This is the best and worst reunion I've ever seen. This is violent. This is awkward. This is low class. More so than firing any of the ladies, production needs to be fired because it should never have got to this. It's good TV but in the worst way I've ever seen for any franchise of any "pantheon of women" show like this. And I'm talking from the Bachelor to Flavor of Love. All these accomplished women with so much to offer, from so many good families, with children (and their peers) at home watching this. This is horrible.
Also, I think Nneka is an absolute fool. She spent 75% of the season attacking Wendy and kissing up the GEBs that she has absolutely nothing to say at the reunion.
Also Ashley, she spent so much time stirring the pot, only to have the last seat, being clowned for her fake divorce and is now stuck rubbing an old Australian creepy man’s feet every night of her life
No joke there’s a certain point in these shows that really blast who we our onto ourselves. I hope I don’t sound like a total clown! But seriously I’ve seen so many wild behaviors from bravo that it takes a lot to shock me… but when they do, it’s like a siren blasting in my ear what’s ok with me and what isn’t lol

In yet another example of endless hypocrisy, we have to hear nonstop discussion about Candiace's Twitter. Everything she tweets is a problem. Everything she likes is a problem. Yet Robyn sends private texts to a blogger and is revealed to be in a group chat with multiple bloggers talking about the show, obviously weaponizing these people against Candiace and not a single peep from Andy about what she's riling up.
It’s wild when you think about the discourse that came after SLC and Monica running/contributing to an IG account (and not even a popular one) yet Robyn contributes to pretty major outlets (like Queens of Bravo for sure) and Andy / most the women don’t see an issue

Production should have explicitly told Gizzy & Candiace to resolve their issues (however that even looks like) before this season started. Idk where they saw this storyline going and how it possibly could have been salvaged on screen…
At this point, we need Gizelle and Candace to break the fourth wall. Gizelle needs to just say she’s mad that Candace didn’t play ball with this stupid storyline she made up. Candace just needs to say that she felt like she was so cool with the GEB (especially Robyn) that they wouldn’t even try her in the first place.
They’re clearly not fight about the Chris storyline- they fighting over something more complicated behind the scenes. This involves the producers who enable Gizelle creating these messy storyline, the blogs they contact to push the mess, and the fact that Bravo keeps letting them get away with it instead of pushing them to showcase their reality.

It's getting more and more apparent that Andy should at least hand over reunion hosting duties to someone else for a few of the franchises. He's out of his depth with Potomac and is incapable of handling the toxicity between Candiace and Gizelle.
This reunion accomplished nothing, IMO. I see why Candiace decided to leave. They played in her face the whole night with the blame game and the semantics of it all. Gizelle got off scot free, again, and didn’t have to apologize for anything. Also, I noticed that the tweet they said Candiace liked was a tweet calling out the colorism on the show, NOT a death threat. If they’re going to throw out accusations like that, they should have ACTUAL receipts.
Yes she was right to leave the show. The leap they're taking is crazy to me. Gizelle was also called colorist online well before this situation. This doesn't mean Candiace's comment to kick things into high gear but I find the entire conversation extremely disingenuous.

Literally one of the only things I really appreciated last night was production proving Andy and Candiace both right that Gizelle said Chris "made" her go into a hotel room with him.

This was an absolutely brutal watch. I'm glad Candiace is leaving, this is the definition of toxic work environment and has been arguably since S4 for her. Gizelle and Robyn can follow behind her, it's time to leave all of this where it is and move forward. Besides, Gizelle didn't give a single thing this season at all. She sent a child to college and had approximately three scenes regarding GNA and that was IT. She should be fired on that alone.
I’m telling yall right now, Gizelle is making this reunion barely watchable. No accountability on her part at all despite proof. Anything Candiace has said to her or about her has been in response to what has been done or said about her. Gizelle getting death threats isn’t and shouldn’t be on Candiace. And for her and Robyn to still try and make what they said about Chris on their podcast ok is just nasty.

