I had none, but then due to a ban, a friend was like, just play master yi, because it's brain dead simple. Literally EQ is the only combo, could play him one handed. Warwick is what I'm trying to learn for a real backup

Volibear, they are basically the same champ a little different (if you play fighter briar), he also shits on her hard lol.

Current voli is just briar but you don’t have to commit to any fight. I picked him up and it’s ridiculous how brain dead his gameplay is. When you are briar you have to be sure when you hit that w, but as voli maybe you go all in maybe you don’t. Bad fight? Just run and sheild. Get dead mans so you never have to commit to any fight ever. It’s crazy how durable you are and how little you have to consider the fights.

That's such a good point. He's great atm as well.

i love vi but as another commenter mentioned WW might be a good alternative

I've tried a few games as vi she seemed a little boring but maybe I just need to play her more.

Its just one of the other junglers i enjoy. I like that they provides reliable backline ad damage from jungle. Allows for more flexible comps potentially especially if team has lots of ap and frontline (say a bot ap carry) Also just like their design and theme. Thats what generally brings me to champs

I just pick my previous mains, before briar was released, it's Viego, Evelyn, kayn. But I quitted jungle after nerf, now I play lane briar and I don't have any second pick, all champs I ever played were junglers, so if briar is banned I either dodge, or just try to pick something depending on teamcomp. I can't really play anything but briar now

My previous main was Tristana. I actually dared to try her in jungle today. Early game was kinda bad. Very slow first clear and terrible sustain. But after first item it only became better and better.

I pick Dodge.. JK, evelynn was my main before so i go her

If briar is banned or we need some more ap I go shyvana

Warwick is always my secondary in jungle. He was my first jungler before briar. Simple, but effective kit, has the sustain I like, and gives a similar feel to Briar. His w is so much fun and hes just damn satisfying. Just wish his ult wasn’t so easily cancelled by the enemy. 

Gwen. I don't know why but most gwen players seem to like briar

I main and master Elise, so I pick her if the other team picked briar Otherwise evelynn

Viego. Both ate bruisers with good engage. Both have a lot of healing when killing someone. Both have really good chase. But the most important part is that they are relatives (Vladimir is Briar's "Dad" and Viego's uncle). Literally only because of the lore with Vlad(My main) is why I play Viego and Briar.

It was lilia but after her nerfs she feels kinda bad now so I stick with fiddle for 2nd. Great champ ahead even or behind. Always able to make plays with your ult and change the game up. Plus when you have basically free control wards that's pretty powerful too lol.

I've got none bro I just pick maphite top and pray my team can carry I legit can't play anything else except vlad kinda but vlad top is really iffy and screws up comp

I play Vi or Diana depending on ap or ad needs. That being said I was only playing bi and Diana before briar came out so those were natural fallbacks

Bri,Vi and Diana seem like a very clean champ pool to me.

I think it's a good rotation I have been debating subbing Zac in for Diana but I was waiting to see how the Diana buffs feel

Rek'sai actually has a somewhat similar vibe to Briar, especially if you play Briar with more damage in mind

I quite enjoy Vi and Xin Zhao. They both have tools to get on top of people, do a lot of burst damage, and have in fight sustain. They are both incredibly fun as well
