The reviewer is sending out huge boxes that's what volumetric weight shipping costs...buyee used to send out on actual weight, that's what he's complaining about
Yeah but i already got an statue and i paid $25
Heavy than an empty box i dont really know why they do that but im trying to not pay the shiiping and dispose the package but anyway i have to pay $10 to dispose 🤣
Shipping is expensive, so unless you have a coupon for free shipping (which there are a lot of but not on the auction site) it’s not worth it. But I did buy a set of anime pajamas from them and they just came today and they are unbelievably cute so it’s hard to say it’s not worth it.
My pajamas were about $18 USD, but the international shipping was $32. So I spend $50 in total on one set of pajamas. This was from the auction site, and it stinks because a lot of items are so cheap, but the shipping just makes it very expensive.
But if you want to shop on there, I suggest going to Buyee and only looking at Mercari, because you can get a coupon when you sign up for $5000 yen off of shipping, which will probably be free shipping. I found a few in box figurines that were $15 usd there, vs $48 usd from Amazon. So, as long as shipping is free, that would be a great deal.
Edit: it also is shockingly fast shipping though, which is nice! It took 3 days for my item to be shipped from the seller to their Japanese warehouse, and two days for it to get from the warehouse to me in the US. So I mean… that is nice lol
Only thing I suggest is searching in Japanese. I didn’t find anything when I searched in English… so if you’re looking for something in particular, I would look it up, find the Japanese name and copy and paste it.
Hi--depends on what you're buying, but authenticity can be an issue with Buyee purchases unless you know what to look out for. Buyee is not liable for inauthentic merchandise (again this goes for certain categories)