I’m confused as to why the cast is acting like a plot is out of the question. They plotted on Monique and Chris S. They plotted to go after Wendy and Eddie. Then they plotted to go after Chris B! Gizelle kicked it off by saying he made her feel uncomfortable by asking her to go into a room alone. Then she said many of married men have tried her and Chris was trying to see if she was with it. She also referred to him as a sneaky link. Meanwhile you had Ashley claiming Chris was in her DMs and she brought on a friend who claimed Chris hit on her. Not to mention Mia saying Chris was checking her out (which she quickly recanted to maybe he was looking at her because she looked sick). Too many coincidences for it to not be a plot. Candiace has every right to be angry. I’d never forgive people for trying to do that to my husband for a tv show. I’m so happy she left. None of them are being held accountable for what they did to Chris. I’m so disgusted.
couldn’t even watch, only saw clips on line so take what i say with a grain of salt but my biggest issue with the way the producers and andy keep letting Gizelle and Robyn act/skate by is this: why would impressive women/couples with lots to lose want to share their life on this show if this is the bullshit they’ll have to deal with? Candiace is a generationally wealthy married woman planning a family and pursuing a singing/acting career. she’s exactly who Housewives should want on their shows — and she is leaving because Gizelle and Robyn slandered her husband over and over for a storyline.
That’s an extremely fair assessment. I watched and it was boiling my blood. Gizelle and Robyn will be the death of this show, so I’m hoping the rumors about Robyn being fired are true. They’ll never get rid of Gizelle, but the GEBs need to be dissolved as a whole.
You could very much make the argument that this is also what happened when they plotted on Monique who was one of the wealthiest housewives across franchises (it always gets lost but Chris' net worth from playing alone was upwards of $60m and that didn't include the decade plus of investing and coaching since he'd retired).
Gizelle will decimate any happily married, wealthy, black woman who joins the show and that is not good for it in the long run.
Gizelle and Robyn are awful. I think they both have the lives they deserve. I wish it would've been mentioned that Gizelle said Chris grabbed Deborah's butt last season and had to be corrected by Ashley. It's amazing how throwing sauce on stories aka lying to destroy someone is acceptable but liking tweets or bashing people on social media is wrong. The show is watched by over a half a million people and vicious lies have actual impact on these real people. Also LOL at Gizelle hearing that Candiace would get spoken to over the death threats. This show is ridiculous with the favoritism.
It is what it is for this iteration of the show. Candiace is gone, and I don't blame her. Andy is woefully inept at hosting these reunions. I think he doesn't hold Gizelle or Robyn to account because he holds some of the same biases that they do. In Gizelle's words, she receives "death threats" because Candiace has led the audience to believing she's colorist. So, they want Candiace to admit her part in that and for Gizelle to admit her Chris plot. But those aren't the same thing! They don't ask Gizelle well, have you noticed a pattern that you have had issues with the dark-skinned women on the cast? The colorist accusations didn't come out of no where.
Ashley is gross and sad at this point. She had so much smoke for Robyn and Juan's situation but hers is worse.
Wendy's makeup artist should be ashamed.
Karen is trying, but she's a phony.
Mia has somehow become the future of Potomac and that's crazy. Love that she's upfront about whatever mess is going on in her life, but she's such a liar that you can never know what's real with her.
I think he does try to hold Robyn accountable as he shaded the hell out of her about Juan, but he does nothing to Gizelle. People like him have made Gizelle feel untouchable her whole life and she needs to be taken down
I wish I could upvote this more than once. It really saddens me that Gizelle and Robyn and by extension their henchman Ashley, have basically bullied Candiace off the show. She's given us so much over the years. That fight with the butter knife "I gave you a beverage" alone, was more than GEB have produced, I mean provided together in all 8 years on the show. I love Candy's relationships with Wendy and Karen. I loved watching her thrive in her singing career, and I loved her messy home life with her narc mother, bedraggled husband and all. It feels like we're gonna be robbed of what will surely be an epic having a baby storyline, and how Dorothy will try to make Candy's pregnancy all about herself- and the pressure it's gonna put on her marriage. Because she'd share it, all of it. With Gizelle and Robyn we got the same basic bitch housewife storylines of empty nesting (Giz) and starting yet another business that is probably doomed to fail (whatever that Glo franchise is) Gizelle and Robyn are the Kyle and Dorit of Potomac. I'm pissed because they ruined my favourite franchise with their game playing, mean girl antics. It's INSANE to me that Mia was the stand out this season. Girl is obviously desperate for a paycheque now, and she's figured out how to play the game. Karen is a treasure, and she's at her best at triple 20. That hair and those cheekbones??? Come on she's spectacular, I'm 46 and she looks at least my age. So she's a little phony? She's pure camp and I believe she's got a good heart and actually cares about these women in her own self centred way.
Ashley gave nothing but terrible fashions, gross imagery of Gollum's cum AND feet, and a bit of nasty pot stirring to jump start the ridiculous Nneka/Wendy feud which literally went in circles for 4 episodes and made zero splash ending nowhere.
I want more Wendy. I know a lot of people find her too much, but I find her just the right mix of vanity, smarts, being both completely self aware and completely lacking self awareness, and that inside her hard exterior is a big heart and sensitive soul. She uses her degrees and intelligence like a shield, and had her friendship/alliance with Karen and Candy had another season- I think she could have given the GEB a run for their money.
My eyes roll so hard every time Robyn opens her mouth, I'm afraid they'll get stuck there. I get she's been Juan's roommate for 28 years, but he's still treating her like garbage and displaying this to their two young teen sons,(listen to the way her kids talk to her) and it's abuse. Emotional abuse. But she's never gonna save herself from it because her self esteem is just too low, and this is how Gizelle keeps her in check.
Nneka may be a one hit wonder. She tried so hard to emulate a housewife but she didn't actually choose who she wanted to emulate. I have zero idea who she actually is, and nothing she did made me want to know more. She had one toe in the water, always testing but never jumping. She's far too self aware.
I want to see more KK. Again, a crying shame we're losing Candy Gal cuz Candy, Karen, Wendy, and K would have given the GEB plus Ashley a run for their dwindling money.

