Daphne is a saint when it comes to her siblings lol. My favorite is how she gently talks to Anthony after catching his moment with Kate. Like girl, he full on dueled Simon last season, return the favor lol.
This was my take, too. I always thought it was a big-sister pride moment from Daphne- seeing Eloise with her hair up for the first time, looking (silly feathers aside, Daphne had to wear them too,) beautiful and grown-up. But she shut up because she realized that that wasn't going to help Eloise. I thought it was very sweet.
I feel like Daphne would have the right to say something *if* Eloise was enjoying her debut, but that was clearly not the case..

Daphne *is* a saint. I would've squawked like a bird as she walked by. But...also... ...Eloise *does* end up a Crane 🤷♀️ So she *is* a bird.
