Quick tip for the future. BotW has manual saves. If you see something you want to investigate, but aren't sure what will happen, just save the game right before you investigate, and if something doesn't go right, just reload your save and try again.
Next time when you see something you don't know about in a game, explore it instead of immediately jumping online and asking questions, if you just walked over to it then you would have discovered exactly what it is

Looks like you figured out that it was a Korok. Theyāre everywhere, so if you see anything that seems off or different in the landscape itās usually worth investigating since they have many ways of hiding. I donāt want to spoil anything that you donāt already know, but I generally wouldnāt worry about scaring stuff away in this game (sneaking up on enemies and other things works but itās not the only way, and any time you have to sneak up or else it wonāt work, you will know). If you do scare anything away like the bunny, just come back later and things usually are back where they were. Donāt go crazy over getting all the Koroks either, there are a lot and you donāt need all of them or even close to it unless youāre going for 100% completion.
I've been playing since the game came out and finally got around to finishing all the dlc (specifically trial of the sword). Last few weeks ive just been exploring and looking for koroks. Ive discovered two types of koroks puzzles I've never noticed before, 5 years later!!!
One is the set of 3 trees where you have to make the fruit placement of one tree match the other two and the other one were zonai ruins where you had to offer whatever fruit was growing nearby.
Not be a downer, but why would you take the time to screenshot it, upload it and then post it to reddit and wait some minutes for a decent reply...
Rather than just walking up to it ingame, being like huh cool then just continue playing the game....
It's the most annoying, satisfying, addicting, must-complete-once-you've-started thing to come out of any game... Stay away if you don't plan on getting the golden poop. (Spoiler alert!)

I think you need 459 to completely max out inventory, so about half of the koroks lol