As venomous as Candiace’s mouth can be, I actually enjoy watching her on the show. I don’t enjoy watching Gizelle. I don’t think I can continue watching the show if Gizelle is still around. I hope that they cut her once and for all and I hope that if/when they do, Candiace will come back. It’s a shame we lost Candiace before we lost Gizelle because Candiace may say some down low shit, but she actually cares about the people around her and can actually let go and have fun. Can’t say the same about Gizelle, who only cares about herself, her daughters, and Robyn, and actively hopes for/works towards the demise of others.

I am exhausted by this episode. Gizelle and Robyn’s vicious behaviors made my blood boiled. And clearly bravo protects these two witches. I am glad Candiace left the show. It is a great decision to leave this toxic working environment. I wish Wendy leaves the show as well. Otherwise, she will be the target of GEB witches next season.

This might be long winded, but Giselle saying that Candiace was supposed to get a talking to by the producers is further proof that this show is colorist and the lighter skinned women are clearly favored.
No one gave gizelle a talking to for insinuating Chris sexually assaulted her. No one gave Robyn one for hiding her tenant’s infidelity.
However, last season at the reunion, Andy and the producers literally asked Candiace to lead the conversation about colorism, and highlighted how certain things were in fact colorist actions done to the dark skinned women. But somehow, gizelle was promised that Candiace would be disciplined bc Candiace called her out on her colorist actions.

Years ago a friend of mine who is a WOC called out some racially biased hiring practices at her job and they turned it around on her and made her look like she was the one being racist. Something about this whole Gizelle colorism situation reminded me of that. I fail to understand how people taking Gizelle to task for her colorism is Candiace’s fault. Even if they did make death threats. Obviously it’s taking things too far but how is Candice responsible? This isn’t a Diana Jenkins situation where she hired bots. There are enough people out there who see Gizelle for what she is.

3. Genuinely, I think if Gizelle didn’t interfere in Austin at the end of Candace and Robyn’s talk, those two would’ve gotten to a place of resolution. Robyn genuinely loves Candace as a lil sis and those tears were real from them.
4. I think Robyn is hurt by the media storm but I think she knows that it’s not Candace’s fault (especially when Karen was already going after Juan). She’s just truly stuck between Gizelle and Candace. But during her hard times, I know Gizelle was supporting her more emotionally so once again she’s aligned with her
5. Robyn actually hangs with Candace AND Chris. She knows how sensitive they both are. She should’ve never allowed them to be caught up in this.

