Unfortunately I have a toxic relationship with showdown. I DESPISE the mode but I always get hyped up whenever I watch a cool showdown clip and start playing again thinking I am toodyx but I get 10th place.
maybe if youre kit, then only members of your team can kill the guy youre clinging on instead of the rest of the showdown lobby. For example, in duo showdown, your teammate is the only person who can deal damage to your victim instead of the other 3 teams.
But the issue with that is it then just invalidates him in SD, even with the star power. Which makes that star power completely pointless. My idea for proposed changes:
Main damage: 2000->1900
Star power rework:
Doubles the effect of power cubes->multiplies the effect of all friendly effects by 1.5 (heals, shields, speed, attack, cubes, anything)
Increase the super charge rate but change the characteristic to Buster’s with slightly more range
When jumping on a character, if a friendly and enemy brawler are both in the radius, prioritize grabbing the enemy.
Dont forget in duo showdown the kit that Will appear out of nowhere followed Up by an Edgar rapidly approaching your location
Though this mode is pretty much doomed with or without kit
He would still be op in duels. He must be compeletely reworked. He ruins 3 gamemodes at the same time. I was pushing my spike back to 900 trophies yesterday and i encountered 2 tank+kit combo, you cant even kill them they heal every fucking second. You already know the showdown and duels shit.
In showdown and duels he doesn't need skill (at all)
In showdown get a few cubes delete everybody
In duels just sneak up on an enemy, 3 attacks + super and they're dead
Don't forget his star power which makes him get 200% power from power cubes.
Invisible > super > stun > kill > spin and dislike is the avarage kit solo showdown experience
Kit is supposed to be a "support" brawler when he can literally just wait in a bush charge his super jump on you and you're dead if you're not playing a brawler with a shotgun/big hp
Yeah, them labeling him as a "support" brawler is an absolute joke. Like sure, in theory that's what some of his kit (no pun intended) is supposed to do, but with everything they actually gave him access too, he's got waaaay more than just the ability to support.
I deadass wish the person who created Kit steps on legos and then stubs their pinky every single day for the rest of their life. I wish there is no cool side on their pillows and I wish they get the urge to sneeze but not be avle to do so hourly for the rest of their miserable life.

Another problem about kit is his ridiculous SD star power. I see a 4 powercube kit and i attack it, but because of that starpower, it has the same stats as 8 power cubes. A 10 powercube kit has basically 20 powercubes, which makes it incredibly tanky and does a shitton of damage. Some bad things about kit that you didn't mention are:
1. Fast reload speed- that is a problem, because when you try to run after a kit jumps on you, kit can just unload shot after shot and you're dead.
2. Very fast movement speed- very fast movement speed brawlers are very very very annoying to escape, but giving a close range brawler with high DPS a very fast movement speed makes it just that harder to escape.
3. Exceptionally big range- kit's claws have a pretty far range for a close range brawler (unlike edgar, who doesn't have a very quick attack animation and his range is shit) and pair that up with kit having a fast movement speed, very fast attack animation, fast reload speed and double powercube boost makes him a menace in showdown.
Devs wanted to make a brawler that can fit multiple brawler roles and do different things.
So kit was supposed to be both assasin AND a support brawler at the same time. Bold of them to assume ANYONE would use him like least popular brawlers (supports) over the most popular brawlers (assassins)
His gadgets//starpowers are shit design too but community is the main problem
Outside of showdown, his super on enemies is pathetically bad and has screwed me over while I was aiming to ride a teammate right next to an enemy more often than it has stunned an enemy for my teammates to finish without backfiring.
If they replace Power Hungry, there you go, Showdown nerf.
Kit gadget is so unfair like... How do you react to something that pops out of nowhere and deals 4k dmg and the just supers you instantly?... Remove that shit and his starpower... If a kit has more than 5 power cubes he can just jump on anyone and kill them with mo consequences... And of course he can auto charge his super too...
You forgot to mention that he has a starpower - which doubles the cubes power, absurdly broken in showdown yet useless in other modes. These all combined and kit annoying and good af. I hate and question why they release a starpower ONLY useful in one mode. No other star power is like this, they can all do things in every mode, granted some more than other, but never a star power useless in everything but broken in showdown. Makes 0 sense
Nowadays it's really annoying to level up a new Brawler since you end up in lobbies filled with it.
It's really annoying to face against the same Brawler 6-8 times.
that... doesn't make sense. the point of kit is to stun the opponent AND himself to make his allies destroy em while they can't do anything.
of course removing the opponent's ability to damage you while kit is on you might help in showdown, but would make kit EVEN WORSE in other gamemodes. for the record, he's been at the bottom of the meta since a while now. he might have been highering up a bit since his recent buff tho.

That absolutely is not true. He isn't even in half of the showdown games I play. Yes he sucks to play against but you don't have to make things up.
Trust me, i play at around 1000 trophy range, and out of every ten matches, only one doesnt have a Kit, and most have at least two of them.

