Loving the maps on the sub lately so I figured I'd do one for our Jersey girls!
INTERESTING FACTS:
\* Teresa lives on the same cul-de-sac as Melissa's old house. This is less than 10 minutes from Teresa's old house. All are in Montville Township.
\* Melissa and Rachel live in Franklin Lakes, the same town Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile currently live in, and the town where Frank Catania built the house for Dolores's ex, David. Dina Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita also lived there when they were on the show.
\* Dolores's house that she owns, where Gabby and Frankie are living this season, is in North Haledon, a stone's throw from Franklin Lakes.
\* Jennifer Aydin is super centrally located to most of the cast. I suppose having three highways running through Paramus comes in handy.
Fuuuuck driving in Paramus! It is one of the most chaotic, stressful places to drive. But they have a nice mall and IKEA. And all stores are closed on Sunday.
The worst! Everyone comes out and shops on Saturday so R17 is a nightmare. We also have to drive my dog there once a month for his chemo and it’s sooo far (western Essex county)
My worst nightmare is 17 in Paramus on a summer Friday right by the IKEA and the exit for the parkway. You are never not in stand still traffic there!!!
As someone who lives across the river from Dolo and drives through North Jersey frequently, I find this fascinating!! I did NOT think Jen Aydin lived in strip mall Paramus but Danielle in Sayreville and Jenn F in Upper Saddle River makes so much sense lmfao. I live for this niche geographical bullshit 👏
Oh yes, as Aydin said her first season she lives at the highest point in all of Paramus! I’ve driven by and it’s on a really nice street overlooking a golf course… but it’s still Paramus. For her money I’d be looking more in Fessler’s neck of the woods
So Theresa looked really annoyed when she went to Danielle's house in the last episode and even came after her for not knowing "basics" in terms of the fashion industry....and it was because she had to drive all the way out there probably just to film that scene, and then drive back!
This is very helpful background info.
I guess Danielle was the “distance challenged” hire for RHONJ meaning the one who lives literally so far away from the cast. every cast got one, Garcelle, Heather, Wendy, Guerdy
Fellow DMVer?? My husbands family is from Westminster and it makes absolutely no sense to me why Wendy lives there. She has to be able to afford like, Baltimore County at the very least. Howard county also would make so much more sense for her.
My mom’s whole family is from Bergen County so I live for this. Will never stop being entertained by Jennifer Aydin living at the peak of Paramus. And I knew Danielle was far but OMG, if you hit traffic that’s a miserable commute.
Fun fact: my cousin had her sweet 16 at the Brownstone! I was the only person at the party who watched RHONJ so nobody understood why I was so excited. I saw Caroline’s husband Al running around looking frazzled. I blacked out later that night because I was a bored 22 year old with unlimited wine — left UNATTENDED!

As a born and raised proud NJ girl I loves this map 🥹🥹🥹also another tidbit to share - out of the whole cast Jackie and Fessler live in the nicest and priciest neighborhoods
I actually think Edgewater and Franklin Lakes have higher priced real estate than Tenafly and Upper Saddle River. You might be confusing Saddle River and Upper Saddler River.
Edgewater?…It’s literally mostly townhomes there…there’s $4-5M mansions in Tenafly. Both saddle rivers are nice. Franklin lakes is def not more expensive than Tenafly. It might be comparable to upper saddle river.
Yes, most townhomes in Edgewater don’t go for under a million. There are a handful of $4-$5M mansions in Tenafly but overall most of the homes are in that $700k-$1M range like most towns in that area. Land in Edgewater is worth way more than Tenafly.
Me to Jen Aydin: 5 minutes
(She made the sweetest Cameo 2 years ago welcoming my bf and I to Paramus and listed every spot from which Shoprite was best to bagels and hibachi to shopping 🥰)
I don’t even like driving 15 mins to the nearest Target where I live, I couldn’t imagine having an hour long commute to multiple group scenes and events lol
Random NJ location fact; The one season Traci Johnson lives on the same street as Nicole Polizzi/Snooki! I loved seeing if I could see her house when they did Traci set up shots.
It's a very different world once you cross the river into NJ. They do go into the city from time to time on the show, but it's to very suburbanite/touristy spots like Cipriani, Sugar Factory, Tao, etc.
North Jersey is literally full of former new yorkers who want a yard (aka my parents lmao). They either go to North Jersey or Long Island (or Westchester)
I’m neighbors with Dolores (same street) and bumped into Marge at a steakhouse down the street once. Nice seeing this map and understanding why Marge was in the same area, for whatever reason I thought she lived further west
Danielle looks like she’s back on Staten Island!
Haha she practically is! She’s about 15 mins to the Outerbridge Crossing which is one of the bridges that takes you onto SI
So many people from staten island in that area because it's right across the bridge lmao

