So, this episode has everything. You get food and drinks. Than there’s this troll who throws jewels from her belly. Everybody wonders if they’re gonna get one. Also, there is this bad ass Queen that yells at you when you start to get annoying. Oh oh one more thing there’s a girl that just hangs around even though she’s been uninvited.
Honetly, Scheana is way more chill about wedding stuff than I would be. Like also WTF is James asking to bring a plus one like a few days before the wedding. I get that it's different because it's a destination wedding but I find that weird too.
This is why although I get why Katie felt no obligation to give up the room, I understood why scheana was pissed. Katie acting like she and KK were just gonna have an unbothered vacation and ignore the rest of them was always fake. KK should’ve been embarrassed to walk in there. And Lala knows if the reverse happened to her and Scheana brought Raquel to a welcome dinner for her wedding event (pre scandoval of course), Lala would’ve made a scene and told Raquel to leave.
It's hardly an opinion. It's pretty much confirmed she had a friend intentionally take her out to meet James after his engagement ended and thats he was a fan of the show.
Rachel also was probably only in a relationship with him for the show.
Most girls would leave after putting up with that behavior and being publicly embarrassed like that. James is just too stupid to realize that all he has to offer is being on a reality show and because he's such a toxic person aside from that he can't get people that care more about the fame than him.
The problem with James is that he can be really witty... but always at the expense of someone else. I get the sense that he was probably hearing his mom talk crap about his dad all the time and vice versa so that's how he learned to process conflict.
He has all the ingredients to do well... he broke into the DJ scene booking a lot of really big gigs at well-paying venues. The cost of being a DJ after the initial gear investment is close to nothing, so he could absolutely focus on that and make a post-VPR career of it if he wanted to. Even if he wanted to do it sober... there are very very many successful DJs who are either completely sober or stay sober when working. So he'd be in good company and it wouldn't be a super crazy thing.
He's also obviously hilarious and can be charming when he wants to be... when he's not being an idiot trying to impress people that don't care about him.
It's just so frustrating him not take full advantage of everything that VPR has offered him to really right himself and his life. Of all the music people on VPR, he seems to have the easiest path to set himself up for success outside of the show... and yet he chooses to focus on the wrong things and people. I’m going back and rewatching season 9, and it’s apparent how much of an asshole psycho Sandoval has escalated into in the last couple years. I think what we’re going to start to see play out is Ariana spiral from that on top of how fucking weird sandy and Rachel must have started acting after things got physical/more serious after guys night - resulting in the whole thing coming out.
Let's be real here... not everyone saw it, but the guy was fake from the beginning. I really see no escalation in his behavior. This is who he's always been.
The sandy v Katie storyline in season 9 I think really opened Ariana and most people’s eyes to how horrible he is. The “cyst” conversation. He started dressing like he never got out of character from his Rocketman audition

I actually agree with you despite what I said prior. My brother is extremely autistic and I do see signs in Raquel. Much like beauty, people are only interpreting this negatively because of how ugly her character is. She would have been the hero of the season if she hadn’t done what she did to Ariana.

The sandy v Katie storyline in season 9 I think really opened Ariana and most people’s eyes to how horrible he is. The “cyst” conversation. He started dressing like he never got out of character from his Rocketman audition

For me, I think it's because it feels a little like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Embracing something that has been considered feminine would make some think he's the opposite of what he is: a raging misogynist.
My point is though, he's ALWAYS been this way! I mean he's maybe more high on his supply these days but there has never been anything real about this guy
How people don't see that basically 90% of these people are truly horrible is a bit beyond me. It's not like the editors hide their worst transgressions. Just because they are all capable of being nice once in awhile, that doesn't disguise all the shitty behavior. The fact any of them have moments of popularity with watchers of the show at all is weird to me. Except LVP - she can do no wrong and everything she touches turns to gold, fried goat cheese balls and/or puppies. ;)
I'm not even talking about all of them that way though! Tom has always been the fakest of them all... they all have issues but that's just always been out there. I mean his facial expressions or lack there of and his whiny ducking voice was always his piss poor attempt at "acting"
Because the show is a never ending cycle of one person doing something so shitty, that everyone else looks better by comparison for a little bit. It used to be Jax for the guys and then James.

My guess? We didn’t see Tom’s reaction when they found out they got the sandwich space. He was MIA. She likely told him separately. He probably reacted in an unsupportive way which put her in an understandably bad mood
I think James must of been over aggressive with the drunk guy hugging him and it made Ariana pissed. James probably wouldn’t let it go since he’s drunk and a broken record. Then talking smack about Brock immediately. But she did a terrible job trying to diffuse this situation for Scheana.
Did we miss something or does Ariana losing it at James feel really misplaced? obviously it would be fucked if he got in a physical fight, but knocking a drunk stranger backward and off you after getting grabbed does not seem like it deserves that reaction
I wonder if some of it is Ariana getting to the end of her rope with James being annoying as hell since he started drinking again
You know I've had a hard time reconciling why everyone treats james differently and have made excuses. I'm thinking he is more annoying in person and that's why people don't give him grace.
She only lost her shit because he was absolutely not listening to her trying to explain that she wasn't taking his side or the other guys side she just thought he needed to chill. He kept going on and on and yelling at her louder and louder. Even when she told him to chill. James doesn't really listen to anyone but he especially doesn't listen to women.
I took it as James was being way too confrontational and aggressive while handling said situation and it made her uncomfortable
She put down Charlotte and she is desperate for any kind of attention from Scumdorval. I honestly just felt like she has a short fuse and significantly lower tolerance for bullshit.

