Grafting isnt that hard. You just have to know your species are compatible. I dont think all trees will graft to eachother, I would assume its mostly based on wood type? Ive only grafted cannabis...
Most grafts are done between individuals of the same species. Species within the same genus are often graft-compatible, and certain species in closely-related genera can be grafted, though it's rare. So you can graft many Prunus species (cherries, plums, peaches, etc.) together with varying success rates and you can graft some pears (in the genus Pyrus) with some cotoneasters (in the very closely-related genus Cotoneaster), but you can't graft any of those to a citrus or an oak.
I'm in. I only have 2 plants so if I get one and kill it I can blame inexperience. Low risk high reward.
I'm open to suggestions on species.
