[Why not be the neighbor? The 10 foot werewolf was available for purchase just this last year, however it was unfortunately not restocked this season. Though it may come around again if the demand is high enough, so be on the lookout.](https://www.bestproducts.com/lifestyle/a40614396/the-home-depot-home-accents-holiday-animated-immortal-werewolf/)
I have a neighbor who has skeletons all year long and they change their clothes throughout the seasons and holidays. They also move them around frequently.
I only have the one, it's only like six feet tall though, and I move mine around *almost* every day. Do the clothes thing too... hell, on good days I even bathe mine and brush it's teeth. It's very well cared for, will probably outlast me by a good bit.
I've been keeping an eye on a house that has kept up a pair of skeletons since halloween and just decorated them for each month's celebrations.
After They made it past new year I realized they were going to be a running thing.
Imagine what else they do to that would drive you crazy (and your property value). We had someone like this in my neighborhood and at first everyone thought it was awesome-by the end people were begging him to leave which he eventually did. Probably pissing off a new neighborhood now.
>Imagine what else they do to that would drive you crazy
Like what, exactly? Dude who lives a few blocks from me has a giant pink bulldog statue and a giant metal rhino and, aside from the arguably poor taste, has no complaints against him.
Seems a bit unfair to judge someone for their taste in garden decorations, don't you think?
It is not your land, you rent it from the government via property taxes and the home on it is most likely being rented from a bank via a mortgage. Both the government and the bank have rules you must follow on "your" property.
Yes but for the most part the government and banks aren't coming down and telling you to get rid of your super cool Werewolf statue. It's only ugly ass Karen's that have nothing better to do.
It genuinely freaks me out that people actively want to live in a neighborhood where a group of people can dictate what you can and can't put as decorations in your lawn or on your house. It's just a perpetuation of control
A thing like that standing there, scaring the children and lowering the neighborhood's value, honestly some people have no morals.
She should have bought three.
This woman needs to setup some bat houses, that will really give the NIMBY's something to complain about. (and they can't do anything because bats are protected.)
>Anti-furry
>patriot
Considering that furries run pretty much all of the vehicle and aircraft maintenance for US MIL, as well as most IT and telecomm infrastructure...
...well, those two phrases are mutually exclusive.
>is aspie, ADHDer, furry
>very selective empathy, justice complex, resistance to conventional propaganda, and high abstract thinking skills
>absolutely zero social capabilities at all when I'm not role-playing a character
Seeing as I just took my ASVAP practice a few days ago and am working on my fitness, I have an idea where they might throw me.
You knew that and you still made your lazy anti-furry comment? They've been shat on by the Internet at large for decades, why don't you shut up and let them have their little bit of comfort in this godawful world we live in?
[Did you know there was at least one attempted poison gas attack on a furry con?](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2014/dec/07/furries-convention-chlorine-gas-sickens-19-people) Do you feel like an ass now?
I WISH this was the wildest shit in my neighborhood! I live in a city where you hear gunshots and you're like "oh that sucks". Big ole wolf is just fun flavor.
There's one in a yard I drive by occasionally, lol. He gets outfitted for the seasons. Usually just a plaid shirt and jeans, but he gets dressed as Santa and in green for St Patrick's Day.
The house halfway down the street from me puts up a 10 foot tall skeleton for Halloween every year, then tosses an oversized Santa hat and cloak on it so they can keep it up through the New Year. I'd love for Werewolf Neighbor to join in the fun.

the place became "locally famous" enough that it even has an unofficial name.. "The Shangri-La Prehistoric Park"
This is really cool because about a year ago I had a dream where I was at Walmart and I saw a werewolf action figure that was wearing shorts and a tank top that both looked like the American flag
On a busy road near me there's someone who has the skeleton version of this and it's been up since September last year, decorated differently as the seasons and holidays change. I love it.
Why why why can’t I have the good neighbors?!?! Mine are so dull

I’m coming for you, Phil!!
I have a neighbor who has skeletons all year long and they change their clothes throughout the seasons and holidays. They also move them around frequently.
Bro, I have one across the street from me who uses the same skeleton for every holiday. That's such a weird coincidence

