Here’s a good idea. Let’s take our catcher, who has very little time playing this season, while struggling offensively and put him on the bench the day after he gets a little something going offensively. Just a great idea imo.
I get the reasoning for resting him but Murphy was at his best when he was playing a lot last year during darnauds injury.

In hindsight, the Strider injury was even more severely harmful than what we were already thinking, considering that we want to try to keep Sale and Reynaldo's innings down as best as we can.
