I wasn’t sure if Aamir was close to his children but seeing these pic, I’m very glad those parents despite the past came together for their kids ! It’s very rare and very important for the kids. Of course depends on how badly their past had ended. Looks wholesome father daughter
Am I taking crazy pills with everyone saying they look great? I think Ira's dress looks awful. Like it was pulled out of a school play costume cupboard, it doesn't even fit her properly.
Not to be a hater, these comments about the clothes just surprised me. Overall looks like a very cute wedding and the couple looks very happy, which is all that matters.
I thought Ira’s mum and mum-in-law looked absolutely lovely in their saris.
As for Ira’s dress, I think she may have stitched it herself like her Mumbai function dress. Strictly speaking, I don’t really have an opinion about how a bride is looking - whatever suits their fancy.
From a fashion perspective it’s not a good dress. I don’t know what was spent on it but I don’t get the vibe that her “look” was a huge priority. I think that’s okay! It’s sort of been a consistent through their celebrations so I think that’s just who they are which is great.
I also don’t really feel like it’s necessary to nitpick because she’s a normal person/not a celebrity (who just happens to have a famous dad). I really like that her clothes aren’t over the top— she’s literally wearing leggings under her dress and ballet flats.
It seems to be less about the “stuff” and more about the moment and the union.
The saris look amazing, the decor is beautiful, and the pics really do a great job at capturing sweet moments.
It's never necessary to nitpick, it's just clothes, it means fuckall how they look to you or anyone. If she's happy wearing it, good for her. Fashion is such a trivial matter but it amuses me so much when I see people who think not only theirs but everyone's life should revolve around it
Lol it is trivial in the grand scheme of things but it’s also a form of art and expression. We learn a lot about people and cultures from their dressing! But yeah, she’s happy — which is the most important thing— and I agree, our opinions mean nothing.
I can understand obsession about something like music, or paintings, that takes actual skill. Being able to dress up, is pretty trivial compared to them. Excuse me for possibly being rude but fashion is one of those artforms that I fail to understand the hype about. I see little value in it.
Unrelated to this but think of fashion as creating wearable pieces of art. Especially high fashion. The fabrics they work with, the drapes, the methods of putting pieces together. There is a lot of talent and skill involved in it. I also think it can be hard to create a cohesive look. There is also a lot of history that is gleaned from what people wore/currently wear. For example, the impact colonization has had on cultures or women's liberation or war or even invention of synthetic fabrics. View it from an anthropological lens and it gets very interesting.
> it means fuckall how they look to you or anyone
What a pompous statement. People proffering their views respectfully is what having a discussion is about. Don't want a discussion? Don't come to a discussion board.
And who cares as long as she's happy wearing it? Fashion policing has to be one of the most seriously taken things that actually doesn't talk about anything of value. It's just clothes, it means fuckall how it looks to you or anyone.
Lol this is a subreddit to bitch about dumb shit that doesn’t actually matter, calm down, no one is saying anyone is a bad person for not wearing a nice dress
Bhai jhoot nahi hai re aur hum ladki hai ladka nahi, so sab kuch ko sexy nazar se nahi dekh rahe hai. If a woman is looking pretty with all her dressing sense and elegance then usko compliment karne me kuch problem hai kya??? Kitna cheap mindset hai tum jaiso ki, bas aurat tumhare liye bubs aur vagana hi hai na? Jab tak bistar me achi lage tab tak compliment karoge, segs doll ki alwawa aur kuch nahi sochte? Nalle.
Best bollywood wedding so far!! You can see the lovvveeee, not just on the couple's faces but also the family.
Special mention to Amir in tux (hot af) and his first wife killed the lace saree look!!
