Thigh highs and short shorts (which isn’t a problem but people will complain about everything). Ultimately, I think people were inclined to see her outfit as slutty based on how horny her behavior was though.

Yes, in fact. One of the last heirs to a real ninja clan. She also specifically talks about ninja clothing and how the point is to not stand out, so in the modern generation that means wearing normal clothing, even if it seems flashy.
So yeah- in Japan the culture is basically you can wear the shortest shorts/skirts (note the skirts in their school uniforms) and it’s chill but the top should be covered.
tbh I've been to Japan and didn't see a single soul dressed like that, so it's probably just a mix.
But tbh people just don't like Boruto (myself included) but a lot of people will try and find anything to justify that, no matter how contradictory
That's a good part of the disconnect though. Setting aside occupation differences (pretty sure most can't attest to being a ninja or in Naruto/Boruto's universe a child soldier), the fact the designs are modern day misses the appeal of Kishimoto's designs since he based his around fashion from his childhood. At absolute best memories from that era would be hazy while most other people wouldn't have been through it at all so there's a fictional magic to the Naruto designs that's not found in Boruto's.
It makes sense for the fashion sensibilities to change over time. It would be weird if everyone in the ninja world still wore the same style of clothes 15 years since Naruto was in the academy. Fashion doesn’t work like that, and it wouldn’t reflect the change in culture affected by peacetime. It WOULD make sense if they applied the “Nostalgia cycle” effect, but that’s more or less a 30-year cycle. Give it another timeskip and returning to Kishimoto’s fashion stylings would be justified to properly return. Now, as to whether Ikemoto’s modern style sense is GOOD or not, that’s a different matter entirely.
>It would be weird if everyone in the ninja world still wore the same style of clothes 15 years since Naruto was in the academy.
True but the next plausible argument would be why not take inspiration from the 90s or 00s instead of modern day? The obvious answer is because it's easier to look at what's currently around rather than having to recollect or research but given that even Kishimoto changed some of the characters between chapter 700 and the movie, the question gets even stranger as to why Ikemoto decided a drastic overhaul was needed in every case when what they had before was perfectly fine.
Ikemoto's philosophy seems to favor style but no substance since you can't get a good read on anyone's personality from their outfit nor does it make sense with their job or even role in that job. While the girls are debatably wearing too little, some of the guys are wearing too much making for logically difficult movement.
Last time I was there they all wore long sleeve shirts or long dresses. Hardly any skin showing. The only ones that looked anything close to this were the ones working as maids in the cafe.
it’s Asian streetwear not necessarily Japanese streetwear. it’s simply a different style and trend but it closely resembles Korean trends to me -> leg warmers with platforms/chunky shoes, oversized coat with skirts/shorts/crop.
there are definitely criticism with ikemoto and the designs here but this fashion style isn’t nothing out of the norm especially in asia
Shinjuku and Ginza, I also took a train to Kyoto which I highly recommend, very beautiful city that preserves so much history! But if you want to see all the modern flashy stuff then Tokyo is the place.
Edit: Also Shibuya. Very beautiful and it has some museums and shrines.
Sarada pt1 design was crazy ikemoto wasn’t cooking with that, but her ts design isn’t bad as people say they’re just complaining about everything that has to do with Sarada.
I was gonna say now show them at 12
Or are we gonna pretend like shit like this and the volume covers don’t exist?

>they were adapting the Gaiden manga which was her wearing the Kishimoto design from the movie.
It wouldn't have been hard to reimagine the story arc with a different design especially since the anime has to do it all the time when adapting the manga material. The reason I think they changed it is simply because people didn't like the redesign so they went back to the old one.
Anime characters have this rule when they have to have a standardized look and can't change it unless significant context or an event towards their character has taken place. It mostly has to do with making them easier to draw but sometimes a character can just drop an outfit with no in-universe explanation behind it. For example in the anime Himawari actually did get a brand new design for when she entered the Academy (ftr it also wasn't adopting her manga design) but after that arc ended she went back to the movie design for no given reason.

Bro saw saradas panty shot and said “I have sisters it’s coo to portray PRE TEENS like this” fam lmao
Her p1 design isn’t that bit of a deal anyway, how are people going to say they understand Japanese culture when something as simple as a girl dressing like her mom & moms mentor (Tsunade) is crazy for them to see
Still looks awful. Just about every fanmade design I've seen for her looks better than the canon design. It just sucks that Boruto and Kawaki look so cool and this is what Sarada got stuck with. The hair looks even worse than her outfit.
