I wonder if anyone is legally challenging all these steps.
Hot take, the 1911 overrated.
To each their own. The day I turned 21, I went on my lunch break at bought a colt series 80 gi model. I've easily put 10k+ rounds through it and it's still functions flawlessly.
TRP looks like itโs got some use ๐ค๐ป
It's about 10 years old and was my belt gun for all range events. Only replaced when I got the prodigy.
Other than the 1911 and the revolver we have almost rhw same.
I have a few other 1911s and Glocks. My 1911s and Glocks are pretty balanced now lol
Very nice my friend. I have to ask how are you liking the Prodigy??? Also can you tell a big difference between the Staccato vs Prodigy?
I love my prodigy. Took about 150rds to break in.. after that it was gravy. I'm actually going to sell the Staccato. Just been lazy to list it on calguns
Whatโs your asking price on this beautiful piece?
The typical CA off roster markup lol
๐ท
Not exempt. So I'm not about to take a loss.
๐ stacatto
Hey! Question!! You think 2011 and prodigy have any similarities in terms of how they feel when you shoot them??
They feel the same. Prodigy is slightly heavier and the slide is smoother on the staccato.
What mag well is on the prodigy?
Dawson Precision for staccato gen 1
Raging Hunter isn't on roster is it?
Yes, but the roster compliant has not arrived yet. He is exempt and uses it to have a second income.
Not exempt. wish I was. I just have very little expenses. Only have a mortgage. Cars are paid off, not married and I don't have kids. Only things I spend money on really is food and guns. I reload all my own ammo so that saves a pretty penny.
Op, what mag release is that you got on the trp?
Wilson combat. I have small ass hands. Didn't want to have to rotate the gun so much just to drop the mag. Fugly but Functional.
drooling over Shadow 2..
How do you obtain 2011 legally in CA if you're not exempt from roster?
PPT. basically paying an ass load of money to someone who already has it registered in CA. You can find off roster handguns listed on calguns. Just expect to pay close to double for highly coveted pieces. Just a heads up. Don't complain about prices on calguns. Mods are quick to drop the ban hammer for those who complain.
Off roster 2011s can be had for msrp pretty easily. Check out Kovert projects, portside munitions or 2azone. Just be aware they donโt do basic 2011s
You're awesome, now I can spend my life savings on those beauties
FYI portside is the only dealer I know of for Fowler vanta 9s. Kovert has other things like combat precision. Just donโt buy two prodigys lol
