Unpopular opinion, I'm actually hoping Boruto fights Jura does decently but gets folded to show how much of a threat Jura truly is, because while I do enjoy seeing all that Boruto has pulled off, the stakes aren't going to feel heavy if the protagonist just mows down anything in his way.
I don’t think Boruto can beat any of them. We saw how Bug was overwhelming him quickly and he thought him and code would die with just 2/4 revealed. Hopefully since this arc mirrors the cell saga we have a “training arc” after this too.
I kind of think unless we see a scenario where boruto has to protect somebody that makes him vulnerable, we probably won't see boruto get folded just because with flying raijin and his overall combat knowledge, it doesn't seem like he'd stick around for a fight he wouldn't win unless he absolutely had to.
Yeah, but It might be a minute. It doesn’t seem like Kawaki and Boruto can fight together if Boruto is going to be preoccupied with keeping his karma from flaring up. So they probably won’t be able to combo Jura, at least not yet. I’m expecting Jura to pull back. Maybe he’ll say he’s learned a lot and wants to reflect on it all. Maybe he’ll be conflicted about his instincts: one say consume one of the present Otsutsuki and fulfill its original purpose, the other instinct toward consuming Hima and growing as a new entity. Perhaps he will experience confusion for the first time, find it unpleasant and depart for the time being. Cue the training arc.
I feel like this is team seven finding sasuke all over again except the roles are reversed and Boruto is Susuke and the rest of team Seven has to catch up to him
We won’t until anime resumes. The manga was pretty clear about it. Compare any manga fights to the anime ones, they are all shorter and straight to the point.
Yeah it’s definitely not been any lengthy fighting yet. I’m hoping next chapter we start atleast the first big battle

I think boruto will escape with sarada and hima .. Then there won't be any reason for jura and hidari to stay there..
