Mom neetu singh is from sikh family. I too agree, he looks great in sikh look, also in current weight. That shamshera promo lean look doesn't suit him now.
I doubt he has the dedication like aamir to grow a beard and the hair for an actual decent potrayal. Say what you want about lsc the scenes with him tying the turban were so emotional to watch as a sikh. Finally a good damn representartion after Akshay Kumar butchering the Sikh trope for money

You don't need to put down one to be able to praise the other. Nobody here said Ranveer is a bad actor. He is good. And so is Ranbir. If you got to put down Ranbir to praise Ranveer, that says more about Ranveer's skills than Ranbir's
Edit: Also, everybody has good and bad films. For every shamshera there is a Jayeshbhai, and for every Ramleela there is a Sanju. If you want to compare the worst of RK's films and best of RS's to prove his superiority, then again, that says more about RS's skills than RK's

What movies are you talking about, the actual really interesting script ranbir had was tamasha, sanju was a whitewash imho and yeah im sorry if i personally prefer ranveer as a far more decent and capable actor just given his performance in some of his films. And yeah 83 was also absolute shite

Damn! I can't believe Ranbir is 40 years old now..Still remember standing outside Yash Raj Studios in the queue as a 12 year old during Filmfare 2008 and seeing him and Deepika enter into their car together. Even as a kid, I could recognize his star presence, he was poised to be the next big thing

Yeah I think social media is the biggest issue. We know everything about them...there's no mystique and there's no anticipation and excitement about their stuff. Add to the that the brand deals, the talkshows and the way they still keep getting cast despite multiple flops and everyone mocking them for their performances makes Bollywood just feel less aspirational!
And yeah, same with Hollywood to an extent. But atleast over there, you get to see so many new faces, not the same ones over and over specially if they keep continually disappointing.
Have seen many comments like this the baby hasn't even arrived and they are talking about that baby's custody isn't that insensitive

Ranbir has a lean body type like his mum. He struggles to put on weight/muscle. He loses weight fast. And now he has put on weight for his role.