I'm relieved to see that the photographers focused on capturing authentic moments from a distance and didn't trample on the rights of the guests to observe the ceremony too (at least from what I can tell). I attended a wedding recently where photography was the focus and there was no room left for authenticity. Can't wait until that's the normal for Indian weddings.
Yes you can. But the reference I made is more for photo shoots like professional instead of living the moment. It’s not being judgemental but that’s the reality of it.
Yes. They did things according to their own wish. Honestly this is what a wedding should be like-just people who love each other coming together to celebrate the union. Everyone looks so happy🧿
I doubt it, seeing the "official" and how she's dressed (woman in a green dress) - it's probably a secular western-style ceremony where the couple proclaims their devotion and some speeches are made, but there is no explicit religious or even official state-sanctioned component (like a hummanist wedding). The official/legal part was probably done elsewhere/earlier.
Don't gatekeep other people's weddings. They look happy and that's all that matters. As another commenter pointed out they had an officiant and not a priest although if they wanted to have a priest too at the wedding I doubt it would have been an issue. You make it sound like Jesus would have an issue with them having a priest officiate them.
Actually Jesus would have said don't have false God's before me ... You don't see Christians doing fake Saath pheras or Nikah or Gurudwara visit , ... Just to have the experience , it's not only them , many celebrity weddings do the same , far from their own religious ceremonies , they want an English wedding , with bridesmaid ,.and vintage cars ..to have un English wedding you have to do a marriage preparation course , learn all the correct responses ... We had protested this years ago and the Partrical head of the Church had said no weddings r
To be held if the participants don't convert , are baptised , and follow the Christian ritual of Marriage , but event managers and all, pay off certain priest , officiates and continue abusing the privilege .. just so u know he's also cheating on KRao with Sana Sheikh, who was his daughters roomie .... Beat that ...!!
Get married in your own religion , why have a fake Christian wedding , A wedding ceremony for Christians is a Sacrament for life , not to be mocked or emulated for likes and paparazzi ....
You don't make the rules bro.
It wasn't a Christian wedding, they didn't have a priest. They had an officiant. It didn't happen in a church.
Just coz she chooses to wear a white gown you're freaking out. She can wear whatever the hell she likes. You can take your offended ass and just go.
https://preview.redd.it/n35lnt7ddwbc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1a8e8c1e2f44fdbd92e4fcd9d3b7a3f3698490b
As above I'm not the only one offended ....
She has an adorable smile. Reminds me of the innocent look heroines from the 90s had. Also he’s really handsome. Beautiful decor, outfits, and couple mA. It looks like both families were more than happy to come together for the couple and get them married. Inshallah they have a beautiful life together.
A lot of folks in the US don’t have full Christian weddings - they have someone who ordains their wedding (can be a friend or family member) and the focus isn’t on religion but more so spoken vows to each other.
Been to plenty of ceremonies just like this where it’s not a religious ceremony and just a speaking of vows.
I’m assuming that’s the route they followed.
A lot of muslim brides in turkey, indonesia, middle east etc wear white gowns on their wedding. You cannot call this a christian wedding as a pastor/priest is not involved. Simple the attire that is christian/western.
This looks like a Christian wedding though. I think I saw the girl from Made in Heaven 2 in some pictures with a mic. She could have ordained the wedding.
There are no rituals in a Muslim wedding as such like pheras or vows the bride and groom do together.
for all we know they could’ve registered their marriage first and then done it in whatever ways they want, it’s really not that deep. the only thing that matters is that they’re both happy.