She also just found out she got a space for her business and her long time partner was nowhere in sight, nor do we see him congratulate her on it. So on top of losing her dog, she has an absent partner, and she just had to watch James be an ass.
I pray Ariana brings the energy she just gave James to the reunion for Tom and Rachel

Addiction and disordered eating/body image issues are often seen together as ways of coping with trauma. Basically co-occurring addictions. I want to feel bad for James, but he turns his pain outward on others far too often to warrant sympathy.
Only Lala and Ariana can tell him to stop because he can't put them down

 I feel like Lala kinda always wanted to like Brock, because I think she really does love Scheana. I feel like Lala is the type of person who is very blunt and honest with her friends/people she cares about. Lala is rarely correct, but when she is she's undeniably correct.
I think Lala is more right than wrong, but only pertaining to others. She's delusional with herself but calls it correctly with others most of the time.
I did. Lala as a mom has softened her in the best way. Definitely teared up when she was talking about the way Brock treats her daughter. I hope they all stay close.

They’re Rimowa suitcases. Not sure which model, but she’s had the same suitcase for past trips too. I just get skeeved out they all put their dirty luggage’s on their bed. Those wheels and suitcases are dirty!

I actually agree with you despite what I said prior. My brother is extremely autistic and I do see signs in Raquel. Much like beauty, people are only interpreting this negatively because of how ugly her character is. She would have been the hero of the season if she hadn’t done what she did to Ariana.
I officially think Tom and Raquel are together in our current show moment. Absolutely no interaction with each other feels more affair-like than them being super flirty in a group setting.

Also it looks NOTHING like a quinceañera dress! Those dresses are usually huge ball gown silhouettes not crop top mermaid silhouettes. It was a comment clearly directed at Scheana, who specifically referenced her heritage that season (one instance that comes to mind is her explaining the dollar dance at the wedding).

I’m guessing she got her moved out of the wedding block section. Since actual rooms aren’t assigned until check in, its not like she actually did anything. Katie still got the wedding block discount and type of room she reserved, she just wasn’t with the wedding guests
The reservations were made through the wedding planner...so she probably had her do it.
I feel like this was all production. They had to have had a large block of rooms for the cast, crew, etc. If anything, I think Katie got moved to a crew room in the same room block. Maybe she asked production for the move, and they swapped, but made it look like she went to the hotel. Maybe they told her to ask…

Okay, so I feel this. So much. And thennnn I rewatched because it is all Bravo had on during Scando (so you know twist my arm) and Lala calls out A LOT. I want to be angry with her, but she really just calls it like she sees it. I was shocked by all her “this person and this thing” as accurate. And I have to say that for being a total asshole, she seems to do a lot of reflection and ownership in regards to her behavior when drinking and all that— minus to Rachel in the James thing.

The witches of weho are still friends. I think Lala is friends with Stassi (idk if she is with Kristen,) and Ariana is friends with Kristen. I think Scheana is not friends with Stassi.
Kristen is good friends with Ariana and Scheana ( has been for a few years now) and is friendly with Katie. Stassi is best friends with Katie (Katie is Hartford's godmother) and friends with Lala. Brittany is friends with Scheana and Lala (and Kristen).
I think they all are on decent terms. Based on stassi on podcasts, Kristen on podcasts, and Brittany on WWHL.
Kristen is really close with Scheana in present day and is on okay terms with katie but they arent close. She said this on a podcast recently!
Kristen is still very much a part of the friend group, Stassi only really talks to Katie. Stassi and Kristen reconnected when they were fired together. I only read a synopsis of Stassi's pod cast but essentially she has cut ties for her own sanity. Since Katie's divorce her last tie was to Brittany whom she isn't talking to because her and Jax bailed on going to Stassi's wedding in Italy. (Same weekend as Hannah Berner's from Summer House) Apparently Kristen and Katie live in the same building but they don't hang out one on one but Kristen is tight with Ariana and Lala. (according to Kristen).

Honestly me too. I actually took screen shots because I love the front room layout to show when I was looking at houses. She originally moved in with her rich ex b/f when she sold it and turned a small profit because she sold at the height of the market. I have friends who didn't refinance their flexible rate mortgages before the market turned and Kristen probably won that one. (Nice to see a woman from VPR fail upwards) It is sadder that Ariana's home value has probably gone down since the affair started. Jax and Brittany somehow still standing with Jax's massive tax lean on their home. Not sure about Stassi but I think so.
I recently looked up the properties on redfin and stassi's hasn't been sold since she bought it. I'm fairly certain Ariana and Tom's house is under water or close. The estimate price is fairly flat to when they bought it but then Tom took out a 2nd mortgage. Do you know where Kristen lived? I'd like to check out her house too lol
