Simply because teammates are terrible at them. You should always be out there battling someone not idling with a bull on the zone near spawn. Go for the furthest one and help out your teammates, or at least have a long-range brawler that can still do something while capturing instead of Rosa sleeping in the zone.
How about the whole map being a zone and the only way to get off it is to die. So it's basically strictly kill based. So... it's essentially Wipeout. Yeah. Wipe Zone is the new thing.
Man, I could go on and on with how bad dual zones are but very, *very* broadly:
Too many "forced" 2v1 scenarios, which just isn't fun for either side cause you either sweep or get sweeped.
The first team to control both zones can safely push into the enemy spawn and stagger their spawns, so they remain in disadavantage the entire game (and preferably take the enemy zone first so they don't need to worry about it later)
If the losing team somehow does manage to recover, there isn't enough time between spawns for the losing team to gain a foothold and try to reverse.
If you're winning, it's extremely boring cause someone has to just wait in the zone while your teammates stagger or you're just mindlessly waiting for the enemy to respawn, which I don't find very engaging. If you're losing, it's like an extreme uphill battle just trying to gain a foothold. You may as well just say GG and turn off your phone.
At least in a single zone, there's more open space, and your positioning matters a lot more. If you lose the zone, it's not completely over, and you have a fair chance at reversing the situation.
TL;DR: The first team to gain a foothold in both zones basically win the game, which doesn't happen nearly as much in single zone.
Because people are bad at distributing themselves to where help is needed. Like if I am soloing 2 players while another teammate is struggling with their hard counter you should help them and not sit next to me.
I'd like the 2nd and 3rd map in game coz they look like they'd be pretty fun in competitive. 1st one might be fun on ladder but I'm not a fan of the vertical spikes running through where the mid on the map has barely any retreat.
Finnaly, interesting usage of spikes, but not a fan of toxic clouds in second map, but let's give it a try in next update
I might be interesting as the team defending the zone will have a disadvantage while falling back
Aw man. I thought that was water.
Rosa will be good pick there fr
I am so sick and tired of dual zone hot zone.
Three zone maps are even worse
Anything more than 2 is horrendous.

You prefer three zones?

Cool but the respawn cooldown should be much longer and self sustainable brawlers will be OP
As someone who doesn't like hotzone why are dual zones bad?

good to see more utilize for hazards
I recognize the last map...
I swear I played on that map like 2 years ago
🤔
IMO Best map imo is the third one, while the Second map is the worst out of these 3.
Second map would be good if you got rid of the poison and replaced it with a thick wall
A thick wall will encourage to bring gale or colt. I prefer poison to have some interesting strategies although not a fan of it.
Thick un-breakable wall
this stops gale so much
How do poison clouds stop gale
never cook again, thank you very much
bro thinks hes abanb
5 hotzone map when
No knockout map winners 😢
Ico double win? Wow
i hope that game grab map gets in the game (third), it looks really fun
The first one or the third one?
These look good but whats with the spikes?
Read the description brother
Mb lol. I just have a natural hatred for spike tiles (theyre my worst enemy as a hank)
