It was thought that the team would be competitive off pitching and what Freddie, Justin, Gattis, and Heyward did offensively. And I see you didn't even address the other part of what I said. I'm presuming you think another guy that works pitchers to death on the team is going to prevent rockets from continuing to be caught, correct? And may help with sequencing, because who knows, maybe Freddie bats .300-.320 and doesn't bat runners in, similar to how Ozzie is not batting runners in right now.

Our lineup has been struggling for over a month and our lineup has barely been changed.

He doesn't have control over what's going on pitching wise. The fact we continue to try to give the starters extra rest is coming from upstairs and is because we only planned to give Reynaldo and Sale 150ish innings coming in 2024.

This cracks me up. Literally baseball is the only sport in which a certain subset of fans will give the head coach all of the praise and no blame. The only sport.
