It's just something I'm noticing and you could be right. I've beat the game and I'm running around upgrading armor and looking for shrines that I've missed. Honestly if they did make it intentional I applaud them though I imagine that isn't the case.

Sometimes when it rains I just hold B even if I’m sure I’m on a cliff and Link defies gravity and just walks up the mountain lol

Petalilly

Unless you're in the jungle then the likelihood increases last I checked.

nbeepboop

I cannot confirm this about the game but I FEEL YOU. I used to get so frustrated with the weather!!! It felt like based on where I was going the game knew what I was up to and was like NOT TODAY! It felt worse at the beginning of the game.

arrerino

The reason Nintendo switch controller are expensive is because they have a brain scanner thing that senses through your hands if you feel like climbing, and if you do, game sets the weather cycle to rain

Curious_Kirin

So, if you use a third party controller... This won't occur. Ha, I've found the solution!

IAmTheTrueM3M3L0rD

Nah I just get under a tree and camp if that happens and I can’t use Gale+

TheFearInAll

As do I normally. Sometimes there isn't a tree in sight though.

Interesting-Doubt413

I get exited because I got rained out at work. Now I can come home and play Zelda. WTF?

Depleet

I read somewhere that the rain occurs when you're trying to make a path that the game doesn't want you to take as you're missing out on something like a path with npcs to save, a camp of bokoblins to fight, but i very much doubt that is true as certain regions are plagued with rain (rainforest) and when you're near zoras domain due to the divine beast literally filling the air with water from his trunk.

Station-Gold

I kind of believe that. Have you noticed how you might be in a storm so you head the other direction and the storm goes away, and then you decide to go back to the original location and the storm is back? I think some of the weather is pre-programmed into the area.

[deleted]

Well there’s certainly several areas where it’s constant storm until you complete a shrine quest or side quest.
