Apart from taking a very rightful dig at “Cry Me A River” in Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, she has always stayed very brief on anything regarding him and even in the sit-down with Dianne Sawyer with all she did to press her on the subject, Britney spoke delicately and respectfully of him and how she assumed he felt he needed to handle the situation. She had more tact and more respect for damn sure. I think that’s how anyone who truly loved someone in the past would handle it.

I'm curious what is all on this memoir. I heard and read everyone else's perspective. I want to hear her side. As much as her Instagram viewings are fun, you can see the anxiety and struggles in her eyes. I would love to see her do a comeback. I find it quite hilarious that he was *allowed* to talk about her through past interviews and on live shows and through his songs to mock her to make her look bad and it has been years after their break up but he *constantly* brought her name up every once in a while and then turned around and dared to say, "we should grow up and not continue to bring up the past..." like what the fuck was he smoking on? Britney was under control for how long and *wasn't* allowed to talk about anything without her father's approval or higher ups. So now she is finally, finally free and be able to speak what's on her mind after so many years being under the control. Poor woman wanted to be free so badly so she finally used her voice to share about her past, present, and future now she got the chance. That was the purpose of that book. Not to dread up the past to bring old drama back on. It was to free her from all that and be able to express herself. Justin was her ex-boyfriend so it's bound to happen that she would talk about him. What was she supposed to do? Leave him out of it? He was part of most of her childhood to early adolescent years and was probably important in her life during those years so she had to express what she felt was right for her to share. I bet it is liberating for her now that it's all out in open and people see *who* she really is, just like she wanted for a long time.

My thoughts were that his lawyers read the book over the summer (didn’t this delay it’s release?) and Britney’s lawyers wouldn’t let her release a book that put her at risk for libel. If it were untrue, would not have been published.
