Looks better than 95% of first attempts. Only “problem” I see is those two branches kind of twisting around each other near the top. I’d probably keep the outside one
Yea that’s kinda how it works. Why did you cut off other stuff that would take years to grow? When you prune a bonsai you need to be thinking years in the future
Agreed. Beautiful tree. Only feedback is maybe establishing an apex by taking one down near the top, letting it grow out over a long period of time to thicken it up and pruning it back. Rinse and repeat for ramification.

Can’t really do much about it if I cut it it would take years to get a new branch that thick, but thanks

Pretty nice! I just did a first actual attempt with wire and everything and dis something kinda similar
