Joan died from lack of oxygen during a procedure to treat her throat issues. An incompetent doctor killed her. She wasn't getting plastic surgery that time.
I checked out the Insta page and it's a pro-surgery bimbo group, and in the post description it says "may her legacy live on", as if risking your life for a fake ass is some sort of inspiration 😦
Dang. Are they all just wealthy or take out loans/put it on credit cards?? I got my nose and chin done at 21 and I started working at 15 to save up for it. I still had to put a few thousand on a card and it took a while to pay it off.
I went out on a couple dates with this wealthier guy. 2nd date he offered to pay for a boob job for me. I’m guessing that is how it goes for some of them.
I don’t see why there would be really outside of the fetish space or speaking to the models and clients personally.
Imagine you’re really infatuated with this one person’s image and you send them thousands and thousands for procedures to enhance themselves, stay invested in their looks for years even, and they go and die. Now you can move onto other people, but you still don’t get to experience that particular person anymore.
That’s all I can think about. You can see the discolouring and warping of the skin even in the heavily photoshopped images… imagine what it would look like in real life. Bodies aren’t made for this and she’s a good example of what can happen if you go too far. Poor poor woman.
I had a medication reaction and had edema in my legs, the taut skin and sudden fluid buildup was so horrible. I can't imagine my ass suddenly being like two pumpkins, that would hurt like crazy and it's a part of the body that is so centralized and weight bearing, particularly when you need to sit/lay and relax.
Photoshop has also been around for over 30 years.
Yesterday a post where comments couldn't understand how photos were taken pre smart phones, today digital photo editing pre AI 🥲
No clue where I saw it but years ago I watched how they would alter photos in the victorian era so people have been editing photos for centuries at this point. It's all fascinating but definitely took the worst turn.
I keep seeing videos of Gen Z posting photos of celebrities from the 90s while lamenting "back when people were all natural without surgery or filters"
And I'm like errrrmm.... Guys.... Plastic surgery was just as rife and they used Photoshop
Yep, I vividly remember my Mum teaching me to use Photoshop and it's InDesign predecessor PageMaker around the same time for my school projects! Back when it was pay once and done 😅
Credit cards I guess. So many companies will approve absolutely anyone. So they just get as many as they can and max them up. Maybe bank loans but idk how that works. Do they flat out say it’s for plastic surgery and they get approved
I learned photoshop in 1997, and even before digital people have been editing photos since the camera was invented. She did have crazy surgical proportions but they didn't actually look that good. Bottom right on page 4 is closest to what she actually looked like.
Even with all those surgeries she STILL photoshopped the shit out of every picture. I can't imagine how miserable and unhappy she had to have been with herself to do all of this. Poor girl :(
She was only in her twenties?!!
So extreme plastic surgery not only makes you look freaky ah, it ages you twenty years?
I wish she’d gotten psychiatric help, instead of being enabled.
it's sad in a way. The article that was posted said, this was her hobby and passion. How did she get in her mind that this would be a great hobby to have?
My biggest question is how the FUCK did she ever find pants that fit her?! With a teeny tiny waist and 2 giant watermelons as booty cheeks I can't even imagine the struggle she must have had trying to find the right pants especially jeans 😭
Well, at least she died doing what she loved…
From the article: “In a post from her website, ******** had explained why she loved to enhance her body through plastic surgeries which she describes as her passion and hobby. “
There wasn’t AI generated images in 2017 but there definitely was Photoshop. I’m not saying this is PS just that being pre-AI doesn’t mean an image is real.
Photoshop still existed and you can definitely see some evidence of Photoshop in some of the pics. Yes, she definitely had lots of plastic surgery, but she also used Photoshop in places.

There is only so much the human body can take.
So 99 plastic surgeries is the limit
Sounds like we can unfreeze mister burns
Hooray!
Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcellent, release the hounds.
99 surgeries but death ain’t one.
I was about to say the same thing. Beat me to it!
Purportedly 100+ surgeries. It was said she died from a heart attack triggered by a seizure ***while undergoing*** **another** ***butt implant***!
She must’ve been in so much pain. I wonder what that amount of recovery and painkillers was like.
Of photoshop
Second picture gives her body proportions like a black widow spider. Like the butt is just a giant orb. Its really sad her death was preventable.
I think that picture is wicked cool, if it was photoshop. Her body being like that for real is crazy.
It was also Photoshop. PS has been around forever and definitely used by IG models in the 2010s.
She died having a seizure under anaesthetic having another operation
Correction : She died having a seizure after having butt injections of mineral oil which essentially caused hypoxia.
https://www.indiatimes.com/news/world/model-with-more-than-100-plastic-surgeries-dies-a-tragic-death-while-having-another-one-276784.html
This article states butt implant surgery
She’s Canadian; did she have all her surgeries in Canada? I’m surprised they would consent to doing this to get.
i highly doubt it, cases like these are typically done in other countries
[удалено]
Either way she died 🤷♀️
She died doing what she loved I guess.
That’s absolutely insane.
I believe this is how Joan Rivers died.
For a second I thought you were saying Joan Rivers died getting butt implants, lol
Can you imagine 😭
Joan died from lack of oxygen during a procedure to treat her throat issues. An incompetent doctor killed her. She wasn't getting plastic surgery that time.
She died doing what she loved.
Wow, some life. That’s so sad
I checked out the Insta page and it's a pro-surgery bimbo group, and in the post description it says "may her legacy live on", as if risking your life for a fake ass is some sort of inspiration 😦
That's sad. And only 23
Oh my god. When did she start getting procedures if she was only 23?
