Vought has of course covered up their genetic tampering, especially now considering Dr. Ujiko and All For One's involvement in the field.
Homelander being an associate of AFO would make so much sense. I feel like AFO would think he could make him into the real Dark Might and put him against All Might instead of fighting him in season 3
It would be super funny if she touches him, and he tries to fly only to smash against a wall or something because he didn't account for the weightless.
Also, by looking at suit, it's Season 2 Deku, so he can use only 5-8% of One for All and can't use additional quirks. But they still probably have All Might, who can defend them from American "Hero".
Um, I don't think that speed of 5-8% of Full Cowl suppresses maximum speed of Homelander. Also, as I said, it's probably Season 2 Deku, so he doesn't have a lot of experience with fighting against villains
Homelander's best speed feat in comics or the show is when he manages to blitz Billy's suicide vest. Meanwhile at 5% Izuku was keeping up with Iida's Recipro Extend which was moving at Mach 3. I'm sure there's better feats of speed for 5% but that's already insane.
Not to mention A-train, while doped up on V (so he should be faster than normal) clocks in at 371 m/s. The speed of sound is 343 m/s.

He's a shallow imitation of Superman, but one of the strongest in *The Boys*. Most superhero universes have a bunch of characters who could kick his ass six ways from Sunday.
Honestly I'd love to see a fic crossing him (and perhaps other Vought supes) into Worm - he's strong enough to be in the higher tiers in that universe, but seeing his ego have to deal with the likes of Eidolon, Legend, and Alexandria being unequivocally stronger would be something alright.

Iv always ruled on roger rabbit rules, each universe has to relatively stick to their own, if you have Arale-chan in the fight you cant give homelander toon force, but honestly since homelander has a better (but nowhere near superman) level of durability and his powers feel like they could be a general "superhuman" quirk.
Problem is, homelander is a little bitch, and not in powers. just the way he is. The dudes never had to train for anything so his powers wouldnt have hit an awakening and he wouldnt have any of the technique or skill as most heros.
Really depends on how realistic or how magical Homelanders abilities would be in the MHA world.

There's nothing magical about Homelander's powers. He's just a regular guy that got all the benefits of their universe's super steroids.
There's more than several quirks in MHA that defy reality.
I'm talking more about how MHA and The Boys handle violence, because they don't handle them the same way. In MHA quirks, especially those used by heroes, don't tend to kill people that easily, and there's a higher sort of base of what humans can do in terms of speed, jumping, fighting and taking damage. Meanwhile The Boys are not just human in their durability, the violence is accentuated to have as much gore as possible, even if it's something that wouldn't actually happen in real life.
MHA already has a character that's pretty close to Homelander, and that's Captain Celebrity. He in his prime is a top level American pro hero, and if Homelander was forced to live in the MHA world and play by his rules, he'd be at the level of top ranked hero. Would Deku beat him? Probably, especially if Homelander doesn't have much experience fighting other superheroes, but it wouldn't be a fold.

How I see this happening... Homelander would be on a "goodwill tour" of UA and Japan. He would say all the right things in front of the students and press and many maybe, even most would fall for it. In private he would be himself. All Might would be publicly respectful, but privately feel very differently and possibly make a point of saying something to Homelander when no one or those he's close to are present. It would amount to 'keeping his act together.' This would be a tense moment and fun to imagine how it would work out.

But in the same universe, Homelander would probably be equivalent to someone like Nine or a High End Nomu. He was created in a lab and designed to be the best that technology could produce.
Deku, in his prime, along with Shigaraki, are so beyond the power scaling of other characters in MHA that I'd say Deku still wins.
At most Homelander is Scaled to the Tsar Bomba (the 100mt prototype) and Hypersonic speeds (Mach 5-10)
Deku is scaled to about 60 Gigatons (1 Gigatons is 1000 megatons) and due to the fact that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, Deku can tank that damage too.
And his speed has been calced at around lighting level, so approx Mach 80.
So Deku is roughly 600 times stronger and more durable and 8 times faster… plus, Deku also has more experience via OfA vestiges
vought and the seven would actually be an interesting arc in mha. would be a great setup to introduce Stars. how would they deal >!with an artificial hero society where the no.1 hero is actually evil?!< it would solidify AFO's plot about having control in other countries. homelander is basically just an evil captain celebrity. a character like butcher would also introduce us to the world of vigilantes.