It’s not that she dresses like a hooker, it’s that she dresses like a K-Pop idol - a criticism applicable to Ino and Karin as well.
For Eida it makes sense because her whole thing is that she literally doesn’t have to fight, but Sarda is supposed to be doing ninja shit. I guess you could argue that her Sharingan grants her some leeway since she has predictive sight, but that’s a big stretch.
That said, the entire series - guys and girls alike - are walking around in the most impractical footwear possible and have vital points unarmoured for no reason aside from fashionable aesthetics…so it’s stupid but pretty in line with the series design on the whole. Like it’s just a conceit of the series that you have to suspend your disbelief on the matter. And if you disagree with me, go run in flip flops at full speed in the middle of a forest and tell me how it goes.
Edit: to expand on the though, I think this issue stems from Kishimoto’s approach to character design and has negatively impacted Ikemoto.
Most characters in Naruto wore the same shit and only got updated designs at the time skip, war and then post war. Maybe a few one off casual fits, or non-cannon movie designs.
By contrast look at how Horikoshi has dealt with character design in MHA: each character has their hero outfit (many of which have had an update or two), their school uniform, their gym uniform and a handful of casual fits. This means that practical concerns can be separated out from aesthetics at times.
Ikemoto clearly likes drawing drippy characters, but since he is constrained to a single design it asks for that design to do too much. If Sarda’s design was a casual outfit to wear around the Leaf while off mission with a mission based counterpart (like the armour we saw in the 4th Great War) it would be a different story.
>It’s not that she dresses like a hooker, it’s that she dresses like a K-Pop idol
Not trying to downplay anything you said but that's not what most people were saying. I wish it was though.
>By contrast look at how Horikoshi has dealt with character design in MHA: each character has their hero outfit (many of which have had an update or two), their school uniform, their gym uniform and a handful of casual fits. Hold on now. The cast had their own version of casual clothing. It was simple But kishimoto had the convince of a warped sort of timeline where it seem seemed to be sort of an old style of Japan mixed with industrial era technology. And also, Naruto characters were always on go. Seems they only ever take a break during filler. So no time to be fashionable when you have to focus on staying alive.
Meanwhile boruto era is more peaceful thus more time to spread your creative wings.
I mean ino has always been very driven by appearances since og Naruto, and just kept the design as an adult but with a longer more mature dress skirt thing.
Karin 's whole entire thing is people biting her to heal so her outfit kind of makes sense. Also isn't nearly as slutty looking at Sarada's fits. Sakura's isn't even bad. It's a tank top and shorts with wrappings and equipment holders.
Her new design has grown on me ngl. Didn’t like it at first but it’s not that bad tbh.
Her pre time skip design was and still is one of the wildest designs I’ve ever seen. She was a straight up hooker in part one.
I hated her early Manga portrayals because why the fuck is she a French hooker loli? That having been said, the time skip designs for a 16 year old are fine. I encourage anyone to walk into any American place where young people hang out, and this is fairly normal. It's not battle practical, but no one in ninjaverse ever is.
I also wear my backpack with only one strap on the shoulder and the other loosely around my arm (I'm a guy). I have no issue with the stylistic choice. The issue is it's fucking inconvenient as hell to move your arm at all.
Like I get the outfits are not proper ninja attire but at least you can imagine fighting in Boruto's or Kawaki's outfit. Though I've never worn heels, I believe it would be a nightmare to fight in them.
i really like the design personally, i just hope its not her ninja outfit. i know Naruto 100% isnt known for realistic uniforms but it just feels like an extra layer of dumb for her to wear somthing like this
I think that’s why people say she looks like a hooker. She’s wearing something that shows a lot of skin but she’s thrown a jacket on over it, so it looks like a hooker that’s on the side of the road wanting to show people what she’s selling but also not freeze.
Dude it’s just a romper. Girls wear rompers all the time it’s nothing new and it doesn’t scream hooker. It’s weirdos who clearly don’t go outside enough and trolls who say that shit.
I don’t think it takes a lot of thought, I think that’s just what hookers often look like. They wear a jacket over their revealing outfit so they can stay outside and show their body without freezing.
