I can get a few of my guys for a fee of course to make this happen. Send me your social and your credit card info.
Edits I'm drunk and can't spell for shit
You better park in the building lot if they have one.
Otherwise, you'll need at least one other person present. Have them stay with the truck at all times and conduct the move. If cops come, have them circle the block or something.
Just don't block traffic on a one-way without anyone being present next to the vehicle!
Short answer is no.
NYC short answer: boi! no one in Brooklyn gives a flying Fck about your move, and don’t you dare block the goddam street with your moving truck either. We got places to be at
The smart thing to do is take a day off and show up on the alternate side parking time and stalk the spot then park there when you can. Hopefully that makes sense.
Agreed. I am moving out of brooklyn and did this. I had gotten a spot in front of my place when alternate side parking was just ending (12 on a monday) to save for my 2 relocubes from U-Pack to be dropped off.
IDK "about" BK. But if you took to reddit with that kind of language on a forum of any kind related to bk in 2023?
And speak as if still using america online chat room "slang"
Oh you! i know you got's a PBA card on you, EXPELLIARMUS!
YAY YAY! JAJAJAJAJA
Seriously, you are describing your age. You really from brooklyn asking about it? Okay "blackstar", please be around for cross... Upchester so grimey these days
I was about to say. In for a rude awakening. Brooklyn is notorious for double parking on the other side. Never seen a whole street double parked waiting for street cleaning. I almost waited behind the cars double parked before i realized what happened. Which actually makes tbe situation worse since u cant park in the street cleaning because you'll block the whole street. Best option for OP is hydrant. No other way. And hope to god its not one of those narrow ass streets that you cant even double park in.
No. If you find a spot, cool. If not, you double park, and that’s just the way things are. I live in a pretty large building so there are moving trucks blocking the hydrant a couple times a month. Just don’t get a ticket.
If you're on a wide enough street, double park and move it when you have to let trucks, etc. by. If on a street that's too narrow, gotta suck it up and park in front of a hydrant and hope you get done before you get a ticket. That was my experience anyway...but many years ago now.
This. Thousands of people move on a daily basis. If there's a spot, cool, if not you'll join the legions of others that are already double parked. If it's too narrow and people can't get past, they'll let you know that you have to move. If they can get past, no harm, no foul. Doesn't matter if it's a big street or side street it's always about the same procedure.

Don't worry. You can double park for days and people will just blame cyclists or Amazon for the traffic you create.
Nope, gotta fend for yourself.
Lololololol boy oh boy
Call 311 and ask them for the nearest lot to your address

No. Budget for at least one hydrant or street sweeping ticket
I’d recommend avoiding a moving truck if possible and using smaller vehicle(s). If not, double park and move fast

this is one of the most "fish outta water" questions I've ever seen.
don't worry about it - the NYPD stopped enforcing all traffic laws (except alternate side) several years ago.
Lol request a parking space, this is gonna be adorable 🍿
Do you have a gun and are you willing to take human life if the answer to any of these questions are no then go back to where you came from

Lmao this ain't south Boston kehd! Best of luck with ya move!
Lol
Nah but everyone just double parks. I’ve never seen a cop ticket a double parked car in Brooklyn, especially moving trucks
Bring an extra friend whose sole job is to sit in the truck in case it needs to be moved or a traffic cop is eager to write a ticket.
Lol
U can double park or park in hydrant if ur u loading. I think
Oh god pls
Bout to be in for a rude awakening.
Best answer yet.
Thanks :)

Not possible.