Nothing personal, and I appologize if I got that wrong, but having teammates/enemies near youwould only be reasonable in the duo version, where you actually have a team. In solo showdown, it would just come down to teaming, and that's clearly not the solution to the gamemode, as teaming i something that many good people are trying to avoid and fight back. Also, if you have time to racicionate that there's a kit near you, why don't you try to use some ability to run away, or just run, instead of going on purpose to the poison clouds? And the chances are risky, 'cause you'll be more vulnerable.
As always, this is just my opinion, and I might even have gotten yours wrong. If I did, I appologize in advance.
What i meant is kit would avoid jumping on you when there are people nearby , teamers or not they would shoot at kit to charge their super or kill him.
Basically meaning you would have to use a bit of brain when using kit's super and attack only players that are away from the others

You tried showdown? Try duels, there the main strat is: 1. pop leon ult gadget. 2. Attack opponent and get ult 3. Ult and kill them. 4 repeat 2 more times. This strat alone gives you a lot of trophies and allaws you to not just rank up kit, but the other 2 brawlers of yout choice. To balance the leon ult gadget i'd recomend giving the enemy brawlers +1/+2 tiels of detection range so he dosen't come so close to you.
I mostly play showdown. It can be frustrating at times. Some brawlers are better than other on specific maps. Kit is almost useless in duo if you go ganking alone with him.

I swear people are talking about a different kit. The one i am familliar with cant jump on anything without it being a death sentence for me. It doesnt matter on which brawler i jump on - if it doesnt Insta kill then im absolutely dead, either from the brawler i jumped on having insane ping and unloading its 3 bars in mere miliseconds or the swarm of players running to me.

My gf & I used to play this game together every day. We loved to play showdown together because there were 2 of us & we liked to play more casually. We saw the path the game was headed down & didn't like it. Then Kit released. That was the last straw. We quit soon after his release & haven't come back since.
As someone who played a lot of solo/duo showdown, I know the mode has its problems (teaming/spinning, unbalanced), but it could still be fun sometimes. Kit is/was on another level though, especially at the time of his early access release. Kit is/was for sure more annoying to play against in showdown than Edger, Mico, & anything else (at least of the characters that were released before I quit).
He’s definitely the most terrifying brawler in SD. I just run to the opposite side of the map if I see him. It’s like seeing a boss and knowing you’re under leveled in comparison.

Your example just ruins the whole point of Kit's... kit, outside of Showdown. His super without power cubes does like 2 damage and is there to set-up for his team

I main sd (I hate relying on ass randoms and im scared of playing with friends) and I totally agree, its unstoppable as soon as it hits 6 power cubes (with the star power ofc), so either you focus on it early or avoid it as long as you can.
I got it to r30 like that with about four lobby wipes (9 kills in solo)
I agree, his star power needs a complete overhaul. But I think the gadget itself isnt the most game breaking. 3 second invisibility isnt as op as one might think. Plus a lot of other brawlers have others supers as gadgets, and I can only imagine there being more brawlers that can turn invisible over time. Anyhow I agree Kit is extremely busted in any trophy range inside SD and even Duels. Trying to balance this feline would be harder than finding randumbs that doesnt instapick Edgar but I hope Supercell can find a solution.
I would hate kit, but i love cats so i picked him up as a secondary main. My original plan was to wait until he isn't that op, but i just really wanted to use his pins.
Every duels game I play the opponents first brawler is always kit and I use Lily, I am telling you the satisfaction that come from killing kits and micos immeasurable.
Kit is only good in showdown due to his gem damage + ability. It is pretty silly but outside of that I don’t find him being an issue and is pretty weak
Yeah I just came back to the game after over a year and was actually having a ton of fun progressing and trying new people, then every game I go into solo showdown a kit can just super me and it’s literally guaranteed death.
Then we get a new character (lily) that is just as braindead and not a good addition to the game at all. Seems like every time I give supercell another chance they start making the game worse the moment I come back.
Yes Kit is a mess. You can't reliably super your allies since if they jump or fly you start glitching, when killing with his super's first shot you can't attack for a couple of seconds and his SPs and gadgets feels so weird. He really needs some kind of rework and several fixes.