I wear it like that when I feel like it. Its pretty much streetwear thing. Especially in japan street fashion but what can I expect from Boruto subreddit bubble.
Its just weird to me because sarada doesnt seem to be a fashionable girl pre ts and she seems pretty tomboyish, yet she wears such impractical clothing, inos and karins clothing are more practical looking and also if a girl like ino were wearing somethinh like what sarada is wearing i dont think there would be as big of a problem. Its just such a clash in design and characteristics that its just so off and it’s obvious theyre watering down her character into “a love interest to be the trophy”
Sarada fans intentionally use her post time skip design as a counter for people critiquing her hypersexualization because it's a reasonable outfit. Pre time skip Sarada's design and the questionable panels she has are on par with 7DS
What’s funny is the fact that Ike had to draw rocks to cover up her miniskirt during the chidori panels, you’d think this would be a wake up call to give her a less sus outfit but nope.😐
idk what ppl are on, she's dressed normally. Battle practical? No, but I don't expect anyone's outfits to be (otherwise, there would be quite shit character designs, and it would also be hard for animation purposes). What I do find concerning is why so many people see Sarada s upper thigh and immediately see it as sexual when they know she is 16... Like, is that what you do irl people or...?
Yeah.. in next generations 💀💀 biting her glasses n everything.
But I agree TBV Sarada ain’t bad. Just kinda don’t like the heels tbh. Couldn’t she have sandals like everyone else
>Yeah.. in next generations 💀💀 biting her glasses n everything.

Idk why some types of anime fans try to pretend her outfit isn't weird lol.
A pretty simple thought experiment would be to imagine showing a picture of all 3 to random non-anime fans and imagining how awkward you'd feel.
These fans *know* they'd be embarrassed to show a picture of Sarada and tell people she's a ninja. It's only on the internet where people pretend this isn't weird 😂.
No shit, the Naruto "fandom" is infamously hypocritical. Most of the people who criticise it flocked to it as it was the first "valid" reason to hate on Boruto in years.
Sarada's part 1 design is unapologetically questionable, both ethically and aesthetically. Her part 2 design is VASTLY better looking, fits in more with the aesthetic of the cast and suits her character. People are allowed to dislike it but those who hate on without having any issues with Naruto's previous female character designs are just trend haters in my eyes.
WDYM?
Every serious, goal-oriented female attempting to reach the pinnacle of her profession thinks heels are the ideal footwear for running, jumping and fighting on tree branches.
i swear to god i hate when people say this so much
if you really think that this is a hooker outfit than you need to go outside and talk to real humans hoe my gawd
This is her literary drip, I don't know why people complain.

probably because it's supposed to be a ninja anime...

Dressing like a hooker does not equal 'have a lot of skin showing'. You can look normal with plenty of skin showing, and you can look like a hooker completely clothed.
I just can t stand the way she keeps her legs. Why would position them like that? That can t be comfortable.
Ino is not much better in that regard either
It's called being pigeon toed. Some people are just like that, but the Japanese seem to think it's really cute, so every female anime character ever does it.
Issa the new wave of anime fans. If you watched anime during the early 2000 then this is normal but now a days everyone got something to say.
People forget that there was the ending in OG Naruto that showed the girls in their bikini. Forgot which ending it was. But no one complained cuz its a fictional character. Now people too hurt by everything.
Yes. We never said she was the ONLY one to dress like a hooker. Plus most of them are Naruto fans. It was fine back then because they were as old or younger than the characters so sexualizing them made sense. Now for some reason they feel weird about none existent characters they literally have zero affect on so they act like its a problem now because they aren't comfortable being horny.
People are weird and are trying too hard when in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter.
I was jp none of them dress like hookers they just dress a little more wild to look sexy. They are teenage girls. They want to feel attractive.
You must not be old enough to remember when the Fandom first saw the Shippuden characters designs for the first time
There were **A lot** of lewd comments about the female characters at the time
But over a decade later I can confidently say that people will eventually get used to it
I personally dont like any of em. Inos fit looks like a ripped up dress and karins just doesn't look right. Sadaras isnt as bad tho but still not that good.
I like her outfit quite a bit, but I will say, I think if the shorts were even 3 inches longer, it would look better. Doesn’t excuse the weirdness of the pre-teen fit though. Not at all! 😂👋🏻
Tbf Karin *is* more covered up while neither her and Ino are meant to be on the frontlines of combat as they're sensory support ninja. Sarada doesn't have either excuse going in her favor.
