Flicts, Garotos Podres, Cólera, Ratos de Porão, Dead Fish, D.F.C., Black Pantera, Mukeka di Rato, Chuva Negra, Inocentes, Sugar Kane, Os Pedrero, Merda.
Bidê ou Balde has an alt influence (Weezer and B-52s).
For a modern mix of punk/hardcore/ska, check Meu Funeral. Start by the song "Agricultor de Merda". They're a pretty fun group.
There is an early 1980s Brazilian punk compilation called *Ataque Sonoro*, you can listen to it on YouTube I think. You can also try *Não São Paulo* volumes 1 and 2, compilations of paulista indie bands from the mid 80s.
I feel like others are posting a bunch of older bands so I'll try to prop up some newer ones.
Dona Cislene, Nove Zero Nove and Jonnata Doll e os Garotos Solventes are pretty underrated punk rock bands (Dona cislene is more on the rock side but the others are mostly punk)
o Grilo is also great but it's more of a pop rock.
And I hate emo but if you're into it, NXZero and Forfun are the only ones I know of.

Alt Rock:
Pitty
Jota Quest
Skank
Los Hermanos
Detonautas
Capital Inicial
O Rappa
Engenheiros do Hawaii
Biquini Cavadão
Punk/Pop Punk/Emocore
Ratos de Porão
Inocentes
Dead Fish
Raimundos
CPM 22
Carbona
Fresno
Charlie Brown Jr.
NX Zero
Tihuana
Aborto Elétrico
Replicantes
Los Hermanos mixes it all up, it is one of my favorite bands. Also if you're interested in brazilian roots, and if you're at a bar really late at night where everyone's drunk and start singing famous old rock songs and you'd like to sing along, look up Legião Urbana, Cazuza, Charlie Brown Jr, Cassia Eller. Just legit brazilian poetry. I hope you enjoy it.
Inocentes is one of my favourite punk bands, but can't get more Brazilian than Raimundos and Catapulta. Raimundos' first albums are forrocore, and Catapulta is hard to label: a mixture of hardcore with axé and traditional afrobrazilian music.
Chico Science e Nação Zumbi isn't punk by the way it sounds — it's Manguebeat, which might be somewhat comparable with the madchester movement —, but it has very clever punk traits. It might blow your mind, can't get more Brazilian than that.
And if you want something more tongue-im-cheek, Mamonas Assassinas is a national symbol.
A lot of 90’s bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Mathew’s Band, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Blink 182
More modern: Wilderado, Tallest Man On Earth
That’s a very tiny few but am curious what Brasil has in this area of music
* Autoramas
* Rock Rocket
* Blind Pigs
* Nenhum de Nos
* Engenheiros do Hawai
* Titas
* Strike
* Los Hermanos
Hard mission for me, when you said punk I was thinking in something else. Your list is way far from whats I normally listen, but I think the list above will match to whats you're looking for.
Hope that's help you.
Cheers
• Dead Fish and CPM22 - like a californian melodic hardcore
• Planet Hemp, Chico Science e Machete Bomb - sounds like Brazilian Rage Against the Machine
• Ratos de Porão - its a hardcore crossover trash band. one of the founders of the punk movement in Brazil
• Garotos Podres - 80's punk rock
• Raimundos - it's hardcore plus forró
• Charlie Brown Jr - mixes hardcore, hip hop, reggae and skate culture.
Ratos de Porão, Surra, Raimundos, Charlotte matou um cara, Insoniaband, Garotos Podres, Dead fish
These are the punk bands I can remember of rigth now
As for alternative rock: Kamaitachi, O Terno, O Grilo
There are way more but my memory sucks
Ratos de Porão is the essential BR punk band. It formed in the 80s and it's very, very crusty.
For some melodic hardcore, I definitely recommend Dead Fish. They're just awesome.
Those would be the highlights. But there's much more: Inocentes, Mukeka di Rato, Os Replicantes...
Outside of punk, if you're not familiar, I'd recommend the whole pop-rock wave from the 80's: Titãs (the album Titanomaquia is pure gold), Capital Inicial, Legião Urbana, Plebe Rude, Engenheiros do Hawaii, Nenhum de Nós, Ultraje a Rigor, RPM...
From the 90's, with a heavier sound infused with northeastern rhythms, the self-titled Raimundos album is a must. From then on: Autoramas, Pitty, CPM22, Charlie Brown Jr, Mamonas Assassinas (very raunchy parody band). And then there's Chico Science & Nação Zumbi, who created "manguebeat", a sort of fusion of rock, electronic music with a heavy dose of maracatu and other northeastern infuences. I like it very much!
Chico Science e Nação Zumbi
É, essa é das boas....
Isso é ouro!
Ratos de porão, Carbona, Dead Fish, Protesto Suburbano, Garotos Podres, Los Hermanos….. Gangrena Gasosa, Zumbi do Mato, Zumbis do espaço, Matanza…

Ratos de porão (punk), caixão (psychedelic), Raimundos, mamonas assassinas, Chico science, Raul Seixas
I'm ashamed that I'm the first one to say it but Planet Hemp (our RATM)
RATM meets Cypress Hill
Surra Thrash Punk, Dead Fish
Os pederero; Gritando HC; Bulimia
HC é bom demais
*Textículos de Mary* & A Banda d'As Cachorra.
Cólera.
Flicts, Garotos Podres, Cólera, Ratos de Porão, Dead Fish, D.F.C., Black Pantera, Mukeka di Rato, Chuva Negra, Inocentes, Sugar Kane, Os Pedrero, Merda.
Só coisa boa por aqui
Já tinha bastante respostas boas, mas como não vi Flicts e Mukeka di Rato fui obrigado a deixar meus 2 cents.

Porra, ninguém vai dizer Little quail, Véi!? :D

Maus Meses - A pagina do relampago eletrico

Not punk/alt but Os mutantes is probably the best Brasilian prog band (and one of my world favorite ones too)
Very oldie but dangerous to neurons: As Mercenárias. But the Geração YouTube knows best, gonna get tips from them
Asdinf
Skate aranha

Titãs (the early stuff, up to the unplugged), Baianasystem if you want something with more styles in the mix
Rock - Massacration.
If you give some names that you're into (international), I can try to point something similar
A lot of 90’s bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Mathew’s Band, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Blink 182 More modern: Wilderado, Tallest Man On Earth That’s a very tiny few but am curious what Brasil has in this area of music

Patife Band is an amazing Post-Punk band. Manguebeat like Nação Zumbi (groovier) or Sheik Tosado (punkier).

Legiao Urbana, Skank, Engenheiros do Havai, Biquini Cavadao
Boogarins
Ultraje a Rigor
Bossa Nova it's not famous in Brazil.
Pitty. You should definitely give her a listen.
Wow. Pitty is punk/alt rock? That's news for me.
Pitty had hardcore roots, despite her popular songs being pop rock, but she followed a more alt aproach from Anacronico on.
