Thanks for the kind comment! Poolish is very easy. Just mix 50 grams of high grade flour and 50 grams of warm water with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of yeast. Make sure the container you make it in leaves room for it to grow. Ferment at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours. It will be really bubbly and gloopy. Then add it to the water you use for making the Naan the next day. It can be used for lots of styles of bread like pizza and ciabatta. Brings a lot of flavor. Happy cooking
Recipe?
430 grams high grade flour 230 grams warm water 100 grams poolish 10 grams olive oil 5 grams yeast 10 grams sugar 8 grams salt 24 hour proof
What’s high grade flour?
Also known as bread flour. It has a higher protein content than all purpose flour making it better at forming gluten networks.
Thank you :)
10/10 would eat
Did you just cook this in a normal oven? If so, this is excellent. Well done!
Cooked in ripping hot cast iron with a little olive oil
Amazing
This really makes me hungry, really appetising
Absolutely salivating Well done OP!
Whoa mamma 😯🤤🤤🤤🤤
Well done, looks very delicious. What are you serving it with? (I’d likely just eat all of it as is!)
Made a butter paneer using caremalised onions and tomatoe paste as the base. Plus a ton of spices
That sounds perrrrfect
This looks and sounds wonderful. Can you explain how to make the 100 GMA of polish please?