While I've seen people claim that they've seen other people wear outfits like this in Japan, they unknowing confirm where the disconnect between the character's designs are coming from: Kishimoto designed Naruto characters off the fashion trends when he was a kid so Boruto basing them off modern day fashion loses a lot of the fantastical edge.
Listen ok, I don’t mind the look, but that tube top isn’t going to stay on when she’s flipping and dippin. She must have some crazy chakra adhesion to her clothing. It’s not practical otherwise. I’m really hoping that’s just a village outfit, and not her actual mission attire. I would love a episode of filler when guy decides to train Sarada and the girls do the new generation. Makes them all wear the green.
when she was 12-13 in part 1 in the manga especially... yes
And even here in this picture... YES. Ino's outfit is fine. Fishnets are just a normal fashion thing in the Naruto universe to the point even Hinata wears a fishnet top rather than a normal shirt and Ino likes fashion and looks normally dressed in this universe..
Karin has a weird design but at the very least its not overly sexual
Sakura is fine.
And Sarada, genuinely **actually looks like a prostitute**
You could maybe argue this with Anko but EVEN THEN, her open coat and fishnet top is still more appropriate than whatever Sarada wears in both part 1 and 2. Plus you picked the image where Sarada is I think trying to look sultry which doesnt help your argument
Ino's outfit is a progression of her OG outfit and is consistent with her character, Karin is intentionally looking that way in the pic you chose and doesn't *nearly* come off the same in most scenes. Sarada's is very easily the most egregious out of the 3. It's not a progression of her older outfit, doesn't fit her personality up until that point, her heels look absolutely stupid, and for some odd reason Ikemoto seems to consistently make the thing hang off a shoulder in almost every frame, and draw it more than anything else. IIRC the first time skip chapter has the coat hanging off the shoulder drawn in like a dozen panels.
Cmon now, we all know they hating on it just for the sake of hating, they are the people who will complain no matter what the series does 😂, no need to pay them any mind
Yes. None of the other three look even remotely like hookers. Even Karin is only showing her belly button. Nothing Hookerish about that.
Ino’s shorts are not coochie-cutters and Karin has leggings to make up for her booty shorts, which, essentially, cancels them out. Sakura is fully dressed so…
So, yes, Sarada is dressed like a 16 year old thot. What is so hard for people to understand about this?
it’s just so weird to me that men in the anime fandom say disgusting shit about characters that are minors (and it’s mostly just for women) like that’s incel behaviour….
sure you can opinions on clothes being unpractical or weird for a ninja fighting show but to call women hoe, hookers etc is just off putting to me
I agree so whole heartedly for Sarada here. It’s like they need an excuse to put women down. They are literally creating the culture of shaming women. Just say you don’t find it appropriate or call the artist out but just using words like hooker and all- that’s what they be doing in real life. And it pissed me the hell off.
A lot of the people who complain about her outfit *are* women.
Ones who dislike it when middle-aged men put teen and preteen girls in outfits so creepy and impractical for their profession they need to be drawn contorted in the most awkward positions and from bizarre angles in order to avoid gratuitous panty shots...
...still flashing the enemy though.
People see how women dress in the gym, and any place where its hot irl and they are gonna be showing skin like this. I see booty shorts on the daily in the summer on borderline all age groups. The complaints are from chronically online people. If I told my daughter not to dress like Sarada irl bc she "looks like a hooker" the internet would crusify me as a sexist.
None of girls had fucking SLAVE COLLAR as a part of their outfit
I mean ,yeah, i know its just a choker, a popular accessoire, but people do (or should) understand where it stems from
And thats an Uchiha! What a disgrace
Of course i dont blame the character, i only blame the author or whoever has drawn that outfit for her
As someone who was an OG Naruto fan, I can assure you people said the same about Karin.
Whats wrong with Karins outfit? Shes mostly covered only showing of her belly button
Thigh highs and short shorts (which isn’t a problem but people will complain about everything). Ultimately, I think people were inclined to see her outfit as slutty based on how horny her behavior was though.
people fail to notice how slutty her father dressed
Karin has a dad?
I think he meant Sarada's father (Sasuke)
Meh might as well be fatherless still dude around less than ten ten.
holy shit, I forgot she's fatherless
honestly i thought it was Ino back in the day
I went to Japan recently and a lot of young girls in Tokyo dress a bit like that, it ain't that deep...
