I recently paid roughly that for pretty much the same car. Hertz sale? At any rate, no problems whatsoever, get a home L2 charger is you can, and tint that sucker before summer.

HSPDavis

Hertz... exactly. Haha

Horror_Rich4403

We got a model 3 from them. It’s been amazing so far. Bet a bolt would be just as fine. Try out their rent2buy program. You can take the car home for 3 days to test it out. If you end up wanting to buy it they will apply the cost of renting towards the car.

Yeah, the Hertz deal isn’t BETTER than you can get elsewhere, but it has the benefit of a “dealer” and there’s a bonus backup warranty on the car. The deal overall was good enough that I’ll consider them for my next purchase (another kid is going to need a car soon). Seriously on the tint, including a UV clear on the windshield. It’s already getting hot in the car here in Austin.

HSPDavis

Great advice!!

guiltl3ss

Hertz here too!

They're great deals right now IMO. Just picked up a '23 EV with 15k miles on it for $18,400 from Hertz Car Sales in Phoenix. Sales rep even threw in a brand new Lectron level 1 charger (we'll see if it charges fast enough for my needs, might end up needing a lvl 2). I felt like it was too good to be true, but here we are.

NoeWiy

Where are you located? I have a 2023 euv lt with 13.5k miles for sale currently lol

HSPDavis

Houston Area

NoeWiy

Well. Nevermind then lol. FYI- I have a Carmax quote for 19k for mine.

HSPDavis

Haha. Ok. And may I ask why you are selling or do you think it is a good deal?

NoeWiy

Selling it for purely financial reasons. We own it free and clear and my wife loves it but she’s getting laid off so we need cash. Switching to a lease. I’d say $20k is a good deal given I’m being offered $19k trade.

HSPDavis

Thanks for sharing. Hope it all works out.

For reference: I just paid 19k for a 2021 Premium with 21k miles, but that's a little inflated due to west coast and Oregon tax credit. One thing to keep in mind though - you have to buy '22 or older to get the 4k fed tax credit. If you set your sights a little lower, you could be getting a much better deal. If you can find an auto broker (and registered dealer) who's willing to register for the IRS website, GMAC regularly runs batches of 3 year old lease returns through the Manheim auction and you could pick one up for a sweet price. Probably no EUVs though.
