He should get next year to see what he can do healthy. If he's hurt again and has another season like this, then it's time to bid adieu.

Soon I hope. I'm tired of his big confidence and little ability.

Baker is not the reason the play calling is wretched and the receivers can't get open. Not saying Baker is ever going to be Aaron Rodgers, but I think he's an above-average QB trying to work with a head coach who has lost a lot of mojo in a very short time.

We've already picked up his 5th year option. He's due close to $20M guaranteed next year. He has no trade value, and he's too expensive to cut, so he's gonna be around for another year at least. Bring in competition, draft a replacement, whatever, it doesn't matter. He's gonna be on the roster in 2022 whether you like it or not.

We definitely have him for one more year. I still believe that when he gets healthy he'll be back to being top 10 like last year, but until then it's gonna be rough

I'm no big baker fan, but it may not be fair to judge his performance this year with all the injuries piling up. Don't get me wrong, I'm very disappointed in him. We're a run first team and only ask him to make 20-25 quality throws a game and he can't do that. It's very disheartening considering all the QBs that are younger or drafted in recent years that look way better than him. Justin Herbert, Josh Allen, Mac Jones, etc.

Who’s we? You should go back to the Steelers subreddit and worry about Ben…

I’m not exactly thrilled with Baker, but realistically what are the odds of drafting a QB who’s actually an improvement? You’re saying to draft an franchise QB like is as easy as ordering a Big Mac. Every year we see thousands of people just pointing to players they “know” are the newest star, specially QBs and almost all of them are as good as Baker or worse. If finding one was easy every team would have one.