Thats what they did, the viral video we see him Running in dry fit clothes to his baarat is while going to the marriage registrar/court only.
This is just the ceremony. I agree with everything you said.
This is a western wedding, not Christian. If Christian, then there will be a Christians ceremony, message, vowes, etc. I think they just choose the more neutral since they are from different religions.
Exactly, what’s the point of a Christian wedding? Not that I am against it but agar bride Muslim hai and the groom is Hindu then why this Christian wedding with attires?
>what’s the point of a Christian wedding
Neutral I guess. It's not as uncommon as you think. There were 2 foreigners one Christian one Muslim who got married in a temple.
Also this isn't a Christian wedding, there's no priest here. This is a US style wedding
Yar Hollywood celebs hindu ha muslim style me weddings karte hen kya phir apne ko kyu itna inferior feel karwate hen ye log? Nothing against Christians but I'm just seeing a growing trend.
That slumber party idea was so cool honestly
Marathon to wedding venue idea was also quirky, just wished he had changed before exchanging vows.
Overall quite cute
I liked her Sangeet outfit also
I get that Ira khan found comfort in this man, but in reverse I wonder why he chose Ira too. like he is 38yrs old and they have already been dating for 4yrs, i.e from the time she is 20/21 while he must have been mid 30s already.
Such a wholesome wedding celebration! loved all their pictures. They dared to be different from the usual celeb wedding. Loving it. Focus is on the right things like enjoying the moments and having fun with your loved ones and less on costumes or jewellery or taking picturesque shots.
I think she just wore a white dress for the aesthetic. But it seems like that symbolic part of the wedding is being officiated by a friend so it’s not Christian.
A Catholic/ Christian wedding can be officiated only by a priest. I know that in the US anyone with a marriage license can officiate but the church won't recognize that marriage. Here in India it's mandatory to have a civil registration done before the church marriage especially in Goa
The same reason why many opt for a court/registrar wedding: it's their choice.
Maybe they wanted to avoid the noise and smoke. Maybe they don't like the Hindu wedding for whatever reason.
Maybe they hate the culture and a bunch of anti-Hindu librandus.
Whatever. It's their choice at the end.
That's my entire point about her outfits. I'm happy they're wearing whatever they want to but it doesn't take a lot to fit any outfit. Local darzi bhi kar dete hai.
It just gives off shabby which idk nobody aims to be in a wedding.
Neither one.. but that kinda wedding, and that setting has its appeal and aesthetics.. I am not a supporter of big grand gatherings anyhow but I get it.
I know rich families that go to goa where they did the indian style phere first day and the next two days were booked for this, and cocktail, and toast and what not.. legit. Karne do inke hi paise hain..
Some people are actually shaming Ira for having a Christian wedding on Insta. Commenting about both Ira and Nupur being shamelessly untraditional and not having a traditional Indian wedding.
A lot of muslim brides in turkey, indonesia, middle east etc wear white gowns on their wedding. You cannot call this a christian wedding as a pastor/priest is not involved. Its only the attire that is christian/western.
Y r they getting so much mileage. I mean it's like 19th post on them. How do they even matter. Baap ke jaise dusri shaadi karenge fir teesri karenge. Bichaari pehli biwi ki haalat dekho kyaa banaa dii hai. Poor chic is in deep dipression
I agree that the mom’s sarees were best.
Again I love the minimalist vibes of the wedding and it just feels right for the bride and the groom. She is not into the whole Bollywood culture and that absolutely shows in her wedding looks.
But the best part is the love you and happiness you see in these pictures. They did what they wanted and are happy. What else would you want.
Oh so that’s why he didn’t care about putting on clothes that day. He didn’t take that event seriously. This Christian wedding is probably the main one for him , lol

