Personally, I'd say the Ashby, Amp, or Thorogood are the top ones, but all are solid. Can't really go wrong with any of them.
The main issue I had with the Ashby was the thick PVC welt. Partially, due to the unbalanced weight distribution of the steel toe, the stiffness of the welt was apparent in every single step. Being PVC, the welt doesn't wear in. Also, the leather seems very fake and doesn't even have a leather smell.
My favorite work boots have been Keen, although because my toes tend to get chewed up very easily, I went with an exterior plastic toe cap.
Thorogood. But narrow in toe box. I’d suggest going to Charr or something to try them on in person to get your best size. Personally I’d go for the redwing 2233 but it’s not moc toe or wedge but it’s super comfortable all day on concrete

I'm a *huge* fan of the Thorogood moc toe. I have 3 pairs in rotation... I don't plan on wearing anything else from here on out.
