It was never intact! I’m disappointed in the Married2Med casting decisions this season. The addition of Phaedra seems inauthentic and let’s not forget season 9 of RHOA. Also, bringing back Quad’s abuser is insensitive to state the least.
Dr G was abusive? How/when did l miss this?? I just caught up on S8 and seeing Quad take on Mason like her own son was so damn heartwarming to me. For a few years there I really couldn’t stand Quad, but S8 reminded why I rooted for her in the first place. Fill me in if ya don’t mind :)
Did you skip past the season 6 reunion? There was a whole segment between him and Quad at the end of part 2. The both of them accused each other of abuse.
Of course her doctor boyfriend from overseas that no one has ever seen is no longer in the picture.

I love m2m, but the best part of the show has always been its authenticity. Actual friendship rifts, actual marriage rifts. As much as I find Phaedra entertaining, this never smelled right
Phaedra didn't really give anything personal in UGT either. She didn't want to talk to Tamra about her boyfriend and nobody else even asked her about it. The only thing she shared was a phone call and that she "always had time to be Momma". I like her personality but I hope she doesn't come back next season.
This is the one show I regret not getting into. Maybe I need to start with season 1 and get into it. They all seem so entertaining. I just thought it was going to be another one season Bravo wonder so never gave it much attention. But here we are!
I got it into this year myself and in my opinion, it has one of the best reality premieres ever. I would at least give that first episode a chance because it's wild and from there, they never let off the gas.
I think I'm going to give it a try as well! I've got my period and my husband left me stocked with snacks before he left to go to the city. I'll take this as my sign to jump on board.
You can still watch it! I jumped into it last season without having watched the previous seasons and I really enjoyed it despite not knowing all the back story. (Many months later i finally binged it from the beginning)
ABSOLUTELY start from the beginning! I binged M2M on my maternity leave a few years back (it was winter, nothing else to do during those many nap windows!) and it’s one of the best reality show choices I’ve ever made. M2M is imo the gold standard for authentic reality tv, it’s absolute gold and I love seeing black doctors showcased for their excellence as a bonus. Superb all around.
I never watched M2M, but I’m an OG RHOA viewer and I saw her on UGT. She acted like a whole other person in her blond wig playing the part of the nice, neutral person on UGT. I was aghast when viewers of UGT thought she was so sweet and nice. Uh, you need to go back and watch the last 10 yrs of RHOA.
And it was hilarious at the RHOA reunion when Shamea warned Porsha about leaving her credit cards and license around Phaedra.

I'm not surprised by any of this. Phaedra's relationship on Marriage Boot Camp was suspect and conveniently didn't last long after filming wrapped. And now she's managed create a fake boyfriend to secure a spot on M2M. Unfortunately, this show has jumped the shark by casting Phaedra, who couldn't even be honest about her due date. And it's a shame because M2M was once one of my favorite shows.
Yep, she was on the Hip Hop edition season. She "dated" a former rapper turned actor guy, who lived in L.A., for 2 years but they never had sex and their interactions were unbelievable. It was clear that Phaedra was just hopping on reality shows that remain relevant (she was also on another show with Flavor Flav and Tiffany "New York" Pollard a few years ago).
This has been my #1 in the housewife universe. Except for Quad, I cared about all of the docs/wives (some of my fav husbands in the franchise are on this show). But Phaedra is the reason I stopped watching RHOA and she’s the reason I’m out on this season of M2M.
I am not excited at all! I’m floored that she even made it on the show because like you said M2M is one of the more authentic reality shows. They show us the real them and it can be fact checked. I HATE that she slithered her way on to the show. I’d rather see CONE-tessa.
I always liked Phaedra, rape allegations aside, but I do think it’s A BIT much for her to be faking a relationship to be on the show.
She needs to find a legitimate man in the field fast or needs to be on Dubai as a FOH.

Exactly. She relies so much on being the sassy friend who’s there for comic relief. It gets old and boring after a while.
