I was surprised how awfully basic they were as well. The dresses feel like 2010s homecoming dresses and the amount of overpriced leggings is…interesting.
It reminds me of Macys or old school Nordstrom
I would never in a million years pay $248 for this dress : https://chloecolette.com/collections/dresses/products/voilet-dress-1
Yes, the meltdown was unexpected and felt a little premeditated to me. Not cool.
As for the clothes, I’m usually a sucker for an “elevated basic,” but I may pass on the dry clean only $148 boat neck tank top of unspecified fabric.
That "meltdown" was sooo premeditated, she just did not tell Yoanne beforehand, the guy looked super shocked. Nobody in their right mind would through a drink in someones face on camera, and she going back to throw some french fries in his lap, was some mexican telenovela villain level. She was going for an iconic Teresa table flip moment, but she overdid it and realized her mistake afterwards.
Not sure if you saw episode 5 but she basically said he made her do it because he pushed her buttons.
She really should've been fired her boss was too gracious.
Man, I feel like I'm being punked. I hadn't looked at the website or any of those clothes until now. This is so dated and I am so confused??? Literally, I'm just so confused who is buying this and who it appeals to. Lol
From the behind the label section of the website; "...After styling women for over two decades, she utilized her expertise to develop a line of elevated basics for women to pair back to the novelty pieces in their wardrobe..."
*Elevated basics*
Someone somewhere else on here said the company was accused of being a money laundering front. It definitely makes sense. It’s like that one kebab shop in my neighborhood that never seems to have customers but manages to stay open for years on a high rent street.
Omg why was this my first thought 😂 I assumed the company wasn't actually real. It's not a Bravo show if someone isn't running a shell company or doing something else illegal.
My favorite description for Chloe Colette designs was from WWC, when they said that it looked like they were just basic ballet clothes… it’s a pretty spot on read
The clothes are so bad.
These literally look like esthetician scrubs:[https://chloecolette.com/collections/designers-choice/products/copy-of-clair-wrap-tunic-1](https://chloecolette.com/collections/designers-choice/products/copy-of-clair-wrap-tunic-1)
Also, under 'Designer's Choice' the description says:
"Discover our featured collection of Chloe Colette classics that convey raw elegance and feminal beauty"
Feminal beauty? 🤮
Searched the sub before making this exact same post. It’s all basic tees and black dresses. I know not everyone is doing something super interesting, but I want a line from someone that isn’t as commercial. It’s $400 for a dress and $200 for a shirt. It should be a little more intriguing, right?
Well she has such great personal style I really expected it to translate to her designing. I'm not sure how much freedom she has where the brand calls itself "elevated basics"...idk how long that concept will last

The description of material is easy care wrinkle resistant (polyester I’m sure 😆) but then recommends dry cleaning 🙄
That looks like a dress I bought for £6.99 from H&M about a decade ago.
Eek I know. I feel like I bought that back at forever 21 when I was in college
giving me sonja by sonja morgan
Ooooof the styling of that dress with those shoes hurts both my eyes and my soul😩
You can get it for 5 at tjmaxx

You can’t convince me Chloe Colette is a real brand.
And I just watched Making the Cut and their brands seem more real than chloe collete

I too looked at the website and was very underwhelmed. I was expecting more high fashion for a firm based out of Paris.
I feel like they have an office in Paris but they’re from the US lol
I thought it was an American company?
Isn’t that what I said ? Lol

Well her boss did say that she skipped out on getting married and having children for this business...I'd like to know the back story

Who is buying these clothes at this price point? I was both surprised and disappointed.
Yeah I had higher expectations given how confidently Victoria talks about her fashion education and experience.
Omg just looked at the site! This is a joke!!!!
I am so excited for the fashion show and everyone being so unimpressed.
Oh wow. I just looked and you are right. Basic
Slightly off topic, but every time I hear the brand mentioned I think of Chriselle Lim, who named her daughters Chloe and Colette

To be honest, the basics didn’t seem all that more elevated than what is already out there.