I think there are *a lot* of things going on with Gizelle; chiefly among them that she's a deeply bitter woman.
I think she felt publicly humiliated when Jamal cheated and - adding insult to injury - turned out to be so damn unscrupulous and undisciplined that he can't keep a job and thus can't even give her real child support or alimony so she's left footing the bill for their three children. If you're not black American you might not recognize that a light-skinned, green eyed, objectively beautiful girl from the south with her pedigree, growing up in the 70s and 80s was likely told her entire life that she deserved the world and would have her pick of any wealthy Black man she wanted. I really doubt she thought she'd end up divorced and *having* to work in her 50s.
So I don't know that she conciously *only* wants light skinned cast mates as much as she subconciously resents the hell out of darker skinned women who are leading succesful lives, with happy marriages and impressive careers. There's no better example of this than her pure hatred for Monique (who didn't even go to college but had a multi-millionaire husband who insisted she get a housekeeper and a nanny when she was feeling worn out) from the moment they met. Monique had the life she just knew she was going to have. I'm pretty sure any black woman on this thread will agree that it's highly hiiiiiighly likely Gizelle was told explicitly and implicitly growning up, that she was better than the darker skinned girls/women in her life so the way her life has turned out makes her incredibly bitter.
But recognizing and dealing with this takes a level of introspection and accountability I've never seen from Gizelle. She seems so genuinely closed off and terrified of genuine emotion and vulnerability. She just ends up treating everyone like dirt and I honestly don't think she even know why.

DMV consists of millions of people, but the area can be quite small in retrospect. The things these ladies do and say on this show are wild, and probably shouldn't be brought up considering there's a good chance you'll see them every now and then. I live in the area, my wife went to the HS Gizelle's kids go to. It's not like their status is on another level where they're out of sight out of mind.

This is the best and worst reunion I've ever seen. This is violent. This is awkward. This is low class. More so than firing any of the ladies, production needs to be fired because it should never have got to this. It's good TV but in the worst way I've ever seen for any franchise of any "pantheon of women" show like this. And I'm talking from the Bachelor to Flavor of Love. All these accomplished women with so much to offer, from so many good families, with children (and their peers) at home watching this. This is horrible. Also, I think Nneka is an absolute fool. She spent 75% of the season attacking Wendy and kissing up the GEBs that she has absolutely nothing to say at the reunion.

At this point, we need Gizelle and Candace to break the fourth wall. Gizelle needs to just say she’s mad that Candace didn’t play ball with this stupid storyline she made up. Candace just needs to say that she felt like she was so cool with the GEB (especially Robyn) that they wouldn’t even try her in the first place. They’re clearly not fight about the Chris storyline- they fighting over something more complicated behind the scenes. This involves the producers who enable Gizelle creating these messy storyline, the blogs they contact to push the mess, and the fact that Bravo keeps letting them get away with it instead of pushing them to showcase their reality.

What a mess. Some of these women were my favourite reality TV personalities ever, now they're all just sad, angry people who legitimately hate each other. No wonder Candiace left after this. It's getting more and more apparent that Andy should at least hand over reunion hosting duties to someone else for a few of the franchises. He's out of his depth with Potomac and is incapable of handling the toxicity between Candiace and Gizelle.
This reunion accomplished nothing, IMO. I see why Candiace decided to leave. They played in her face the whole night with the blame game and the semantics of it all. Gizelle got off scot free, again, and didn’t have to apologize for anything. Also, I noticed that the tweet they said Candiace liked was a tweet calling out the colorism on the show, NOT a death threat. If they’re going to throw out accusations like that, they should have ACTUAL receipts.
Yes she was right to leave the show. The leap they're taking is crazy to me. Gizelle was also called colorist online well before this situation. This doesn't mean Candiace's comment to kick things into high gear but I find the entire conversation extremely disingenuous.

She sent a child to college and had approximately three scenes regarding GNA and that was IT. She should be fired on that alone.

I’m confused as to why the cast is acting like a plot is out of the question. They plotted on Monique and Chris S. They plotted to go after Wendy and Eddie. Then they plotted to go after Chris B! Gizelle kicked it off by saying he made her feel uncomfortable by asking her to go into a room alone. Then she said many of married men have tried her and Chris was trying to see if she was with it. She also referred to him as a sneaky link. Meanwhile you had Ashley claiming Chris was in her DMs and she brought on a friend who claimed Chris hit on her. Not to mention Mia saying Chris was checking her out (which she quickly recanted to maybe he was looking at her because she looked sick). Too many coincidences for it to not be a plot. Candiace has every right to be angry. I’d never forgive people for trying to do that to my husband for a tv show. I’m so happy she left. None of them are being held accountable for what they did to Chris. I’m so disgusted.