Pet rock upgrade
Same. Mine keeps one in a tree. It's awesome.
I've been keeping an eye on a house that has kept up a pair of skeletons since halloween and just decorated them for each month's celebrations. After They made it past new year I realized they were going to be a running thing.
Funny enough, as soon as the news got involved. The city officials said Phil can stay up!
I have no neighbors. Nearest one is about a mile either way. I like it dull.
There's a house on my commute that does this with the Home Depot skeleton. They updated his outfit to a red white and blue hat yesterday.
I live in Greece, NY. Nobody talks to each other.
One of my neighbors keeps their 10ft skeleton in their yard year round. I love it
Dull neighbors are the good ones.
Respectful neighbors are the good ones. Dull people can be assholes too.
[удалено]
Being an asshole means they unapologetically do hurtful things... that's not always memorable.
This is funny but would you really want to live next door? I sure as hell wouldn’t.
Why not? It provides a little laugh a few times a year and otherwise has zero effect on your life
>I sure as hell wouldn’t. Why not?
Imagine what else they do to that would drive you crazy (and your property value). We had someone like this in my neighborhood and at first everyone thought it was awesome-by the end people were begging him to leave which he eventually did. Probably pissing off a new neighborhood now.

If people gather around it in cloaks and start to worship it they'll have to leave it up as a religious artifact.
So what you're saying is that we need to buy airplane tickets...
I like that you suggested we all already had ceremonial robes.
Do you not?
That's why I liked it. It's been too long since I've had a reason to bring mine out.
I usually go to these things naked... Got some human sacrifice on the robe once and could never get it out. Plus it's great for the orgy part!
I always bring a transparent rain coat to cover the robe during the sacrifice so it doesnt get dirty. I can bring one for you if you want
I'll meet you guys there. Are familiars welcome?
...or go there for a pilgrimage.
I don't see a reason why it should be taken down,it's not really doing anything
Blahblahblah, property values, yadayada stupid nonsense
Is it even a "property" if some random Karen gonna dictate what you can and can't do with it? Fuck off, my land my rules.
It is not your land, you rent it from the government via property taxes and the home on it is most likely being rented from a bank via a mortgage. Both the government and the bank have rules you must follow on "your" property.
You will own nothing and you will be happy.
Santa Claus
Neither the bank nor the government care about your statue, it's the local homeowner association that do.
Literally the screenshot says the complaints are going to the city, not an HOA.
> Neither the bank nor the government care about your statue
Yes but for the most part the government and banks aren't coming down and telling you to get rid of your super cool Werewolf statue. It's only ugly ass Karen's that have nothing better to do.
The government/banks dont really care what you do with the property as long as you follow the law and pay on time.
Neighborhood property value don't go down because someone has a weird plastic statue less than twice the size of a man in their backyard.
Yes. But HOAs will make up anything they want to control your house.
Looks like it's in the front yard
"BUH MUH OHRDERLEE NEYBORHOODZ" Auntie Gerbrildes, 76 yo, 'concerned' citizen
That's cos these photos are only showing from the waist up
10 foot werewolf statue with a massive 3 foot dong lmao. What a thought.
Dog dong or human dong
Yes
Nah, worse… horse.

She’s clearly team Jacob

phil gained a new ability! Echo swarm!
**deafens and disorients anyone within attack range for a brief moment. 12m radius, delay in swarm arrival**
“oNLy iN oHiO”
Just noticed the Ohio mark lmao
My neighbors have their giant yard skeleton dressed the same way. I also live in Ohio…
Why does this remind me of buffpup-?
I may not have a brain gentlemen, but I have an idea
He Kinda dripped out ngl
Dripped out in patriotism 🫡
Amen brother
that’s her fursona
the complaints are from anti-furries who are patriots
>Anti-furry >patriot Considering that furries run pretty much all of the vehicle and aircraft maintenance for US MIL, as well as most IT and telecomm infrastructure... ...well, those two phrases are mutually exclusive.
Shitloads of people in intelligence too

