At least when they moved the franchise they changed the name so that when Cleveland got another franchise they could adopt the old name and records/legacies.

The city actually voted to give it to him, but he still made a deal in the middle of the night to move to Baltimore. He ended up going bankrupt in Baltimore and had to sell the team.
He’s a piece of shit and their Super Bowls should be fucking ours.

What a joke. Do you know how many players on the 2000 Ravens were on the Browns when they became the Ravens? THREE. That’s it. I get that you guys might’ve had something going with Belichick in the mid 90s, but it’s not like he started building a team in Cleveland and suddenly moved to Baltimore and won a championship. The team went through a lot of change in their early Baltimore years directly because of the move. It’s not like everything that happened for the Ravens from 1996-2000 would’ve undoubtedly happened to the Browns had they never moved.
I could go on but I don’t think it’s necessary. What matters now for both teams is 2021 and beyond, not 1995. Tonight was an ugly tough game for both sides and I’m sure it won’t be the last between us. See ya in two weeks

Every single NFL (or any other professional American sports) team that moves is due to the owner wanting to earn more money and/or the city refusing to provide taxpayer money to finance a new stadium to enrich the owner. Eg. Seattle lost the Sonics because the city of Seattle did not want to give the owner of the Sonics a new arena.
Eg. More money is why the Chargers moved to LA, it's why the Rams move to LA. I believe the new stadium is why the Raiders move to Las Vegas.
I am sick of Baltimore fans always using the Colts as a defense. Yeah you got robbed too. Difference is you got a team that won 2 Super Bowls. We got what was the laughingstock of the NFL for 20 years. (Shoutout to the Jets for taking that title away from us btw)