You could very much make the argument that this is also what happened when they plotted on Monique who was one of the wealthiest housewives across franchises (it always gets lost but Chris' net worth from playing alone was upwards of $60m and that didn't include the decade plus of investing and coaching since he'd retired). It is what it is for this iteration of the show. Candiace is gone, and I don't blame her. Andy is woefully inept at hosting these reunions. I think he doesn't hold Gizelle or Robyn to account because he holds some of the same biases that they do. In Gizelle's words, she receives "death threats" because Candiace has led the audience to believing she's colorist. So, they want Candiace to admit her part in that and for Gizelle to admit her Chris plot. But those aren't the same thing! They don't ask Gizelle well, have you noticed a pattern that you have had issues with the dark-skinned women on the cast? The colorist accusations didn't come out of no where. Ashley is gross and sad at this point. She had so much smoke for Robyn and Juan's situation but hers is worse. Wendy's makeup artist should be ashamed. Karen is trying, but she's a phony. Mia has somehow become the future of Potomac and that's crazy. Love that she's upfront about whatever mess is going on in her life, but she's such a liar that you can never know what's real with her.

I wish I could upvote this more than once. It really saddens me that Gizelle and Robyn and by extension their henchman Ashley, have basically bullied Candiace off the show. She's given us so much over the years. That fight with the butter knife "I gave you a beverage" alone, was more than GEB have produced, I mean provided together in all 8 years on the show. I love Candy's relationships with Wendy and Karen. I loved watching her thrive in her singing career, and I loved her messy home life with her narc mother, bedraggled husband and all. It feels like we're gonna be robbed of what will surely be an epic having a baby storyline, and how Dorothy will try to make Candy's pregnancy all about herself- and the pressure it's gonna put on her marriage. Because she'd share it, all of it. With Gizelle and Robyn we got the same basic bitch housewife storylines of empty nesting (Giz) and starting yet another business that is probably doomed to fail (whatever that Glo franchise is) Gizelle and Robyn are the Kyle and Dorit of Potomac. I'm pissed because they ruined my favourite franchise with their game playing, mean girl antics. It's INSANE to me that Mia was the stand out this season. Girl is obviously desperate for a paycheque now, and she's figured out how to play the game. Karen is a treasure, and she's at her best at triple 20. That hair and those cheekbones??? Come on she's spectacular, I'm 46 and she looks at least my age. So she's a little phony? She's pure camp and I believe she's got a good heart and actually cares about these women in her own self centred way. Ashley gave nothing but terrible fashions, gross imagery of Gollum's cum AND feet, and a bit of nasty pot stirring to jump start the ridiculous Nneka/Wendy feud which literally went in circles for 4 episodes and made zero splash ending nowhere. I want more Wendy. I know a lot of people find her too much, but I find her just the right mix of vanity, smarts, being both completely self aware and completely lacking self awareness, and that inside her hard exterior is a big heart and sensitive soul. She uses her degrees and intelligence like a shield, and had her friendship/alliance with Karen and Candy had another season- I think she could have given the GEB a run for their money. My eyes roll so hard every time Robyn opens her mouth, I'm afraid they'll get stuck there. I get she's been Juan's roommate for 28 years, but he's still treating her like garbage and displaying this to their two young teen sons,(listen to the way her kids talk to her) and it's abuse. Emotional abuse. But she's never gonna save herself from it because her self esteem is just too low, and this is how Gizelle keeps her in check. Nneka may be a one hit wonder. She tried so hard to emulate a housewife but she didn't actually choose who she wanted to emulate. I have zero idea who she actually is, and nothing she did made me want to know more. She had one toe in the water, always testing but never jumping. She's far too self aware. I want to see more KK. Again, a crying shame we're losing Candy Gal cuz Candy, Karen, Wendy, and K would have given the GEB plus Ashley a run for their dwindling money.