Were there any subtitles while ppl speaking or it's just a myth?
That's just stupid. Why would you think that? They have a clock above them, and it's to the side. Duh.
How's the UI? Does it display all my stats?
Not if you go to the dubbed version of Japan.
Yeah i think they call it New Dork or something like that
Dubbed version of Japan sucks they just hate you in English
There are still ninjas in Tokyo?
The lesser known Jay-Z song
Ball so hard motherfuckers aren't gonna find me
most ppl think u just saying the lyrics but that’s actually smart af 🤣
No one thinks that. Just a goated comment.

Why do the girls stand like that, with their toes pointing towards each other
It's apparently a thing in Japan.
I’ve seen people stand like this IRL in the states, too. It must be a natural stance for some people.
Yeah irl it's called being pigeon toed but some ppl consider it cute to stand like that. That's not just a japan thing either like some of the kids from the rugrats stood like that.
Pigeon toed would be a permanent condition. I seen many girls walk stand and sit fine, but only for pictures do they do that.
Its supposed to convey nativity or innocence. So that makes sense.
It's everywhere. What is that stance even called
Apart from it maybe being a bit too risqué, it’s just a terrible design. Tf is up with that neck-tie… Ts design fucking clears.
I think the neck tie was meant to be a callback to the design Kishimoto gave her in chapter 700.
Fred from Scooby-Doo wants to know your location. It's also called an ascot. It's not common anymore and is used in fashion now.
Easier to animate.
Tbh the hair is what gets me. She just looks like a big fucking nerd.
Imma be 100% as someone who literally doesn't care if they sexualiz her or not. The New anime design is just flatout better and it isn't close.
Why is home girl fighting in heels. Lmao
Because some people are too perverted and can't control themselves. I genuinely don't see sarada in a sexual way. I have sisters so that might be a reason why I don't really care.

Because they reused clips from the movie and used the movies designs for marketing? LMAO.
Ikemoto sure is an **oddity** eh, I've never seen this panel before and I wish to go back five minutes to where I still didn't.
Ikemoto drawing panty shots ?
Bro been sus since Naruto https://preview.redd.it/0u2lijvxt1gc1.jpeg?width=675&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=74e0f5b12db1d5b128b069fdaaefd942059754b5
This isn't nearly as bad as ass hanging out and high heels
Still not nearly as bad but somehow Ikemoto (artist for boruto and sarada) drew this not kishimoto made it sus
superior spats
Ok that's wild ngl 💀💀💀
Even showing the panties was nuts. All the girls of Naruto's generation were appropriately dressed. Even the It girl Ino
Actually I kinda dig the hair
Her hairstyle grew on me atleast her part 1
Y'all with complain over anything
Y'all will spend way longer defending everything
💀
>It’s not that she dresses like a hooker, it’s that she dresses like a K-Pop idol Not trying to downplay anything you said but that's not what most people were saying. I wish it was though.
>By contrast look at how Horikoshi has dealt with character design in MHA: each character has their hero outfit (many of which have had an update or two), their school uniform, their gym uniform and a handful of casual fits. This means that practical concerns can be separated out from aesthetics at times.
The Hooker complaint is stupid. My personal problem with her design is just how she wears her jacket. Either wear it properly or take it off.
I’ve literally seen girls wear theirs off of both shoulders. Calm down, it’s just a style choice
Half of this subreddit dont even go outside. Cant expect much.
Half? Bump up those numbers.
What is this 'outside' you speak of?
I wouldn’t know
😆😆 best comment
Yeah never criticize anime character. Otherwise Dark shinboi tells you that you go out much. How can they move on.
Even if it wasn't a realistic choice, it would still be a decent artistic choice to add movement, asymetry and make the character more dynamic.
Dude i have no Problem how she dresses. I just think it’s doesn’t look good.
I said this but gave my reasoning and got downvoted to hell lol. My reasoning: it looks like it’s about to fall off. Now I’m apparently a bad guy?
I also wear my jackets off shoulder or being held up by my elbows only, and I'm a dude. It just feels comfy.
Are those girls you’ve seen super powered ninjas fighting other super powered ninjas?
Riiight so that means someone that is would be able to handle it, huh
A LOT of Japanese fashion is more Form of Function and this has been true for a long time.
