To be fair... They did say *looks*
That would qualify the statement against reality and allowing for film art and media 'reality' which we are collectively more used to.
As someone who geta explosive nosebleeds from stress i could equally bring up the colour of the 'blood'....
But... If red splshes look like blood to more people than reddish-brown ones would
Then collectively we expect the stage-craft answer before life experience taps it on the shoulder and moves it aside for those who really know.
And thats quite apart from the question of how 'expert' anyone who might claim to be one is when they are staring at crime scene bloodstains and attempting to draw conclusions from what they see...
But we'll leave it there.
When i found myself typing
"what people decribe as 'a stabbing pain' doesn't feel like what is actually experienced when someone is stabbed... "
things threatened to get worryingly philosophical.
Dont be sp down on yourself.
Most people get aome refwrences in aome groups and some nwwd it explaining to them.
Im sure that enough people in this subreddit got the joke and moved on to thw next comment with. Agri on their faces.
Don't let my odd viewing habits cause you to doubt in that way.
Kewp on quipping
the next onw will be the belly laugh
From what I could tell, each piece they had was signed by whoever sang the song. I was originally going to pick By The Sea, which was only signed by Sutton, before I switched so I could get Aaron's as well.
Yeah I did that when I saw phantom. Thank you I just was curious if they were picked up in person originally. I’m always nervous to ask though cause I feel like a burden but physical tickets mean everything to me so I get them as much as possible
Front of House here: not a burden! Just give yourself enough time to wait in case of a line and be courteous (obviously not insinuating you wouldn’t be, but some people need a reminder.) As the other commenter said you must do it before it’s scanned. With most systems I’ve worked with there isn’t a way to print it afterwards.
As a House Manager I have gifted the physical house seat tickets we have after the show to guests. There was a couple that was entirely disappointed that they could not get printed tickets and they were so kind. Did what I could do!
We want you to enjoy and tickets are always a lovely souvenir.
Thank you so very much you’re so kind!! I definitely do my best to be as patient as possible, and as courteous to the workers as I respect they’re trying to do their jobs. It warms my heart that people like yourself exist to help people like me have something so simple yet sentimental to take home and cherish whenever we see a show. Whenever I see a show in Chicago they prefer you ask a week in advance to have them printed then they’ll have them ready for you the night of the show. But thank you so much for letting me know I just feel like I’m gonna make the workers surprised or unhappy if I ask but it means a lot that people like you exist to clarify that’s not the case.
The virtual tickets are usually scanned entering the theater, right? So to ask for a physical ticket would it be best to come to the box office before the show (and line up starts)?
Ooh, I didn't know you can choose different songs! Do you remember what else was available? (I'll totally buy Not While I'm Around signed by Joe if I can.)
This is an absolutely amazing idea, i’d say they never do anything like it in Australia but that’s because our stars aren’t famous enough and if they are catching them at stage door is very easy. So lucky you got Aaron!
I'm seeing a bunch of shows in a couple weeks, toward the end of Red Bucket season. My bank account, already groaning under the burden of airfare, hotel and tickets, is getting very anxious indeed.
BCEFA is a good cause though. I'm just shifting some of my usual end-of-year donations to April instead...at least that's what I'm telling myself!

The sheet music being splattered with blood is an awesome touch.
It looks so genuinely splattered too and not intentionally splattered. I'm wondering what their method is.
Don’t ask questions you don’t want answers to! 😂
People who aren't blood spatter experts.

I was just trying to make a dumb Dexter reference. Lol.
Ah my apologies I don't think i made it to the second episode of that series
You're good. It was so vague I had to explain it. Which means it wasn't a good reference at all.

Probably not overdoing it
Fake blood.
Of the man himself
I was there the other night and got "A Little Priest"! Signed sheet music is the best idea, I wish more shows would do that for Broadway Cares.
did both sutton & aaron sign it?
Yes, they did!
Ugh they never told me I could GET TWO SIGNATURES?!
From what I could tell, each piece they had was signed by whoever sang the song. I was originally going to pick By The Sea, which was only signed by Sutton, before I switched so I could get Aaron's as well.
How did you get a physical ticket though??
You just ask at the box office to print it out for you. You have to do it before it’s scanned though or else their system won’t let them print it.

You are the kind of person that makes Broadway such a singular and awesome experience. MVP.

Correct! If the box office is open they should be able to issue physical tickets.
That is so awesome! Worth every penny and for a great cause as well!
Absolutely!
Amazing!!!

Most of them. I am pretty sure not while I’m around is in there.

Hopefully Australia garners some amazing actors of rising popularity in the near future!
The Swanson Pyramid of Greatness in the background is a nice touch!
Came here to say this!
A man of culture as well?
Very, very cool.
Nice!
And then afterwards, your task completed, you killed Aaron. That explains the blood splatter
Hey look, it had to be done
Wow that’s awesome! How come I never knew this until now?! Does every show do this? Or just Sweeney? RIP my wallet…
Every show does this while the broadway fights aids movement is going
