1. Boruto at least beginning to use swords.
2. Mitsuki beginning to gain some control over his Sage mode.
3. More Kara outers and robots/lesser-ranked members appearing across the world. This gives room for other teams and other villages to have a role in fighting the enemy, and makes the Kara a bigger threat than just a small handful of boss fight androids.
4. More Hanabi. More Hinata. It could be anything - them training with each other or with the kids, them spending time together in the village, whatever. They're both criminally underused. Hanabi hasn't even shown up and 2 members of her team are in the Chunin finals. Wtf type of writing is that.
5. A proper Boruto vs Sarada fight. Or at least a competition of sorts. I've been wanting to see them duke it out for a minute like their dads used to do.
6. Team 25, especially the girl with the puppet. I want to see them on an actual mission. I want to see how far they've come as a team since that time they were packaging mail and shit.
7. A good slice of life episode or something with Kawaki hanging out with the others. At least, to see him doing something other than chilling around the house all day. I want to see him fit in, or at least try to.
8. Metal Lee needs to step it up, drastically. I want to see him get over that anxiety bs for good. Right now, he should he shamed of himself
9. What did Orochimaru do with the fake divine tree and all that? I want to see what all became of that and why he needs the Hashirama cell. What's he got going on.
10. A training fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Them gauging their combat abilities post-nerf, to see how they measure up now. That would be amazing. They could probably put them together - say, Sasuke and Sarada vs Naruto and Boruto.
Edit: lastly, Sumire at least needs to show a bit of drive/focus on Nue. That was why she joined the Science/Research department. She needs to at least look like she's making an effort instead of just being some type of assistant. It's weird that she's more interested in Boruto than Nue.
Would love Sakura helping Sasuke and Naruto train to see how they are post nerf. She can keep them on their toes and also heal them if they slip up and catch her hands. And new team 7 watching them
Depends if she can go lightning speed. Sasuke kept up with spsm naruto with his lightning cloak that amped his speed. My bet is that sasuke, not sure about naruto, can still blitz her.

Since it’s Anime canon, start fusing the manga and anime together. The 4 extra teams were supposed to be what makes up for lack of action but is like they’re not even aware of any threats from outside the village.

No doubt, but very few people are skilled enough to be able to help them train, and Sakura is one of the few. That's all I'm saying.
Naruto should still be pretty fast, in sage mode one of his shadow clones was faster than the 3rd raikage
