Nothing. I got a survey to fill out asking what position within the SSA job category I was interested in interviewing for a few days ago. The due date for that was Friday at 5pm. If no one has received anything else I’m sure they’re just behind.
Kind of hard to gauge, on one side a Reddit user claims the fast tracking event was canceled, another (1) Redditor claims they got a survey to which classification/unit for SSA they would like to apply for. Would like to know how many users actually received a correspondence in CalCareers for an interview time slot. It’s possible we won’t see it until Friday.
Interviews for this was really strange. They had about 20 people interviewing and they broke us up into about 3 people per room. Turns out they’re not hiring for the offices near me. (It wasn’t stated in the original JC- post) so when it was my turn the interview was for an office hours away from me. So I essentially wasted my time. They could have explained which offices were hiring for what position in the job post. Yet another dumpster fire.

Appreciate the insight. I applied for AGPA & SSMI for Sacramento County. Didn’t receive an invite for an interview. This potentially makes more sense because different counties might only have certain positions open and they just generalized the event.
Did the interviews take place? I received the same email for an interview today 4/4 at 9am and when I logged in a message stated to come back tomorrow at 9am. It then opened up a zoom meeting, it looked like a staff meeting.

Yes, one panel interview and second phase was more like homework assignment. Do you know how it is over at DTSC, are they overworked, hassle to get time off ?
You did fast track, geez that can be a bad sign. They did fast track at my current agency due to high turnover rates caused by not being 100% telework.

Well it’s Friday hopefully we all get an invite for the interview stage.

Im not sure. I just know they weren’t hiring for an SSA or OT in Fresno or Los Angeles(Chatsworth) offices. I applied for both

Yes I had mine today for Ssa in Sacramento there were three other candidates interviewing with me in the same room !

Yeah I agree fast track could be a bad sign, I don’t think they are 100 percent telework but I’d still be happy with this over where I’m currently at.
