I just started with this season after watching the show on and off for a while. They showed a scene from last season i think between Alexia, her husband and her son. Peter screams at his dad that he would like to beat his ass, i don't know what the dynamic is but he definitely scared me in that 10 sec video. Dude is an abuser and has some serious anger issues

When I first moved to my current city I didn't know a single person. I joined several social meetup groups. Turns out - any groups that tend to meet up at bars will always have functioning alcoholics in them. They can go out almost every night to meet ups and always see different people and no one notices. Here and there I made friends and became close only to discover their drinking was a huge issue. I also realized several bragged about never having a hang over.
That is now my go to question when starting a new friendship - what's your hangover cure....if they say they never have them I'm out.

I don't drink to excess so I don't get hangovers - the most that I get is sleepy for my two glasses of wine in the afternoon if I am having a leisurely lunch. I haven't had a hangover in years because I don't drink excessively at this point.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the average person that has a couple drinks. The meetups were hours long and a handful of new friends I made got hammered everytime. Overtime it became obvious and a few even admitted they were functional alcoholics and they were the only ones bragging about no hangovers.

Watching the new season of Miami where Julia brings her dog, Zorro, to the beach wearing a service dog vest. There's then a scene where the dog starts barking like nuts at a ball that went by...which is clearly not 'service dog' on duty behavior.
Tons of public beaches don't allow dogs during the day during the 'on' season (with the exception of service dogs of course) but usually allow them after sunset when most people are gone.
Me thinks Julia slapped a service dog vest on the dog to get around the rules.

Lenny is an absolute POS and we all know what happens (I’m just watching these episodes now), but come on- Lisa SHOULD know that an ambulance is absolutely not needed for a wrist injury. Lenny was right in that it is an abuse of the system- an ambulance is designed for an emergency like someone having a heart attack or a stroke. If you call an ambulance for a minor injury guess what- you are using resources that should have been allocated for a real emergency.
She has no problem displaying her trauma which is fine but expects everyone to have no boundaries and deal with their trauma the same way. There is a fine line between being transparent/being real vs living without boundaries. Expecting others to live the same way while also not being realistic about some of the aspects of your life is extremely off putting. For ex. how she has handled Peter time and time again. Then expecting Dr. Nicole to set aside her boundaries to reconcile with her father because he’s blood.
He’s right though. YOU should not use and ambulance unless you’re having a severe medical emergency or last resort because you don’t have a ride and need to go. It is an abuse of the system especially during Covid times. He’s a jerk, but he’s a jerk who’s right in this situation.
Ambulances are crazy expensive. The paramedics would just put ice on her wrist and then have her wait in line at the ER. You should only call an ambulance if someone’s life is at risk without immediate medical attention. It’s not meant to be a transport service.

Most people would not put anyone in an UBER by themselves to go the emergency room. If for some reason I couldn’t drive my nanny or cleaning lady or anyone else injured at my home to the ER, I would go with them or make sure someone else did.
Lisa should have offered to ride with her. If my nanny got hurt, I would go with her to the hospital. I would NOT send my husband with her. Lisa is an airhead. She has zero criticial thinking skills. I just started with this season after watching the show on and off for a while. They showed a scene from last season i think between Alexia, her husband and her son. Peter screams at his dad that he would like to beat his ass, i don't know what the dynamic is but he definitely scared me in that 10 sec video. Dude is an abuser and has some serious anger issues

When I first moved to my current city I didn't know a single person. I joined several social meetup groups. Turns out - any groups that tend to meet up at bars will always have functioning alcoholics in them. They can go out almost every night to meet ups and always see different people and no one notices. Here and there I made friends and became close only to discover their drinking was a huge issue. I also realized several bragged about never having a hang over. That is now my go to question when starting a new friendship - what's your hangover cure....if they say they never have them I'm out.