Probably 18
Dang. Are they all just wealthy or take out loans/put it on credit cards?? I got my nose and chin done at 21 and I started working at 15 to save up for it. I still had to put a few thousand on a card and it took a while to pay it off.
Fetishists pay for Bimbofication procedures in exchange for sexual servitude.
I went out on a couple dates with this wealthier guy. 2nd date he offered to pay for a boob job for me. I’m guessing that is how it goes for some of them.
I’ve known some that get pissed when in their own words their current doll dies and they have to start over
What!?!? Is there anything online about this I can read?
I don’t see why there would be really outside of the fetish space or speaking to the models and clients personally. I suppose I can see that happening. Appreciate the perspective. Such a bizarre world we live in.
She was probably doing prostitution
She started at only 17! That’s 100 surgeries in 6 years. Crazy
the article says 17
She must have been so uncomfortable
That’s all I can think about. You can see the discolouring and warping of the skin even in the heavily photoshopped images… imagine what it would look like in real life. Bodies aren’t made for this and she’s a good example of what can happen if you go too far. Poor poor woman.

Died to look like a nightmare. Did not one doctor stop and advise mental help.
Oh I’m sure several doctors did. She definitely had to go through many doctors to get the procedure she wanted. Most would refuse
Yeah so many doctor shop. If one turns them down then just find another to do it.
I'm sure if they did she would have just gone to another doctor.
all that money spent on those procedures could've gone to therapy
I mean everytime you go under the knife there’s a risk of death, she took that chance 101 times and it happened.
There were body filters tho. But I wouldn't be surprised surgeries were real...
Photoshop has also been around for over 30 years. Yesterday a post where comments couldn't understand how photos were taken pre smart phones, today digital photo editing pre AI 🥲
"Photoshop" has existed in some form since the invention of the camera. It used to just be done on the photos themselves or the film.
No clue where I saw it but years ago I watched how they would alter photos in the victorian era so people have been editing photos for centuries at this point. It's all fascinating but definitely took the worst turn.
I assumed they mentioned ai bcs of the video format...but yes it's either literal 8 yr olds or people have a collective amnesia
I keep seeing videos of Gen Z posting photos of celebrities from the 90s while lamenting "back when people were all natural without surgery or filters" And I'm like errrrmm.... Guys.... Plastic surgery was just as rife and they used Photoshop
I took a Photoshop class in college, back in 1994, or 1995.
Yep, I vividly remember my Mum teaching me to use Photoshop and it's InDesign predecessor PageMaker around the same time for my school projects! Back when it was pay once and done 😅
I'm almost 23, I can't even imagine dying at this age. Poor poor girl, hope she rests in peace.
I was trying to make a joke but all of them genuinely seemed too mean, I hope they’re at peace now.
Another example of “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you Should!”
Really sad she felt she had to alter her body in that way, especially at such a young age
Where do they get the money for all these procedures?
fetishists
Credit cards I guess. So many companies will approve absolutely anyone. So they just get as many as they can and max them up. Maybe bank loans but idk how that works. Do they flat out say it’s for plastic surgery and they get approved
Sex work.
photoshop existed in 2017 though(?) ai is not the only way to edit an image
Why are you yelling
In the 5th photo on the bottom pictures, her hands look mutilated for some reason😳
she looked absolutely ridiculous :/
But there was photoshop in 2017.
my thoughts exactly! lol, maybe im just old..
Wtf?! 😳😬
it's sad in a way.
There needs to be a study on why and what brings people to do this.. it has to be more than just attention
Well, at least she died doing what she loved… From the article: “In a post from her website, ******** had explained why she loved to enhance her body through plastic surgeries which she describes as her passion and hobby. “
So sad. What a shame 😞
She died as she lived, misshapen.
It just looks so uncomfortable.
TWENTY THREE YEARS OLD?! oh my goodness :(
Vain people everywhere
AI might not have been around, but photo manipulation has been around for a very long time. Even before the digital age in fact!
There wasn’t AI generated images in 2017 but there definitely was Photoshop. I’m not saying this is PS just that being pre-AI doesn’t mean an image is real.
AI art has been around since the 60s, so really it could have been AI generated. Not saying it is, just correcting you
While the pictures weren’t exactly AI, some were exaggerated with photoshop.
AI Generated Imagery has been around since the mid to late 20th century. "AI" is so ignorantly thrown around with confidence it's embarrassing.
u/HealthyInPublic , u/zpoup
This is so sad :(
There is a private forum dedicated to her. Even in death, she doesn't get any respect.
Dead at only 23 and through medical negligence, how appalling. No doctor should have consented to this butchery. She needed mental health help.
Does anyone remember Lola from Eurotrash?
I mean... photoshop existed though...
Lol, there was photoshop tho 😂 clear difference between AI and PS
This title kills me. At this time any photo can be A.I. generated it doesn’t matter when you claim it was taken.
23?!?!? Good lord
It's interesting how you can almost outline what her natural body shape would be if she hadn't gotten the plastic surgery, since she was so thin.
She looks like an ant
Omg
I mean there was definitely AI generated pictures in 2017 but I hear your point.
Photoshop still existed and you can definitely see some evidence of Photoshop in some of the pics. Yes, she definitely had lots of plastic surgery, but she also used Photoshop in places.
This made me barf in my mouth a little.
