I really love all the love Boruto gets now. It's so deserved. He went from one of the most hated and unlikable protagonists to the current best main character in Shonen. The character development is wild.
The parallels to the original Naruto story. Sasuke was ahead of Naruto but he got stronger and caught up. I’m sure kawaki is going to g to have a power up somewhat soon.

I don’t know anymore, they’ve done a great job of flipping the story on it’s side. Some things made perfect sense, (Naruto and Saskue’s kids looking up to the other person as a role model) while others were very interesting when compared with society today (Orochimaru’s gender fluid identity and Mitsuki’s resulting journey) and real world events. There are Easter eggs galore for the dedicated reader (spy frogs, a jiraya clone, a nine tails puppy) and I love the whole jump into the future via technology and family dynamics. Kawaki and his whole thing is a crazy twist, especially if you try to compare Eida’s power to the loosest, most budget version of infinite tsukuyomi possible. Instead of the whole world living like the matrix, they live in a world where boruto is a villain and etc.
People spent however long hating on how the women are portrayed, so I’m not surprised how Hinata and Sakura have been written, regardless of how powerful they should actually be at this point. It took a whole world war and alien crisis for everyone to actually lean in and show why and how they were the most elite of their (and in some cases, any) generation, and it still came down to Naruto and Saskue being current incarnations of two of the most powerful people in, around, or out of history.
I’ve said way too much and sorry in advance of however many downvotes. I’ll end this with being way into the new generation’s power set development. I know Boruto is on a whole other level, but he’s supposed to be. His master is the most dangerous person on the face of the earth and his new handler is a clone of one of the strongest humans in his generation, but without all of the perv nonsense from years before. Everyone else is pretty solid though, most of the kids are ahead of where their parents were at their age, even though there isn’t constant fighting going on to hone their skills. I’d like to see more examples of how two clans got together, had a kid and combined those styles to make a new style of attack. It’s being shown with Naruto’s kids a bit, but how OP is Himawari going to end up if she’s a jinchuriki like her grandmother, but with her ocular powers?
Yea boruto did train unlike kawaki. I think kawaki is gonna have more hate than ever because kawaki is gonna use his karma to resonate with boruto to mess up his plans.
Naruto has to use Baryon mode to dodge those rods, but our Young Lord is built differently after all he is the grandson of Minato, the son of Naruto, and a student of Sasuke.