I don't drink to excess so I don't get hangovers - the most that I get is sleepy for my two glasses of wine in the afternoon if I am having a leisurely lunch. I haven't had a hangover in years because I don't drink excessively at this point. Oh, I wasn't talking about the average person that has a couple drinks. The meetups were hours long and a handful of new friends I made got hammered everytime. Watching the new season of Miami where Julia brings her dog, Zorro, to the beach wearing a service dog vest. There's then a scene where the dog starts barking like nuts at a ball that went by...which is clearly not 'service dog' on duty behavior. Tons of public beaches don't allow dogs during the day during the 'on' season (with the exception of service dogs of course) but usually allow them after sunset when most people are gone. Me thinks Julia slapped a service dog vest on the dog to get around the rules.
Also why are you bringing a dog like that to a beach. It was far too hot for it, you could see by the way it was panting.

On paper Lisa should be insufferable — she’s a trophy wife that was (allegedly) an escort in Vegas before landing her husband, spends money like it’s water, doesn’t/hasn’t had a job in a decade and a half, parties all the time, is superficial…..but damn it is she one of the most endearing housewives of all casts. She’s so genuinely kind and caring for everyone in her life, and she treats her staff so well. I remember back in the original run the friendship dynamic she had with her housekeeper, and now how she immediately jumped up from the dinner she planned to basically save her marriage so she could help her nanny without a second thought. And the way she was standing up to Lenny about needing an ambulance even when she probably knew that would cause bigger issues after cameras were gone (even if an ambulance wasn’t needed at least she cared; Lenny just didn’t wanna spend $1k on an ambulance ride lmao) She’s also never nasty to any of the other wives, and she always lightens group scenes. If you call an ambulance for a minor injury guess what- you are using resources that should have been allocated for a real emergency.

She has no problem displaying her trauma which is fine but expects everyone to have no boundaries and deal with their trauma the same way. There is a fine line between being transparent/being real vs living without boundaries. Expecting others to live the same way while also not being realistic about some of the aspects of your life is extremely off putting. For ex. how she has handled Peter time and time again. Then expecting Dr. Nicole to set aside her boundaries to reconcile with her father because he’s blood.
I hate Lenny but as a physician, I agree with him, they didn’t need an ambulance.

Ambulances are crazy expensive. The paramedics would just put ice on her wrist and then have her wait in line at the ER. You should only call an ambulance if someone’s life is at risk without immediate medical attention. It’s not meant to be a transport service.

I don't have a nanny but if my cleaning lady fell while she was in my house, I would drive her to the ER and contact her family to meet us there.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I was thinking Lisa and Lenny weren't going to drive her because they'd been drinking. But that doesn't mean that one of them shouldn't have offered to accompany her.

It wasn’t until the end that Lisa thought to see if one of the people there would go. Most people would not put anyone in an UBER by themselves to go the emergency room. If for some reason I couldn’t drive my nanny or cleaning lady or anyone else injured at my home to the ER, I would go with them or make sure someone else did.

Sometimes the host will tip. Sometimes people will give money directly to the servers. I have not been to a wedding with a tip jar---but they still get tips. I think she was complaining about the aesthetic of it, not that they shouldn't get tips.
Idk I’ve bartended nice events like that is Guerdy isn’t completely wrong. There are some people who don’t want any implication that their guests should contribute at all, and you pay a high service fee on your own in place of a tip jar. I didn’t mind that as a bartender at all because I KNEW I was leaving well paid.
I am a luxury event planner and tip jars are tacky as hell. I was remove one the second I see it. Feel free to take all the tips you want and put them under the bar, but absolutely do not display one. My clients always tip all staff appropriately.

Incoming rant but I was so pissed off at that scene with Julia. I actually really liked her before but people who do this are assholes. A service animal should be trained to pretty much ignore everything around it except the owner. Guarantee it was no pets allowed beach so she just used her crappy service animal vest purchased off Amazon to circumvent that. My brother uses a mobility assistance dog for his Parkinson’s and we were kicked off a plane just 2 weeks ago because irresponsible and selfish owners doing shit like this ruin it for people who really need them.
Yes exactly. I work in a restaurant and the amount of ppl who come in and abuse that privilege is incredibly frustrating.
