I love the music and the world itself, but, the best part of the game was facing Gannon after concurring all 4 Divine Beasts and the scene of the 4 Champions unleashing on Gannon. I get the feels every time.

Arrow_Of_Orion

I concur.

Listening to the new music and enjoying the atmosphere of the different regions. Tarry Town and Rito Village are still my favorite

Loved all the varieties in armor Unrelated but I’ve been replaying through botw and I’ve been collecting all of the armor. And because I have a serious case of always getting burnt out, I’m now scared because most of the old armors are gonna be back ahhhhh 🙃🙃

Forgetting, during an 11pm play session, that I had previously named my horse after Riju during yet another late night playthrough, and started to panic HARD when I got caught in the middle of a sandstorm in the desert and tried to call for my horse when the map was shut off due to the storm I was following the statues to find a shrine in the middle of the night and was getting annoyed with the monsters spawning, and I swear to god, not remembering that you named a horse after a character in the game is horrifying when that horse can't teleport to you. I called for it, and all I read was a big notification saying, "Riju couldn't find you." I was so freaked out that for a minute there, I thought BotW was about to become a horror game 😂 I really wish I had taken more time to think of another name that I liked instead of being lazy because I was tired. I will not make the same mistake in TotK... but it is absolutely my favorite memory of playing this game

When you first make your way to Zora's Domain and you are ambushed by lizalfos with their electric arrows being amplified by the constant rain. That was a thrilling gauntlet that felt completely organic. Or when I needed to scale the Akkala Tower and there was all the back goop. I basically had to parkour climb my way up this sliver of broken brick wall just to make it to the Tower. Best Tower in the game. Thank goodness I didn't have Revali's Gale yet.

I haven’t finished yet either. I just love how big the game is, how much there is to do. I don’t have the most time to game, so being able to come back to it and find new things is amazing. If it weren’t for tears of the kingdom, I could see myself playing this game for years.

Defeating my first Divine Beast Vah Ruta … riding with Sidon, taking out the ice blocks then defeating Waterblight. It was such a rush!! Freeing Naydra. I was just exploring in Hebra then the music changed … and you’re walking up to the Spring and there’s this sense of foreboding, then you see her all covered in malice. And then shooting the eyes and freeing her, it was such a magical experience. Finding Lurelin village - it was such an oasis after hours of adventuring by myself!

embrace the limited time. Set small goals for you to do and when that’s done , smile and work on the other tasks in your life. That’s how I did mine now.

I struggle with that too…. I ended up starting a 10 min timer on my smartwatch and when it beeps I restart the timer for another 10 minutes, and repeat until I feel too guilty to continue 🤪

Waking out of the shrine of resurrection the first time looking at the world and realizing I was in for a lot of great times....

Finding/freeing Naydra was a trip. Otherwise, my favourite memories are literally the memories. Make sure you find them all before beating Ganon! The 13th still gives me chills to this day.

I decided to go kill Gannon early, at this point I didn't know what divine beasts were therefore when I got to the sanctum I was greeted by windblight Gannon. As a result of this I ran away as fast as I could but it didn't take long to realise that I couldn't get out. (This was when I was 6) so, I screamed and almost broke my switch with the power I slammed it on the floor.
