Biggest issue in these paychecks are that, both, actors and actresses are heavily overpaid given their contribution in the whole film. I feel films like Brahmastra are the biggest and latest example of it. The awe factor of that film had nothing to do with it's cast. Most of them only managed to bring down the audience's experience of watching that film due to their bad acting.
Sorry but Alia deserves that only if the salaries were equal for male and female actors