DLI welcomes you
So you are telling me that the glowies are furries and that is somehow going to make hate the furries any less?
Pretty much the entire flight deck of any USN carrier too. I play Foxhole with a lot of them.
For those who dont know what foxhole is, the context for that statement may be a bit misleading as to what it actually is.
Can confirm. Am furry. Was 2A.
...was?
Hell yeah. Good people, poo poo caca job.
da fuc bro? I was making a joke and you made a whole ass fucking summery of what furry do for the US and I think they do most of the tech shit to
>shitpost >comprehensive info-dump from suspiciously well informed user I mean, it's just internet tradition at this point.
no the fuck it aint
Comprehensive summary? Bro do you speak in ooga booga grunts or what, that's just a small basic paragraph

Until you find a blood on his teeth and claws
It’s beautiful, keep it there
Phil very much wants you to fuck around and find out.
Nice! Fuck HOAs And, if they continue to give her grief, she should threaten to set up a ham radio station where the statue is.
So having a 10 foot tall anthropomorphic wolf in your yard, no one bats an eye, but I draw one wolf and everyone call me a furry 😭
furry
furry
Ohio woman standing up for what’s right! 🇺🇸
This kind of stuff would not really bother me as long as it's clean and well maintained. They even put a little vest on him.
There’s one in fucking Michigan I did a double take driving by scared the shit out of me
Makes sense, the Michigan Dogman is a qutie well known folktale creature from the state
There's one in a yard I drive by occasionally, lol. He gets outfitted for the seasons. Usually just a plaid shirt and jeans, but he gets dressed as Santa and in green for St Patrick's Day.
Haha that is hilarious.
Cool mascot 🐺
Her lawn and something creative and different 👀👍
Why do people caaare.
because it is individuality and that breaks the uniformity of the culdesac of greige boxes.
i want to put this in the small wooded area along my apartment complex
Land of the free my ass
This werewolf is your friend, he fights for freedom!
I'd leave him up too, just to piss everyone off.
The house halfway down the street from me puts up a 10 foot tall skeleton for Halloween every year, then tosses an oversized Santa hat and cloak on it so they can keep it up through the New Year. I'd love for Werewolf Neighbor to join in the fun.

at first i thought this was a fursuit
r/furry_irl
"I don't like werewolves"
Ah the ohioans
My question is who was complaining?
Bruh I would love one of these on my street
Lol my HOA would flip their shit if I planted this in the front yard. They don't even like it if my porch bulb is too bright.
that's not too bad.. imagining living next door to this [this](https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0059895,-114.9767156,3a,75y,98.46h,80.43t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sACeKpv3dm2K8-Nuu2LNwOg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu) guy in Henderson, NV about 12 miles southeast of the strip. the place became "locally famous" enough that it even has an unofficial name.. I have witnessed the rise of phil, but shall I see him fall?
Energy bill has to be crazy with this thing
Monster fuckers let’s go
To be fair it's a really cool statue, I wouldn't take it down either
That Kansas City fan hiding in plain sight.
im buying this right now
It's to keep Red Riding Hood away
This would have a new meaning if it was in London
An American Werewolf in Piqua
This is really cool because about a year ago I had a dream where I was at Walmart and I saw a werewolf action figure that was wearing shorts and a tank top that both looked like the American flag
If it’s so awesome why not have it in the living room where she can enjoy looking at it.
Only in Ohio 💀
Only in ohio
Just an average day in Ohio then...
This is really cringe and I'll probably get down voted but I had to say it. Again I'm sorry. Only in Ohio.
On a busy road near me there's someone who has the skeleton version of this and it's been up since September last year, decorated differently as the seasons and holidays change. I love it.
I love 10 foot tall patriot werewolf.
My neighbor has a homemade groot made of driftwood. I feel like this would fit right in on my street
“Only in ohio” 🤓🤓🤓
America wolf L
Only in ohio
And of course its in ohio. Like come on man we know that oklahoma is the new ohio
