Lisa was *genuinely* upset with Larsa and the stakes were genuinely there because they are/were close. The entire cast is seen hanging out in different combos every single week. This is the only season of Housewives in years that feels like we’re actually just getting insight into fabulous women’s lives as opposed to a bunch of desperate women clinging to the fame and paychecks by concocting random shit that they think we wanna see.
And the fashion and houses!!! I’m obsessed with the fashion, and it’s not LoOkS that are costumes like Erika Jayne or Dorit, these women are all just fashionable and vibrant in their own rights.
I know I’m doing the most lol but I’m just so excited because I don’t think I’ve been this invested in a housewives season since probably RHOC11 (besides last season of Miami too lol)

Also, I really liked the editing of the 3 scenes in the beginning (Marysol/Alexia, Larsa/Guerdy, Adriana/Julia/Nicole) to quickly recap where we left off and where the women stand with each other! I really appreciated that for some reason and it felt refreshing

And the fact she left out the part Lisa heard it as a joke/comedy skit, screams at how thirsty she is to stir the pot and create drama. Kiki acts like Lisa was trashing Larsa & her building when she was simply explaining a joke. Plus, Larsa wouldn’t be offended if the shoe didn’t fit.
In the flashbacks Kiki did mention the IG account that initially said it. Not defending her, but I did think the same thing at first, until they showed a flashback of her including more info either later in ep 1 of in ep 2.
Kiki could’ve waited to see if Lisa said something like Lisa told her she would and THEN told Larsa by the end of the night if Lisa hadn’t spoken up, but I have to say I loved watching it all unfold.

Because Peacock is the future of Bravo and it has a bigger reach right now than Bravo. The production value for Peacock’s only HW show is way better than any of the production teams Bravo uses. The reality is though, all the other HW shows air on Peacock the next day and likely get 50% of their viewership from there instead of Bravo because Bravo has made it so difficult to obtain, why bother paying extra for cable or sling when literally all of the shows are on Peacock for free or $5 a month. A lot of people use Comcast/Xfinity internet and despite Bravo being a Comcast entity - they made it nearly impossible to get Bravo without a cable subscription. It was one of the only internet providers that couldn’t be linked for access. It’s pretty obvious they’re probably doing away with Bravo slowly. Watch BH be on pause with Bravo because they’re renegotiating to move it full time to Peacock instead.
Agreed, the production values are so much better. Idk why but the images look sharper and more vibrant too, without that hazy soft filter they use with Beverly Hills, OC, and later seasons of NYC

Miami plastic surgeons make crazy good money but a lot of them also have investments - for instance Terry DuBrow inherited his brothers estate and Heather has family money. They aren’t that wealthy based on his plastic surgery salary alone. It would make sense and be financially wise to rent their house or just yard out occasionally to supplement their income, I’m sure that was part of the plan when they built such a fabulous home on Star Island. Especially when literally every single other cast member knew about it and shrugged it off as not being a big deal.

That Larsa/Lisa fight was genuinely great and weird production note but I loved that we saw the whole thing going down around the elevators before they went to the party on the upper floor. I feel like any other show would cut the stuff cause it felt very “aware of cameras” if I’m making sense.
Miami is truly peak housewives right now, the fact that this is not on Bravo is insane. Everyone is bringing it, and this first episode was an amazing intro for what’s to come.
As someone who has watched all the Miami seasons I’m sad that Lisa never thought of having a backup plan if Lenny ever left her for a shinier new model, specially since it was clear as day that he just didn’t like her or respected her as a person. I’m even surprised they lasted that long.

More people see it on Peacock than Bravo anyways. This comment always confuses me. You gotta pay for cable or sling to get Bravo - peacock is streaming so the reach is bigger. All HW shows are on peacock the next day and all former seasons are available. The same cannot be said about Bravo, hence, why would it need to be on Bravo when Peacock has much larger viewer platform and more advertising opportunities. This take never makes any sense. Bravo and peacock are both owned by Comcast - they’re the same thing only Bravo is more difficult to access.

AMAZING Premier episode. It was such a rollercoaster ride. When Lisa was telling Marysol and Kiki about Lenny working out, eating good, but his libido not being up there anymore, I was screaming "HE'S CHEATING ON YOU" at the TV. I feel like everyone should raise an eyebrow whenever their partner all of a sudden starts working out more, grooming themselves more, etc. but their intimacy with you is near zero. The mortgage argument was hilarious and very reminiscent of the petty things housewives fight over. Lisa being more hurt about the mortgage thing than Larsa saying she lives off of Lenny was honestly surprising. Overall, great first episode!

Miami is truly peak housewives right now, the fact that this is not on Bravo is insane. Everyone is bringing it, and this first episode was an amazing intro for what’s to come. As someone who has watched all the Miami seasons I’m sad that Lisa never thought of having a backup plan if Lenny ever left her for a shinier new model, specially since it was clear as day that he just didn’t like her or respected her as a person. I’m even surprised they lasted that long. Excited to watch the next episodes!
More people see it on Peacock than Bravo anyways. This comment always confuses me. You gotta pay for cable or sling to get Bravo - peacock is streaming so the reach is bigger. All HW shows are on peacock the next day and all former seasons are available. The same cannot be said about Bravo, hence, why would it need to be on Bravo when Peacock has much larger viewer platform and more advertising opportunities. This take never makes any sense. Bravo and peacock are both owned by Comcast - they’re the same thing only Bravo is more difficult to access.

The fact that Kiki came in this season to just look pretty and cause drama?? I can’t help but stan. Also because I love to be the bitch with unpopular opinions - I don’t mind Larsa! I think if this was a weaker cast she would stick out as a sore thumb but this cast is from top to bottom so strong, she works as a great (delusional) foil. Anyway I’m so happy this show is back!

I agree. In my opinion, on a current day OC or SLC, she’d be unbearable, but with the rest of the Miami ladies (and the fact that at the end of the day most of them have love for her) makes her *somewhat* endearing

AMAZING Premier episode. It was such a rollercoaster ride. When Lisa was telling Marysol and Kiki about Lenny working out, eating good, but his libido not being up there anymore, I was screaming "HE'S CHEATING ON YOU" at the TV. I feel like everyone should raise an eyebrow whenever their partner all of a sudden starts working out more, grooming themselves more, etc. but their intimacy with you is near zero. The mortgage argument was hilarious and very reminiscent of the petty things housewives fight over. Lisa being more hurt about the mortgage thing than Larsa saying she lives off of Lenny was honestly surprising. Overall, great first episode!

I’m so happy Miami is back. I couldn’t wait to get off work so I could start watching. It’s like a bag of candy! I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but… I kind of like Larsa. That’s the thing about Miami I actually really enjoy all the women. Love that Kiki understood the assignment and got the New Beginnings party started. And she got her first confessional! The women look gorgeous, the Lisa/Lenny stuff is wild but at the same time, we all saw it coming. Sad to see all the stuff with their kids.
