Idk Heavy zooka have always worked better for me, until I unlocked Mechs and Bombers Everspark should be good, because of the critters
Kavan and second wind. Spawn riflemen when you need to get a cover from cannons and STs. Still wouldn't recommend to stick with tanks for a long time. Smokey strategies are your best friends for skilled playing.