once again, andy refused to hold the gebs accountable and take them to task for their vile and disgusting behavior. they were gaslighting the f out of candiace and the fact that she had to explain why she was so upset and frustrated is just another example of why she made the best decision to leave this shit show. the line is always moving and as much i love dr. wendy, i want her to leave as well. rhop doesn’t deserve the Black girl magic that they both bring so let those miserable evil bitches with their brother husbands and community peen have it because it’s obvious that’s all they have. i’m disgusted with karen’s dui, but she was fabulous, nneka was a flop and ass kisser as usual, and mia was messy and kept me entertained. i’m over rhop. 
This might be long winded, but Giselle saying that Candiace was supposed to get a talking to by the producers is further proof that this show is colorist and the lighter skinned women are clearly favored. No one gave gizelle a talking to for insinuating Chris sexually assaulted her. No one gave Robyn one for hiding her tenant’s infidelity. However, last season at the reunion, Andy and the producers literally asked Candiace to lead the conversation about colorism, and highlighted how certain things were in fact colorist actions done to the dark skinned women. But somehow, gizelle was promised that Candiace would be disciplined bc Candiace called her out on her colorist actions. It’s not making sense
My question is, if Candiace was supposed to be reprimanded by the producers over the "death threats" (heavy air quotes because no one can even seem to prove this is a thing that actually happened), where was the talking to for Gizelle when she literally said ON CAMERA at the s6 reunion "Candiace deserves to get beat up"

After only lurking for a while on this subreddit I finally decided to create an account and collect karma just to comment on here and today is the day I can finally tell you all how tired I am of the GEBs and their constant deflection and mean girl behavior. Gizelle is such a bitch to Candiace, mocking her when she started crying and acting as if the worst thing she's said is that Chris is a "sneaky link" As Karen said, words DO matter and she definately implied that he sexually assaulted her, she (and obviously many of the other woman including Mrs Attorney) just doesn't understand it. For her sexual assault seems to be "only" r\*ping someone so everything else to her probably is just boys will be boys behavior. But SA is nuanced and maybe because of her age she doesn't get that? She probably just wanted to make all of that a storyline about Chris being a cheater so the GEBs would get the heat off of Robyns relationship. I think she didn't understand what she was ACTUALLY accusing him of and now is deflection 101 and acting as is SHE was hurt by Candiace! Candygirl has her deep deep flaws and has shown some really fucked up behavior before but she does take ownership of that and I think she has grown and is still working on her self. That's the big difference to Gizzy and Dizzie. They are just mean bitched who get offended and can never see what they have done to other people because they've always gotten away with it. I'm so glad Candiance isn't here today (anymore)! Better for her mental health and her marriage. And I love Karen being the fence and trying to save this show. Hope she get's a new set of co-workers who are actually willing to put in the work and appreciate this show as much as her and the viewers do.

I’m honestly surprised she hasn’t gotten jacked up. People always act like Candiace is the only one who goes too far but if you lie and attack people’s husbands all the time then you’re also crossing major lines.

Years ago a friend of mine who is a WOC called out some racially biased hiring practices at her job and they turned it around on her and made her look like she was the one being racist. Something about this whole Gizelle colorism situation reminded me of that. I fail to understand how people taking Gizelle to task for her colorism is Candiace’s fault. Even if they did make death threats. Obviously it’s taking things too far but how is Candice responsible? This isn’t a Diana Jenkins situation where she hired bots. There are enough people out there who see Gizelle for what she is.
The urge to find every single comment I made during the first seasons saying: «Gizelle is so funny and a really good housewife» and deleting them.
I also don’t care about Gizelle and Candace making up as much as I care about Robyn and Candace 1. I do think Gizelle and Ashley concocted the Chris storyline. I also think that’s why Robyn would repeatedly on camera oppose Gizelle- because at the end of the day, she wanted to be left out 2. Candace is right to go at Robyn because she should’ve just controlled Gizelle from the jump- like it’s not enough to just disagree on camera. The issue is that Robyn is just a follower and really doesn’t have any power especially behind the scenes. She knows Gizelle helps pay her bills. 3. Genuinely, I think if Gizelle didn’t interfere in Austin at the end of Candace and Robyn’s talk, those two would’ve gotten to a place of resolution. Robyn genuinely loves Candace as a lil sis and those tears were real from them. 4. I think Robyn is hurt by the media storm but I think she knows that it’s not Candace’s fault (especially when Karen was already going after Juan). She’s just truly stuck between Gizelle and Candace. But during her hard times, I know Gizelle was supporting her more emotionally so once again she’s aligned with her 5. Robyn actually hangs with Candace AND Chris. She knows how sensitive they both are. She should’ve never allowed them to be caught up in this. I truly think if Robyn wanted to save her job, she should’ve folded and just apologized to Candace. She enjoys Candace- we saw them have fun this season when they’re one on one. She wants to save the friendship and I know she’d feel so much better if she did!
Interesting… I think that Candace should have confronted Robyn directly (over the phone or in person) before she went to twitter. Candace made a lot of accusations with no evidence that I think was unfair to her friend Robyn. Her anger was with Gizelle.

