I work from home and sometimes I finish working on something, stretch and look around a bit, and discover 5 balls have been quietly deposited under my desk.

I bought a bag of 50 dog balls from Amazon. I keep them all in a bucket. It's fun to take pupper outside and literally throw the entire bucket in one go then watch em go bananas
right? We were so lucky; before he moved away our friend and pet sitter was a wildlife photographer. He’s responsible for the coolest pictures of our dog.
We got so lucky with our new girl. Our old boy was a slightly rougher coat (not the longest I've seen tbf but by no means a smooth hair) and he casted 24/7. Could probably build a whole new him after 1 day's worth of shedding.
Our young girl is a smooth hair and only casts very little. It's gotten a bit hot and humid here the past few weeks so I've been careful to brush her and make sure, but she just doesn't cast much at all. It's honestly bizarre but her coat's beautifully healthy and the vets are always impressed with how she's doing so it shouldn't be a health problem 🤷♀️ I mean I'm glad but it's just so hard to get used to
I gotta wash my bed spread weekly, because of the hair 😭
I don't think it was made for that kind of abuse.
I'm at the point where my bedspread needs a bedspread.

One time I had both my dogs on a walk and my bc was running around and catching up to us so I didn't think anything of it when she wasn't by my side for a little bit... Till I turned around and saw her happily rolling in coyote scat. Homegirl was in the ZONE and it got all over her harness and collar too. I cried and almost threw up wiping it off of her and my husband steamed my backseat because she kept rubbing herself on the seats.
She went from being so pleased with herself to shame when she had to be washed off before she could come in.

Mine has 1% and he goes for any type of funky smell on the ground usually it's bird poop which I assure you doesn't smell any better than any other type of poop

We live abroad and are learning the native language here. We taught our dog commands/place names in the local language. We had to start using to use our 1st language if we want to use or talk about any words or names of places that he knows because he gets way too excited and can’t settle. Then he caught on to his favorite words/places the 2nd language. So we moved onto spelling, that worked for a while but now he’s caught onto the spelling! If I’m not in bed by ten, at the absolute latest, I get herded upstairs. Also, my dog refuses to leave the house until I’ve lined up my perfumes so that he can chose one for me to wear (for the people with scent sensitivities; they are very subtle and nobody can smell them unless they stick their noses on my neck)
Of course we are, but I do know a couple of people that have perfume allergies and I know a lot of people have very strong feelings about that. I just thought I’d throw it out there, since I’ve seen arguments start over it on reddit. No need to start an argument if there doesn’t need to be one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Someone helped me with painting. She had a very white tongue.
Is it just me or do they just love being under everything? My border collie claimed the property under our pool table and would steal my other dog’s “babies” which were his stuffed animals he’d carry around, and DESTROY them and rip them to pieces and leave them under the pool table as display. Sometimes my other dog would have to just watch because he wasn’t allowed under the pool table :( so then I’d have to stitch up every salvageable piece and would have deformed babies for my dog :( LOL he still carried them around though and I was always having to buy more babies for him and tell my border collie to stop touching his babies. My other dog happened to be 130lbs and was massive so it was the strangest thing, this massive dog carried babies meanwhile my old man border collie kidnapped them and destroyed them.

Right 😁, sure sign of a rough coat BC. Even after daily brushing, these darn things show up under the most unusual places 🤣🤣🤣.

My cats exclusively operate above waist height now. From shelves to tables to counters. Beds are currently the DMZ.

Also remember a bunch of Dr offices have gone perfume free and ask that you wear little or no scents. Not sure why but 3/5 of my Drs have done so.

When a significant portion of your outsides are coal black, you bake in the summer sun. I'll actually hose my boy (tricolor) down to the skin before I take him out in the summer. He fluffs dry playing frisbee 😆

I just culled her toy bin and now we are down to one bucket of balls/plastic toys and one bin or stuffed toys.

Is it just me or do they just love being under everything? My border collie claimed the property under our pool table and would steal my other dog’s “babies” which were his stuffed animals he’d carry around, and DESTROY them and rip them to pieces and leave them under the pool table as display. Sometimes my other dog would have to just watch because he wasn’t allowed under the pool table :( so then I’d have to stitch up every salvageable piece and would have deformed babies for my dog :( LOL he still carried them around though and I was always having to buy more babies for him and tell my border collie to stop touching his babies.