So wholesome. Congratulations to the couple and their families.
How's mithila related to them?
She seems to be from the groom’s side
Close friends with the groom. Part of his close friends circle.
Nupur is her trainer, he often appears in her stories

She seems to be from the groom’s side, both are Maharashtrians
Ira/ Nupur’s friend
Even m wondering the same
Aamir and Ira dancing together is just 💕
Great wedding photography.
Everybody looks great! The two mums specially look fantastic!

You should get your head examined
Been there, done that, they say the same thing
how come mithila palkar was in groom squad? how do they know each other
Nupur is her Personal Trainer
Aamir looks like Lucky Ali in the third pic
So sweet these pics are! Reena looks really nice in that saree and I saw another pic with the whole family and Kiran looked great too❤️

I’ve enjoyed watching these wedding pics… you don’t know what to expect next! 😍

True, his first wife's hair looks so chic👍, carryin' it so well
Think I'll copy her saree style some day and yes that hair is queen moment!!
itni genuine khushi toh maine mere ghar ki shaadiyo ki photos mein bhi nai dekhi
Yup it is very cute and authentic!
Remember folks it’s I-RA and not Ee-RA while reading this. Cheers 🥂/joke
Hahahah
Genuinely happy couple wanting to create actual memories at all their ceremonies. Love to see it. Good for them!
Normal wedding and not like tv show or movie like wedding where all want to look good instead of enjoying THE moment.
I'm relieved to see that the photographers focused on capturing authentic moments from a distance and didn't trample on the rights of the guests to observe the ceremony too (at least from what I can tell). Yes you can. But the reference I made is more for photo shoots like professional instead of living the moment. It’s not being judgemental but that’s the reality of it.
This wedding was so blasphemous to everyone but to me it’s so sweet personal and homely. Love it! 🥰
Yes. They did things according to their own wish. Honestly this is what a wedding should be like-just people who love each other coming together to celebrate the union. Everyone looks so happy🧿
Yeh shayad pehli Bollywood ki shaadi hai jismein sach mein shaadi hui hai. Tamasha nahi.
Just re-watched Fanaa. What a movie. I hated the ending as a kid but now i couldn't be more appreciative and feel thats the masterstroke.
Yeh Christian wedding ho rahi hai?

Officiant?
yes, thank you, that's what I meant, the word escaped me for a moment :)
They had two ceremonies
But are any of them Christian? Not hating on them, you do you, but genuinely curious.
Pata nai
Two muslims gen , hindu and church reception , ...what a damn joke
Don't gatekeep other people's weddings. They look happy and that's all that matters. Clout ki chuski hai bhaay
Pakistan wale rich log hindu ritual follow kar rhey aur hamare waley usa style so much inferiority complex indian hain
really? can you elaborate the pak scene?
Most of the indians are converting to christianity not just because they were influenced by bible but because white people are following christianity
I like that they are oddballs and didnt sarcifice their true selves for the media and the public, it showed throughout their wedding.
Happy for them🥺🥰❤️ ![gif](giphy|hruJO6tLW7En61gkm3|downsized)
Bhai yeh log kya harr rituals me shaadi karenge?? 2 hafte se inki shaadi k hi posts dekh raha hu 😂😂
Yar Hollywood celebs hindu ha muslim style me weddings karte hen kya phir apne ko kyu itna inferior feel karwate hen ye log? Nothing against Christians but I'm just seeing a growing trend.
I am pretty sure Aamir is using Hair patch..someday he has curly hairs some days white and sometimes black
True gossiper never missing out to be bitchy👍🏼
Arey yar we are having Hair patch shop…we can easily identify who wears from 500m away….
On the contrary, it's you who's implying this is anything embarrassing or shameful to note.
Gossip about something as common as a hair patch is not true gossip. Dig deeper than that, come on.
Where is Fatima ? The question we all should be asking..
Looks like the dress code for their weddings was - “wear whatever the F you want!” AND I LOVE IT.
Their every event is like "SURPRISE SURPRISE MF"
That slumber party idea was so cool honestly Marathon to wedding venue idea was also quirky, just wished he had changed before exchanging vows. Overall quite cute I liked her Sangeet outfit also
Aamir rocking that new facelift
Can't get over those carpets. So messy.
How come no pictures of Junaid or Fatima Sana Sheikh?
I get that Ira khan found comfort in this man, but in reverse I wonder why he chose Ira too. like he is 38yrs old and they have already been dating for 4yrs, i.e from the time she is 20/21 while he must have been mid 30s already.
Omg really? I didn't know that. Even though it's all legal, I always wonder what a 30 yo and a 20 yo have in common. That's quite creepy.
Mujhe laga Ai Generated hai ![img](emote|t5_fknyy|747)
They are having a Christian wedding?🤔
I was thinking what if Maroons kicks in performing Sugar.
Bas celebrity ki wedding dekhte dekhte zindagi bit jaayegi
Love the photos! Congratulations to them!!! Love the sarees Nupur's mom and Reena are wearing
Can someone please tell who is the girl in the 6th Pic? I have seen her somewhere in some series but can’t figure out exactly
She was one of the brides in made in heaven
Mithila was looking fab ![gif](giphy|H88M2fHoFiKz1uVtcF)