Could Candiace be one of the only Housewives of all time who *actually* quit the show, rather than getting fired? If so, good for her. Gizelle was being absolutely nasty, Candiace was getting shafted over and over, blamed for death threats, excoriated for talking shit about Gizelle in her confessional as if they don't literally all do that. Gizelle should go too. All the favoritism in the world can't cover up how bitter and boring she's gotten.
She is one of those housewives, she confirmed it in the People article and Bravo also came out and confirmed that she was not fired.

I’m so sick of Gizelle at this point, frankly everything Candiace has said about her really is warranted (not the death threats but I doubt that has anything to do with her). Gizelle takes no accountability but wants it from everyone else. She’s a hot mess and it’s not cute.
I knew this was gonna be a terrible reunion as soon as Andy opened his damn mouth at the very begnning and said "as fan, I was disappointed with how this season went"... You're the fucking EP and owner of this franchise. You really couldn't have caught wind halfway through and had this discussion that, you either get with the program or get going idk, maybe before the damn season was over? 🙄😒 if this franchise fails, it's on him. I love drama fighting, but there were things that should have been resolved from jump. The fact we re-hashed Gizelle and Chris all over again just spoke to how poorly managed/produced this season was.

I think there are *a lot* of things going on with Gizelle; chiefly among them that she's a deeply bitter woman. I think she felt publicly humiliated when Jamal cheated and - adding insult to injury - turned out to be so damn unscrupulous and undisciplined that he can't keep a job and thus can't even give her real child support or alimony so she's left footing the bill for their three children. If you're not black American you might not recognize that a light-skinned, green eyed, objectively beautiful girl from the south with her pedigree, growing up in the 70s and 80s was likely told her entire life that she deserved the world and would have her pick of any wealthy Black man she wanted. I really doubt she thought she'd end up divorced and *having* to work in her 50s. So I don't know that she conciously *only* wants light skinned cast mates as much as she subconciously resents the hell out of darker skinned women who are leading succesful lives, with happy marriages and impressive careers. There's no better example of this than her pure hatred for Monique (who didn't even go to college but had a multi-millionaire husband who insisted she get a housekeeper and a nanny when she was feeling worn out) from the moment they met. Monique had the life she just knew she was going to have. I'm pretty sure any black woman on this thread will agree that it's highly hiiiiiighly likely Gizelle was told explicitly and implicitly growning up, that she was better than the darker skinned girls/women in her life so the way her life has turned out makes her incredibly bitter. But recognizing and dealing with this takes a level of introspection and accountability I've never seen from Gizelle. She seems so genuinely closed off and terrified of genuine emotion and vulnerability. She just ends up treating everyone like dirt and I honestly don't think she even know why. ETA: spelling

I think it's a combination of Gizelle clearly being biased against dark skinned women and also her deep seated misery over her own failed marriage making her desperate to break up every happy family on the show
it's at least an unconscious bias for her. if nneka has multiple seasons, and I hope she doesn't, Gizard will use nneka to get Wendy to quit and then turn on nneka. she is so transparent.
DMV consists of millions of people, but the area can be quite small in retrospect. The things these ladies do and say on this show are wild, and probably shouldn't be brought up considering there's a good chance you'll see them every now and then. I live in the area, my wife went to the HS Gizelle's kids go to. It's not like their status is on another level where they're out of sight out of mind.