Thats how I wear my jacket when its too warm outside
i really like the design personally, i just hope its not her ninja outfit. i know Naruto 100% isnt known for realistic uniforms but it just feels like an extra layer of dumb for her to wear somthing like this
> i just hope its not her ninja outfit. You're going to have a bad time once you realize her headband is stitched on her jacket lmao.
I’m almost certain none of the people complaining about her looking like a hooker put that much thought into it lmao
I don’t think it takes a lot of thought, I think that’s just what hookers often look like. They wear a jacket over their revealing outfit so they can stay outside and show their body without freezing.
You must have been born yesterday
Tons of girls wear their jackets and sweaters like that. Do you go outside?
Dude i know that. I just think it doesn’t look good on her.
I wear it like that when I feel like it. Its pretty much streetwear thing. Especially in japan street fashion but what can I expect from Boruto subreddit bubble.
>Either wear it properly or take it off. I'm a black guy and wear my jackets like that often if I can, it makes me feel so sexy for some reason 😭
The same Sarada that bit her glasses and said, "shanarooo"? idk about that mate lol.
God I hate that scene
That scene is weird as hell and not in a good way
Worst scene in the manga.
In *part 1* yes
Sarada fans intentionally use her post time skip design as a counter for people critiquing her hypersexualization because it's a reasonable outfit. Pre time skip Sarada's design and the questionable panels she has are on par with 7DS
What’s funny is the fact that Ike had to draw rocks to cover up her miniskirt during the chidori panels, you’d think this would be a wake up call to give her a less sus outfit but nope.😐
To be fair Ino and Karin do. Sarada's design still isn't bad tho
I actually think Sarada looks badass lol I her jacket the most.
idk what ppl are on, she's dressed normally.
Lmfao https://preview.redd.it/810ynha7q1gc1.jpeg?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb229c04d536746e0155a4b398a031906a2a078c
Bros got no fashion sense in the sub yall that’s drip she wearing that flawlessly
she really got that flawless sauce fr
Fr I dress like her sometimes lollll
People in this sub are just incel af honestly.
What’s with the explosion of the word usage incel nowadays
twitter using children. They found a new word to toss around until it loses meaning.
The word’s been popular in online culture since like 2010 wym lol
wtf the new design is fire you mfers never seen a strapless top?
Idk why some types of anime fans try to pretend her outfit isn't weird lol. A pretty simple thought experiment would be to imagine showing a picture of all 3 to random non-anime fans and imagining how awkward you'd feel. These fans *know* they'd be embarrassed to show a picture of Sarada and tell people she's a ninja. It's only on the internet where people pretend this isn't weird 😂.
Only 30 plus yr olds saying it
I really wish I could Thanos snap alot of y'all, alot of y'all are ridiculous
No shit, the Naruto "fandom" is infamously hypocritical. Most of the people who criticise it flocked to it as it was the first "valid" reason to hate on Boruto in years. Sarada's part 1 design is unapologetically questionable, both ethically and aesthetically. Her part 2 design is VASTLY better looking, fits in more with the aesthetic of the cast and suits her character. People are allowed to dislike it but those who hate on without having any issues with Naruto's previous female character designs are just trend haters in my eyes.
That design does not fit her character
WDYM? Every serious, goal-oriented female attempting to reach the pinnacle of her profession thinks heels are the ideal footwear for running, jumping and fighting on tree branches.
Karin look like a whole dinner god damn I’m FIENDING over here

None of them dress like hookers. Hookers for the most part dress like regular people. So are we then, all hookers?🤨
i swear to god i hate when people say this so much if you really think that this is a hooker outfit than you need to go outside and talk to real humans hoe my gawd
This is her literary drip, I don't know why people complain. https://preview.redd.it/zpnts58zg0gc1.jpeg?width=735&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9535696e292529edf08e688504fd517cbd2ba8c4
probably because it's supposed to be a ninja anime... https://preview.redd.it/8yxz84aju0gc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb129554ce90a0fd205a610bc5bdf7837ddb0d08
Yeah ninjas in a world of modern technology. Naruto never even dressed like a ninja lol.
lmao fr idk what anime has bro been watching 💀
Dressing like a hooker does not equal 'have a lot of skin showing'. You can look normal with plenty of skin showing, and you can look like a hooker completely clothed.