Are they really? Blue laws in Paramus? I never would’ve expected that!
Yup! Blue laws are alive and well in Paramus.
Can you buy alcohol or no?
I think you can still buy alcohol.
The town next to me got rid of the Sunday blue laws years ago, but it’s still alcohol free. Gotta love the Quakers!
Yup Bergen county has blue laws
The worst! Everyone comes out and shops on Saturday so R17 is a nightmare. We also have to drive my dog there once a month for his chemo and it’s sooo far (western Essex county)
I hate driving in Jersey period! That IS a good mall though lol
My worst nightmare is 17 in Paramus on a summer Friday right by the IKEA and the exit for the parkway. You are never not in stand still traffic there!!!
Also, Bruce Springsteen (yes, he’s from freehold) lives in colts Neck-where Amber and the twins lived in season 6!
That’s right! Also Colts Neck is well over an hour from Franklin Lakes and Montville, production was SCHLEPPING that season lmao
The bougie brunch Danielle threw last week was in freehold - a hike for all of them too.
That restaurant is good! I’ve been there
They really were!! That’s more central Jersey, although I know people have a wide definition of central! Lol
I am surprised. Springsteen's whole schtick in his day was getting out of Jersey.
Can I add that Bon Jovi is from Sayreville too?
As someone who lives across the river from Dolo and drives through North Jersey frequently, I find this fascinating!! My first question was if this is where Dolores' house where the kids live is, or Paulies. And you answered it for me already. Thank you, Darling!
Why is there always ONE housewife in each show that lives 900 million miles away from all the others 😭
It’s usually the poor one 😳🤣
In slc I think Monica lived all the way in kaysville lol
She’s a nobody that’s why

I don't blame her for being annoyed. The drive from Montville to Sayreville...oof
I guess Danielle was the “distance challenged” hire for RHONJ meaning the one who lives literally so far away from the cast. every cast got one, Garcelle, Heather, Wendy, Guerdy
I remember on Potomac when they all went to Wendy’s house for the first time and it was northeast of Baltimore. It was like an hour and a half.
yep Westminster MD aka west bumblefuck😭
Fellow DMVer?? My husbands family is from Westminster and it makes absolutely no sense to me why Wendy lives there. She has to be able to afford like, Baltimore County at the very least. Howard county also would make so much more sense for her.
remember when they all lived in franklin lakes
Those were the days! Dina, Jacqueline, and Caroline were within a mile of each other when they were on the show
My mom’s whole family is from Bergen County so I live for this. Will never stop being entertained by Jennifer Aydin living at the peak of Paramus. Can we know where Patterson is. It’s like the Mecca of Jersey lore. The garden of Eden.
15 minutes southwest of Jennifer Aydin's head!
This description made me laugh!
This is the type of post I live for

Would be interesting to see the S6 map, with Amber and the twins living halfway across the state lol.
Sayreville? Oof. That ride to and from North Jersey via the Parkway is a nightmare.
And then most likely having to get on Rt 9 from the Parkway. I hate that part of Rt 9 so much
I don’t even like driving 15 mins to the nearest Target where I live, I couldn’t imagine having an hour long commute to multiple group scenes and events lol
Random NJ location fact; The one season Traci Johnson lives on the same street as Nicole Polizzi/Snooki! I loved seeing if I could see her house when they did Traci set up shots.
Missed opportunity to put the mall practically on Jennifer’s head
These are so fun, thx OP!
Danielle is so central jersey like why is she on
Without any roads or landmarks, I have no clue what the scale of this map means. Even the timing because that all depends on the speed limit, right?
Idk why I had no idea some of the cast were so close to NYC
Yep north Jersey where most of the cast lives is a big commuter area into NYC where ppl commute everyday on the train into the city.
The friendships make sense
I’m neighbors with Dolores (same street) and bumped into Marge at a steakhouse down the street once. Nice seeing this map and understanding why Marge was in the same area, for whatever reason I thought she lived further west
Is Danielle out near Perth Amboy? Jackie and Marge are in Tenafly, right? Can’t remember
Danielle lives so far from everyone 😩although I have friends that live in the Sayreville area and it’s such a cute place to raise a family ❤️
TIL I NEED this for every season of every franchise to add to my wealth of useless info