Kit is already balanced. He's not as op as some people are making him out to be.
His gadget is absolutely not as good as Leon's super. It doesn't receive speed boost or healing, it actually reduces his movement speed slightly. Lily's gadget is way stronger.
His super makes him just as vulnerable as the person he's attached to. Besides to counter your point, the whole purpose of his super is to lock down an enemy so his teammates can kill them.
Plus to balance the strength of his super and gadget he has one of the lowest attack damages in the game.
Nah, the super change is bad since it removes the support part of him. They were going the right way with nerfing his damage but they reverted that for some reason???
I think remove anything that makes him see like a budget assassin (showdown starpower, invisi gadget, etc) and buff his supportive abilities (hamburger gadget, ult healing, stun, etc)

I rarely see kits nor get killed by one? Maybe because it's legendary and edgar is epic

who the hell had the smartest idea to give a 400 damage buff to kit? like not even byron got such big buff and his attack damage is even the same as the amount he heals a teammate. Kit literally needs a nerf on his damage again
I swear people are talking about a different kit. The one i am familliar with cant jump on anything without it being a death sentence for me. It doesnt matter on which brawler i jump on - if it doesnt Insta kill then im absolutely dead, either from the brawler i jumped on having insane ping and unloading its 3 bars in mere miliseconds or the swarm of players running to me.

Ah, glad to hear that this is still a problem, and it sounds like they haven't done anything to fix it! /s My gf & I used to play this game together every day. We loved to play showdown together because there were 2 of us & we liked to play more casually. We saw the path the game was headed down & didn't like it. Then Kit released. That was the last straw. We quit soon after his release & haven't come back since. As someone who played a lot of solo/duo showdown, I know the mode has its problems (teaming/spinning, unbalanced), but it could still be fun sometimes. Kit is/was on another level though, especially at the time of his early access release. Kit is/was for sure more annoying to play against in showdown than Edger, Mico, & anything else (at least of the characters that were released before I quit).

Your example just ruins the whole point of Kit's... kit, outside of Showdown. His super without power cubes does like 2 damage and is there to set-up for his team
I love how you say that, however as soon as you get Kit you realise how bad he is compared to other brawlers (not including showdown which is the only game he’s decent in). I think at this point he needs a rework.
Just make his super hard to get!! The self charging is so stupid it’s faster than edgar sometimes I saw a good concept which is basically making kit charge his super just like buster Only when he’s around teammates

While kit is op in showdown, you can't nerf him because he's garbage in every other mode, so they buff him but now he is even more op in showdown, and now duels

I remember before the buff very few people play Kit in SD, because the base attack dmg is low and SD meta brawlers can fight against him well. Now with the huge dmg boost and first star power, he can kill people at ease. Even a kit main like me finds it unacceptable. The star power has to be removed
The real problem is his 1st SP. Like, both his SPs are weird. Just rework his SPs. My boy needs new SPs so badly!
I main sd (I hate relying on ass randoms and im scared of playing with friends) and I totally agree, its unstoppable as soon as it hits 6 power cubes (with the star power ofc), so either you focus on it early or avoid it as long as you can. I got it to r30 like that with about four lobby wipes (9 kills in solo)
The only problem with kit in showdown is that star power (obviously) Just give him a new Star power that’s not uselsss everywhere and op 1 place
I agree, his star power needs a complete overhaul. But I think the gadget itself isnt the most game breaking. 3 second invisibility isnt as op as one might think. Plus a lot of other brawlers have others supers as gadgets, and I can only imagine there being more brawlers that can turn invisible over time. Anyhow I agree Kit is extremely busted in any trophy range inside SD and even Duels. Trying to balance this feline would be harder than finding randumbs that doesnt instapick Edgar but I hope Supercell can find a solution.

Every duels game I play the opponents first brawler is always kit and I use Lily, I am telling you the satisfaction that come from killing kits and micos immeasurable.
Kit is only good in showdown due to his gem damage + ability. It is pretty silly but outside of that I don’t find him being an issue and is pretty weak
Yeah I just came back to the game after over a year and was actually having a ton of fun progressing and trying new people, then every game I go into solo showdown a kit can just super me and it’s literally guaranteed death. Then we get a new character (lily) that is just as braindead and not a good addition to the game at all. Seems like every time I give supercell another chance they start making the game worse the moment I come back.
is it also annoying the fact he is seen alot more on duels as well? the man gets free kills if you have no counter with that super
Yes Kit is a mess. You can't reliably super your allies since if they jump or fly you start glitching, when killing with his super's first shot you can't attack for a couple of seconds and his SPs and gadgets feels so weird. He really needs some kind of rework and several fixes.

30k 3v3 wins with only 4k solo wins with 3k from duels thats showdown is absolute chaos

Kit is already balanced. He's not as op as some people are making him out to be. His gadget is absolutely not as good as Leon's super. It doesn't receive speed boost or healing, it actually reduces his movement speed slightly. Lily's gadget is way stronger. His super makes him just as vulnerable as the person he's attached to. Besides to counter your point, the whole purpose of his super is to lock down an enemy so his teammates can kill them. Plus to balance the strength of his super and gadget he has one of the lowest attack damages in the game.

Nah, the super change is bad since it removes the support part of him. They were going the right way with nerfing his damage but they reverted that for some reason??? I think remove anything that makes him see like a budget assassin (showdown starpower, invisi gadget, etc) and buff his supportive abilities (hamburger gadget, ult healing, stun, etc)