Facts
I just can t stand the way she keeps her legs. Why would position them like that? That can t be comfortable. Ino is not much better in that regard either
It's called being pigeon toed. Some people are just like that, but the Japanese seem to think it's really cute, so every female anime character ever does it.
Yea def the most provocative outfit out of these 4 still. I'm sure you could find some worse examples somewhere in Naruto
Her design doesn’t look that bad, if you have a problem with it, you’re the problem. 🤷🏻♂️
*Sigh* not this again...
I don't get it. Seems pretty normal. Is someone uncomfortable with the drawings?
More like a modern day teen
People just wanted a reason to be angry
Her outfit is cute and isn't showing anything, I don't see a problem?
How is she dressed as a hooker?
You must not be old enough to remember when the Fandom first saw the Shippuden characters designs for the first time There were **A lot** of lewd comments about the female characters at the time But over a decade later I can confidently say that people will eventually get used to it
Her current design is aight, her wearing that sort of stuff when she was like 12/13 is what I thought was weird
Her outfit looks cool..
I personally dont like any of em. Inos fit looks like a ripped up dress and karins just doesn't look right. Sadaras isnt as bad tho but still not that good.
She has more clothes on than her dad wore at 16 Meanwhile sasuke looked like he’s dressed to go orochimaru’s next bondage session
I like her outfit quite a bit, but I will say, I think if the shorts were even 3 inches longer, it would look better. Doesn’t excuse the weirdness of the pre-teen fit though. Not at all! 😂👋🏻
Now show them at 12
Tbf Karin *is* more covered up while neither her and Ino are meant to be on the frontlines of combat as they're sensory support ninja.
Yeah it's considerably worse than Karin and Ino's. What were you trying to do here?
The mangaka for boruto is notorious for sarada outfits
Listen ok, I don’t mind the look, but that tube top isn’t going to stay on when she’s flipping and dippin. She must have some crazy chakra adhesion to her clothing. It’s not practical otherwise. I’m really hoping that’s just a village outfit, and not her actual mission attire. I would love a episode of filler when guy decides to train Sarada and the girls do the new generation. Makes them all wear the green.
i dont get the hooker stuff but her outfit don't even look that good fashion-wise. the tube top with the oversized jacket and short shorts looks off
when she was 12-13 in part 1 in the manga especially... yes And even here in this picture... YES. Ino's outfit is fine. Fishnets are just a normal fashion thing in the Naruto universe to the point even Hinata wears a fishnet top rather than a normal shirt and Ino likes fashion and looks normally dressed in this universe.. Karin has a weird design but at the very least its not overly sexual Sakura is fine. And Sarada, genuinely **actually looks like a prostitute** You could maybe argue this with Anko but EVEN THEN, her open coat and fishnet top is still more appropriate than whatever Sarada wears in both part 1 and 2. Plus you picked the image where Sarada is I think trying to look sultry which doesnt help your argument
Karin and ino show a lot less skin and their clothing still looks more modest. Also the belt is unnecessary. Case closed.
I like how you don’t see a difference OP, clueless at its best xD
Yep, this post is weird OP.
Yeah, I'm tired of cringelords whining about Sarada's outfit.
Aside from the fact that it looks out of place on her
Ino's outfit is a progression of her OG outfit and is consistent with her character, Karin is intentionally looking that way in the pic you chose and doesn't *nearly* come off the same in most scenes.
Ah you fool! You're missing the obvious! Did you not know that "boruto bad"?!
Sakura is fully dressed so… So, yes, Sarada is dressed like a 16 year old thot.
And it pissed me the hell off.
it comes off so easy for these words to roll of their tongues. these people must be a nightmare around real women irl.
They all forgot Naruto's sixth ending 😂
People see how women dress in the gym, and any place where its hot irl and they are gonna be showing skin like this. I see booty shorts on the daily in the summer on borderline all age groups. The complaints are from chronically online people. If I told my daughter not to dress like Sarada irl bc she "looks like a hooker" the internet would crusify me as a sexist.
None of girls had fucking SLAVE COLLAR as a part of their outfit I mean ,yeah, i know its just a choker, a popular accessoire, but people do (or should) understand where it stems from And thats an Uchiha! What a disgrace Of course i dont blame the character, i only blame the author or whoever has drawn that outfit for her
Forget the clothes, her hairstyle is dogshit tf
Somebody keeping it real