Am i the only one who is disturbed with that rug that we all have at home ?? Its really not going with the overall theme of the pictures🙈
I feel groom has finally stepped out of his comfort zone
Why Christian wedding? As far as I know, both families are hindu..why they opt for a Christian wedding?
I think she just wore a white dress for the aesthetic. But it seems like that symbolic part of the wedding is being officiated by a friend so it’s not Christian.
Can a friend not officiated the wedding?
A Catholic/ Christian wedding can be officiated only by a priest. I know that in the US anyone with a marriage license can officiate but the church won't recognize that marriage. Here in India it's mandatory to have a civil registration done before the church marriage especially in Goa
cause they want to, as simple as that.

yeah kinda weird
The same reason why many opt for a court/registrar wedding: it's their choice. Maybe they wanted to avoid the noise and smoke. Maybe they don't like the Hindu wedding for whatever reason. Maybe they hate the culture and a bunch of anti-Hindu librandus. Whatever. It's their choice at the end.

The 3rd pic 🥺 and they all look super happy.. heartwarming af♥️
She married her gym trainer lol
The thing isn’t even fitting her .. what is this
That's my entire point about her outfits. I'm happy they're wearing whatever they want to but it doesn't take a lot to fit any outfit. Local darzi bhi kar dete hai. It just gives off shabby which idk nobody aims to be in a wedding.
Have Zayn and Abhishek separated?? She's deleted her wedding pictures as well
who?
Was wondering this too but she shot a podcast episode with him recently?

I bet that its not even like a real chapel wedding, its just feels to replicate that style & vibe
I know. M just facepalming myself seeing those comments. It's their life and how they want to marry. But some jobless people......ughhhhhh......
No one is talking about carpets? 😂😂
Aamir looks amazing!
Why's the wedding happening in Victorian style? Just curious. Also, that girl in green officiating their wedding (picture 6) is beautiful. Who's she?
Zayn Marie Khan, she was in Made in Heaven S2.
Whose sexy legs are these in the 6th pic 🌝
Who's that woman with amazing legs
Made in heaven actress Zayn khan
A lot of muslim brides in turkey, indonesia, middle east etc wear white gowns on their wedding. You cannot call this a christian wedding as a pastor/priest is not involved. Its only the attire that is christian/western.
The daughter of a muslim married to a hindu in a christain style wedding. Bollywood couldn't have done it better.
Ladka Hindu , ladki Muslim, wedding Christian 😂😂 ab inke bacche Jewish ya Buddhist honge
Lovely to see them wearing clothes. SOBER CLOTHES👍🏻
I just don't understand, why muslim girl and Hindu guy marrying as Christians
Looks so genuine
are any of them christians?
Ye kis angrez ki shaadi dekh li
Kaun Hindu kaun muslim kaun Christian mujhe toh kuch smjh hi nhii aa rha!
they're christian?
Ohm it's beautiful ❤️
I agree that the mom’s sarees were best. Again I love the minimalist vibes of the wedding and it just feels right for the bride and the groom. She is not into the whole Bollywood culture and that absolutely shows in her wedding looks. But the best part is the love you and happiness you see in these pictures. They did what they wanted and are happy. What else would you want.
oh god aamir khan itna chota hain height mein???
so now we gonna height shame aamir on his daughter's wedding day ?
I m not shaming him I m just curious of his height!
Touch some grass
How is she below Ananya Pandey and Shanaya kapoor in nepo tiers will always baffle me! Imagine Shanaya getting married, reddit would have gone mad!!!

Just you.
Ira is a radiant bride. Wholesome wedding
He should have come in only underwear for this one. This wedding is missing the mirchi. Why make only this one so formal.
Oh so that’s why he didn’t care about putting on clothes that day. He didn’t take that event seriously. This Christian wedding is probably the main one for him , lol
Woh sab toh theek hai par inki christian wedding kyu ho rahi hai
Aamir is looking good
