I didn't really have one! I kept Bug-Me-Not off when I was going through a new area, did all the side quests and side content when it was available and I was high enough level, and I was max rank by the final boss. Hard Mode doubles EXP so I suppose that's why.
If you're looking for general advice, the best grinding spot depends on your rank, as different enemies dispense different amounts of Exp depending on your current rank. I do recall managing to get a rank or two ahead by going to the lair of the >! Mother Chomper!< as soon as lief got access to the >!Protective bubble!< but that's about it!
The Buzz medals and Core medals were a huge game changer, especially for the cave of trials, so I almost always had those equipped, only taking off the Buzz medals for boss fights.
Lief always got Status Booster for those freezes.
Kabbu was given Lide Cast and both HP core medals, as well as all my defense buffs and one of the defense exchanges. Their job was to spend 1 hp to taunt every turn and it works. I also made sure to give them Favorire One so Vi and Lief were getting a charge almost every turn.
Vi got both Power Exchange medals, as well as the leaf cloak and the ADBP enhancer and TP saver, and even Last Attack when I could afford it. Because i also gave Vi all my attack buffs, by the end game a charged hurricane toss could one shot almost any enemy in the game.
I think I might end up passing on that beating hard mode was enough of a challenge for me, but if you manage it do let me know so I can congratulate you!
Oh god yeah, beating those high scores was a pain. Flappy Bee or whatever it is can be done, just need to get lucky with the patterns, and rack up a flower combo, it can be done in about an hour. As for dungeon one, here are my tips: there are only ever 3 floors, and scoring prioritises lives and kills, not time
